We loved our trip to Sufi. The food was outstanding and the service so friendly. I would highly recommend it.
The waitress didn’t recognize our booking. Her wording for communicating with the guests and her colleagues is as if she was talking to her teenage friends in a high school. We ordered a vegetarian dish and was provided with a chicken one. When we reported the problem, the waitress asked, "so you don't want it?". The manager saw the situation and stayed at the counter. He neither said sorry nor offered any compensation for the disrespectful mistake.
The waiter said they will take the OpenTable dining cheques. However, they didn't at the end, even though the family style restaurant is not on the list of "Which restaurants in the United Kingdom have opted out of accepting OpenTable dining cheques?.
Small friendly restaurant, service good and food excellent
A lovely family restaurant. My favourite place to eat in Shepherd’s Bush. The owner is so friendly and rightly proud of his food. Great Persian food and amazing value for money. Try the wine from Lebanon.
Always a great meal, we go back time and time again
Just the best Persian food in London. Warm friendly and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!
We've eaten at Sufi I don't know how many times and the food and service have always been exceptional. Fragrantly authentic Persian cuisine, modestly priced, as is the wine, make this a real gem of a local restaurant.
Great food and extremely nice service. Will go back!
I love Sufi. It is a favourite with my family and we have been going there ever since it opened. It's just wonderful.
Best of best, Faboulous Kebabs & Skewers. Nice Persian tea and Baklava.
We were made very welcome from the time we arrived and the food and service were faultless.
We went for Valentine&s Day, which was good, because just a bit festive without being in the least tacky. Would very much recommend the pomegranate stew
Sufi maintains its standards of tasty food, enormous portions and friendly atmosphered. I especially recommend the rice with nuts and barberries - not on the menu, you have to ask for it (£4 extra but well worth it).
We go at Sufi quite often and every time we enjoy it, I definitely recommend it to anyone, the food is great and the staff is warm and friendly. Excellent experience
Always a pleasure to go to this local gem. Lovely owner and staff, tasty food, great value.
This is not a fancy venue. But it’s authentic, friendly and everything you want from a family run Persian restaurant
My wife and I had a lovely dining experience at Sufi. Lovely environment/atmosphere. Great food and service. Not a bad word to say. We will definitely be back. A very pleasant surprise!
Great food, and accommodating staff who managed to squeeze in the extra people that joined our group, albeit we were a bit cramped on the table. The bread is served fresh from the oven made live in front of you and each of the dips had distinctive tastes and the kebabs were cooked to perfection.
definitely going to be one of my favourite locals!
What a delicious meal! This was some of the freshest, tastiest Persian food I've ever had; I can't wait to return.
The food was great
Best Persian restaurant in London
We ate here on a Friday evening - the food was delicious and authentic, especially the tahdeeq and the fresh bread made in front of you. The service was relaxed and welcoming - we weren't rushed at all. And the bill was very reasonable. We travelled out of our way to come here and would definitely do so again.
Worth a visit for the freshly made bread and Persian tea alone! Delicious :)
Sufi is always our first choice for a Persian meal. The food is delicious, fragrant, beautifully tender, very generous portions. Duck fesenjan particularly good. And the bread divine! Very friendly prompt service, relaxed but quite lively atmosphere. Good value. Excellent all round and highly recommended.
Sufi was Ok... I chose this reservation based on good OT diner reviews, however we (4) struggled to see why they had such high ratings ?
The meals were good at best, certainly not memorable and none of us would return again.
The day of our visit was very warm, and Sufi has only one Aircon at the back of the restaurant and no fans !?
Suffice to say, we're not fans of Sufi either.
Wonderful Persian food, a good varied menu and top quality ingredients make this a stand out restaurant amongst many in this area. Very acceptable house wine by the glass is an added bonus. The Saffron Ice Cream was a lovely surprise and finished off our meal perfectly.
Great food! Good vegetarian options as well.
Delicious food and great service and an extremely reasonable bill!
It was an amazing dinner with a group of friends. I have never been there before but was not disappointed. Very nice and friendly atmosphere and AMAZING food! Totally worth it. I am sure I will dine in there again soon. Thank you!
Intimate, clean restaurant. Staff were attentive without being pushy. Best of all the food was great.
Recently took my parents here and they loved it. Flatbreads are a must, best I've had in a long time.
Amazing Persian food
This is a really good restaurant for small groups or couples. The food is spot on - authentic Persian cuisine using decent ingredients. Good value too - starters, mains, dessert and a couple of drinks each came to less than £30 per person. The front room is intimate, comfortable and authentically decorated whilst the back room seemed like it would be better for groups, but equally atmospheric. All in all this is one of the best restaurants in the Shepherds Bush area and worth going a bit further down the road from the heart of Shepherds Bush to get to.
The food was really good, the service was also friendly. We ate the dinner for 3 and it was plenty for our party of 3.
I adored Sufi- I will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. The only criticism I could make is that there are only two veggie dishes on the whole menu- but when they taste as good as they do (the aubergine one is divine), I'm not sure that's really an issue. Definitely add this to your list of places to go.
I found this restaurant to be nice and cosy,
service was a bit lacking, food was very good.
Price was good considering the quality of food.
Went on Valentines day, and the place had a great ambiance. Real romantic setting.
The food was good, nothing outstanding in my opinion, though still good tasting food. Price maybe a little steep for what it is. The naan freshly made at the front is a really nice touch, and tasted great. Starters were nice, and authentic. Mains tasted great, though seemed very simple, desert menu wasn't anything special.
Overall, would recommend and go again.
We have returned yet again for another evening meal with close friends and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the evening as a whole. The food was delicious and cooked with flare. We particularly enjoyed the freshly baked bread made to order.
little restaurant with impeccable service and very tasty food. I recommend the Mirza Ghasemi (grilled aubergine dip) starter and the Chello Joojeh Kebab (grilled chicken) for mains. Everything is excellent value.
We love it here, the food is great, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and everything is very well priced. And the naan bread might be the best I've had in london! Very happy customers!
Food was tasty, the ambience is much better in the front section of the restaurant. The back section is a bit sole less. Waitress was very friendly.
Decent neighborhood restaurant.
