Stay away .. horrible drinks menu...food is not bad but nothing to write home about.... selling a below average product at about average price
Stock and Barrel is quickly becoming one of my favorite DFW restaurants. The space is beautiful … From the spectacular ( but not overly invasive ) service to the perfect cocktails, it’s an incredible experience. The food is creative and satisfying, leaving you wanting to try their take on everything on the menu. Already looking forward to returning!
Good food! Good Service!
The service was fast, friendly and accurate. The food was a small portion size but very tasty and served at the perfect temperature. The staff accommodated a change request on the drinks easily.
I will definitely come back.
A friend and I went here for brunch and had a wonderful time! We were able to sit outside and it was such a nice day so that added to the comfort level and ambiance. Staff was SUPER friendly and attentive (but not annoyingly so). Food was great. I got the burger and it was delicious. Also recommend the Indian paintbrush (cocktail) DELICIOUS! Light, slightly fruity with the pomegranate but it wasn't overpowering.
If you're someone who is looking to go to a restaurant where staff wear masks, this is not it. But we are vaccinated and they did try to keep seating somewhat distant, plus sitting outside so we were comfortable.
Awesome food and great drinks. We have eaten here for Brunch and dinner and both were amazing. Fried pasta for brunch and their signature meatloaf were both really memorable. Will definitely go there again. Worth the trip from anywhere in the metroplex.
Great food & really great service. We were also thanked for coming. Great restaurant. Looking forward to cooler weather so I can order the smoky old fashioned. Hard for me to drink bourbon when it’s warm out. Plenty of other amazing libations here to tide me over until it’s bourbon season again.
Fantastic food, really liked the decor, wait staff were friendly and helpful, . All around great meal. Will be back!
Great foodie experience. Lots of interesting combinations to try. Loved everything we had. Definitely will be back.
We have been there quite a few times and it's well worth the 45 min drive from Colleyville. This place never disappoints. The chef is an absolute rock star. The food is consistently excellent and we can't wait to go back.
My customer loved the place. He asked if we could go back next time he’s in town.
Excellent from top to bottom! Food was exceptional, service top notch, atmosphere superb. Highly recommended, and we will continue coming back!
The experience overall was great. Would go there again for sure.
The only negative was they were “out of” the first three drinks we ordered; but even then the drinks we got were delicious.
Server and ambiance were great, the food was not worth it. Ordered avocado chilaquiles and there was maybe a quarter of an avocado in it. The eggs were over cooked. Not worth the price.
Excellent service! Food was terrific, especially the Wagyu Burger.
Fantastic dining experience!
Great, friendly service. Food was wonderful. Topped off the night with their fabulous Texas Peach dessert. Highly recommend
Perfect! Went for a birthday and it happened to be restaurant week! Everything we ate was great! And the drinks were good as well. Our waiter was amazing! Atmosphere was nice but relaxed enough. Definitely going back for date night soon.
Last weekend for restaurant week. We thought their menu was so good, we came back after the preview weekend. Everything was delish. The truffled maitake mushrooms - lightly fried wonderful. The wagyu meatloaf with bacon hash. The only change was dessert of butterscotch pot du creme was good, but I liked the toffee croissant bread pudding better from preview weekend. Perry did a great job serving and with recommendations. We will definitely be back.
It was an awesome experience- while l have dined here before my friend hadn’t. Our waiter as well as the Mgr were very pleasant and attentive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a party of 5 and everyone was thoroughly pleased with their food. The servers were top knotch. The drinks superb. Excellent experience and evening. $$$ but worth it!!!
Sadly we visited this restaurant last week and it was totally different experience.
Cold food, wrong food, etc.
We visited for restaurant week as we always try to find a new place we have never eaten at to make it a regular. The food and busy atmosphere was wonderful. It was my first time here. My server however was not the best at all! Thank goodness for the other team members that stepped in to assist my server. It took him a long time to put in our drink orders to the point that my initial drink I ordered they were out of. However I saw people who came after me get that drink before I was told they ran out of one of the ingredients. He was slow doing everything but I slowly realized it wasn’t just at our table it was at all the tables he had. The place is very lively and I love the busy atmosphere and space. I will return but will probably sit at the bar if it is a busy night so this will have to be a solo spot not a girls night out spot.
We went to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was great! Garlic noodles were out of this world. Service was great. We sat on the patio and while it was a hot night they had fans and misters which made it very pleasant
The food was excellent along with the service. My wife and I love finding local gems in the Bishop Arts Neighborhood.
The food was excellent and the service was awesome as well!
Great food and comfortable environment. I will definitely go back.
The food was over priced for the quality. We felt the green beans were greasy and overly spiced. The mushrooms were odd to eat and boring. The meatballs were good. Spaghetti was good. Chicken was good. Bread pudding was fair at best. Peach dessert was good. But everything was sub par for the price.
Service was ok.
Delicious everything, especially the watermelon panella and the Korean fried chicken. I had the Stock and Barrel gin and tonic and it was perfect and beautiful. Looking forward to going again.
Happened upon Restaurant Week and decided to try it with the wine pairing. My husband and I got different items so we could try more and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!
Food and service were amazing!
Stock and Barrel was great. Christian, our waiter, went out of his way to make us comfortable. We got a corner table to ensure enough spacing. All waiters were masked. Food was awesome. We went for Restaurant Week and the meatloaf, shrimp and spaghetti were all delicious. Wyaugi meatball appetizer was surprisingly tasty. We will go back.
Great wait staff, great food , a little noisy . Dessert was wonderful
My group enjoyed the food noone had any complaints about their entre. The portions are not big so you won't need a doggie bag. Parking was a bit of a challenge since we didn't know the area. Definitely try their fried mushrooms appetizer it was delish. I would definitely dine there again.
This is one of those places you come back to everytime you think about .." best meal I've had.."
Very disappointing. Shrimp was good. Meatloaf too dense. Sent back avocado tostado as it was flavorless. Waiter was totally spaced out (but nice enough just couldn’t get anything right). Don’t think we will be back which is sad as we were looking forward to it based on friends’ recommendation.
Normally I like this restaurant very much. They accepted our reservation at 8:30 but almost immediately upon sitting down and getting a drink we were told the kitchen was closing in five minutes. They continued to serve us at a breakneck pace that really ruined our meal. Why would they accept reservations that required them to rush us out of the restaurant? We could have easily gone somewhere else. I asked to speak to the manager about it and he refused - just sent the waiter back to apologize again - which was pretty poor form. Anyway, it’s really disappointing. I’ve been eating there for many years and never had anything like that happen.
AMAZING!! Great food & service
I went for restaurant week and loved my appetizer, entree and dessert. Also, the pineapple mezcalita was delicious! I'm definitely going back to try other menu items.
