   Very enjoyable lunch!! Great Beat Burger and delicious french fries. Sides including Beat Slaw, onion rings and Cheesy Garlic Bread, all home made!! Delicious and very good value!! Other lunches included Hunter's Chicken with sweet potato fries and salad. Chicken sandwich and Little Beat Cheese Burger, fries and carrot sticks. All empty plates, well worth the visit!! Delicious, top quality and very filling!! Lemon and blueberry crème brulee, to follow and Chocolate cheesecake with Chocolate ice cream, highly recommended. Little Beat definitely enjoyed Strawberry ice cream cone. Will definitely be returning!! Only second visit, great restaurant and pub, all Staff very polite and helpful!!

    We had Sunday lunch (roast beef) which was excellent, the service was great and when a better table came available we were asked if we would like to move. We will definitely visit again.

    A really nice evening meal. Had all the menu been available when we eat at 7pm the food would have scored 5, but with 2 items I’d have chosen off the menu I’ve allocated a score of 4. Everything else was really good.

    The Sugar Beat is always a great experience. Lovely food and great service. Nice new additions to the menu which we really enjoyed. Great for coeliacs as lots of gluten free options.

    Love love love the Sunday Roast. The only place I know when you get a separate side dish of cauliflower cheese which is my absolute favourite. They’re always willing to give you extra gravy as well.

    First time my 3 pals had eaten here and they were very impressed so sure they will be back. The only downside for me is that every time I have the tempura chilli prawns the portion size gets smaller and smaller. I was hungry by the time I got home!

    Superb food and excellent service: the cauliflower steak was perfectly seasoned and the couscous, salad, and red pepper and roasted tomato purée a delicious accompaniment; fellow diners had equally tasty dishes with the fish of the day (haddock) and one of the specials (roasted broccoli tagliatelle). Lovely puddings finished the evening off a treat!

    Fab find! Honestly the food and service here is amazing, we will definitely be returning next time we are up that way and will bring the rest of the family. Very tasty and faultless. Recommend the brisket for starter and the chicken burger!

    Excellent food. You often find a full English is either massive and greasy or small and good quality. Here it was both high in quantity and quality. The kids are pancakes with Nutella. Again nicely cooked and plenty on the plate. Really friendly, polite service. Lovely clean, bright restaurant. Not a cheap meal but definitely not overpriced. Thoroughly recommend it.

    The menu choices were excellent. We each chose a different meal and were very pleased. The grilled chicken breasts with Jack Daniel Sauce were delicious and the sweet potato chips amazing. The desserts were equally impressive the Rhubarb and custard cream was light and flavoursome. The perfect finish to our meal. Our waitress was very helpful and very efficient. We will definitely be planning a return visit.

    Came in for Sunday lunch, must say it is probably one of the best out there!! Had the pork belly and was amazing, the gravy is amazing too and certainly made the meal. And the star of the show is always their cheesecake, which is one of the main reasons we come to eat. Twix cheesecake this month.... say no more!!!!!

    Really lovely meal Thank you. My only criticism is it was very cold in there. Some heating would make all the difference. It would put me off returning.
