Our rating does not reflect the quality of food there nor the general service they provided for us. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed all of our dishes until the last course on the tasting menu. My husband and I both have celiac which requires strictly gluten free foods. When we ordered the tasting menu we were told everything was safe except the petite four which they won’t serve. But it was served to us. We thought they might have switched out the gluten ones which is what some restaurants do with tasting menus. We waited to double check with the staff who had been explaining all our dishes that night. Both of us thought we heard them tell us it has no gluten, but by the time someone came out of the kitchen to tell us it actually has gluten my husband had already eaten it. We were extremely upset not just because he ate gluten but more because we thought we could let our guard down and have a nice experience but it was ruined.

The tasting menu from Chef was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. And the one pairing with the dinner was perfect! The service was impeccable and the whole team made our special night feel even more special. It was truly and inspiration — from the food and the space, to the settings and aesthetic.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was amazing. Only disadvantage is that people are allowed to smoke in the open areas of the restaurant which comes into the nine smoking section.

El lugar esta padrisimo! Si fuera naturaleza, tendría como que varios ecosistemas. Cada parte del restaurante tiene su propio concepto, ademas de que hay área de fumadores y no fumadores. Lo único, no se si siempre sea así, o sea por el clima de esta época... pero teníamos bastante frío y es que no llevamos abrigos ni chamarras, jejeje. Respecto a la atención, uuf, amables a más no poder, siempre atentos a ti, pero sin ser enfadosos, punto a favor, ademas te explican acerca de tu platillo y que contiene, que eso siempre se agradece. El chef Edgar todo un anfitrión, se tomo unos momentos de su ajetreada agenda para visitarnos en nuestra mesa y platicar con nosotros, ademas de dejarnos una tarjeta firmada con buenos deseos y regalarnos un pastel por el festejo que estábamos realizando. En cuanto a la comida, en nuestro caso elegimos el menú degustación, un poco caro ya que no estamos acostumbrados a esos precios, pero definitivamente valió cada peso!! DELICIOSO!! Solo hubo 2 de como de los 11 platillos que degustamos que no nos agrado mucho al paladar, pero quizá sea porque no estamos acostumbrado a ello, pero el resto... se vuelan la barda!! Un punto que deberían de considerar. No se si en el menú degustación no lo manejan o si se le paso al mesero, pero no nos llevaron ni una sola pieza de pan, el cual estuvimos esperando bastante tiempo, porque ademas en otras mesas (las cuales no eligieron menú degustación), recibían su canastita con varios tipos de pan, que por cierto se veían exquisitos.

The overall atmosphere at sud777 is absolute amazing. The octopus is a must - best I’ve ever had. The tuna tostadas is so fresh and yummy. The service was very attentive. It is a bit outside the city but definitely worth the trip!

Great innovative and creative food!!! All the dishes were above expectations...the scallops in coconut juice are to dye for!!! And the beef tongue out this world!!!! Notable wine list!! Highly recommend it.

La comida y el servicio fueron extraordinarios. Fui con mi pareja para cenar por ocasión especial y nos llevamos una muy grata sorpresa. Busqué este restaurante como opción de un lugar tipo Pujol y me dejó convencido.

Muy buen lugar, únicamente considero requiere se de un poco de mantenimiento, las repisas de la pared en donde nos sentamos tenia polvo y una parte de la duela del bar esta suelte, entonces podría ocasionar un accidente

Surprisingly good, considering the low profile by which the restaurant promotes itself. The waiters do a fantastic job not being intrusive or pushy trying to sell drinks. They are attentive and very aware of your needs when you ask them for anything. That is a very nice touch. When we got our table there was already a congratulations card signed by the Chef. The food was perfecttly prepared, the orders where satisfying and the drinks well served. Definitely a must for a close future visit.

Place is beautiful And service was impeccable. Alas, our entrees—a tuna dish and the robaro (catch of the day) were essentially tasteless. It was shocking. Our starters —pulpo, beets and asparagus—were okay. Overall, a great disappointment, im afraid.

La calidad y experiencia estuvo fabulosa, varios pidieron a la carta yo el menú de degustación. Estuvo muy bien, pero si tuvo un par de fallas la piña estaba muy dura como si fuera el corazón y el platillo Del Mar, era róbalo sino mal recuerdo estaba un poco crudo, yo no soy muy quisquilloso eso si el sabor increíble. Yo le recomiendo, el lugar a cualquier persona que quiera tener una experiencia, de la comida mexicana. Una pena que nosotros vivimos en BC, nos veremos en la próxima visita.

Just go here. We spent three hours here and it felt as if it passed in a minute. we adored the experience. If you choose the tasting menu, definitely do the wine or juice pairings as well. But you honestly can't go wrong here. The highlight, for me, was learning about the possibility of flavoring food with ash. amazing.

One of my favorite dining experiences while I was in Mexico City. The chef Edgar Nunez let the natural flavors of the ingredients speak for themselves, rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. The restaurant itself is a very tranquil and relaxing setting with a nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere. The staff was very kind and attentive, and the chef brought some dishes to our table himself, which is fairly unheard of these days. I enjoy getting the chance to meet the chef when I go to a nice tasting menu inspired restaurant, since it’s their creativity with the ingredients which has built the reputation and success. Would you pay to see The Rolling Stones if Mick Jagger wasn’t their?

Comida deliciosa, porciones adecuadas, precios justos. El ambiente es tranquilo aunque seguramente fue por la hora (3-5 pm). La decoración muy sobria. No me encantó la mesa que me dieron porque estaba muy al centro y de paso, hubiera preferido una más privada pero lamentablemente estaban todas ocupadas. El servicio es bueno pero puede mejorar, tardaron varios minutos desde que nos recibieron hasta ofrecernos la carta y tomarnos la orden, después todo bien.
