Our server, Nitin, could not have been more wonderful. That said, there were not enough servers so as expected, it took longer to get something requested, like refills, etc. This was not his fault. He was working very hard. The crabcakes were divine. I highly recommend. I had the special, cornish game hen. It was very tasty. My only complaint was that I took part of it to go and later realized that the leg and thigh portion was still pink on the inside. After that, I couldn't eat it. More

The food was good; but you are paying a Muskoka premium for the restaurants at the JW Marriot. The service and food is not quite at the same level it would be if they were in Toronto, however we really enjoyed our meal. We shared the charcuterie (meat & cheese plate) - there was plenty, it would have been great for a table of 4. I had the lobster ravioli - very creamy, and a strong lobster flavour. My partner had the rack of lamb, and really enjoyed it. We left full and happy. More

I stayed this resort for three days and two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. I enjoyed my trip while I was staying. It was breathtaking to see a beautiful landscape in the resort. I had such a good time watching turn leaves colour changing, walking, riding a bike, etc. However, there are two things that I didn't like or want the resort to be improved. First, it was hard to believe to see many flies in my room. I killed them more than ten flies found on the floor, walls and behind curtains. This can be an insanity issue. Second, I wish they have some gluten-free or dairy-free milk in the cafeteria or the restaurant. I had morning and dinner buffet; I couldn't find any of them. The resort is the upscale hotel; they should have provided more options for the people who do not tolerate or sensitive about gluten or dairy foods. Overall, I had a wonderful time with my family!
