As usual- the BEST SPANISH WINE LIST in Boston and possibly New England. Food was fantastic and our server- Gabriella was on point, engaging and hospitable despite a very busy evening with little help. Can't wait to come back.
Way overpriced for tapas. Cheese plate was $16 and they were just little slices. Nice that they had a guitar player though.
Thank you for visiting Taberna de Haro. I'm sorry you found our cheese plate pricey. I respectfully ask if you have purchased high-quality imported cheese lately - over $22 per lb. We give 2.5 ounces of cheese (5 types; 1/2 an ounce each) which costs $3.44. To this plate we add marcona almonds & preserved quince, both from Spain, and a drizzle of honey, putting my food cost at $5.50, over 33%. Although this is an inadvisably high food cost, I choose to offer delicious Spanish cheese!

We had been looking forward to visiting for a long time. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and the wine list was impressive. Everyone we interacted with was gracious and knowledgeable. This was a real treat!

Food was decent, service was absolutely horrible. Waited 30 minutes for something to drink. Waitress never checked back in one time during the meal, just brought the bill about 75 minutes after we ordered. I will not return.

Love this neighborhood place. It's always busy- for good reason... great food, nice patio outdoors and lovely staff. While many restaurants are struggling to keep their service standards up in the face of hiring difficulties, TdeH really delivered. Will keep going back here!
Everything we ordered was awe-sum - shrimp, clams, pork skewers, meatballs, vanilla custard. Server Nicholas was attentive, funny, and made great wine suggestions for us. Outdoor atmosphere was busy but loose, super fun. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely dinner at Taberna de Haro! There was an acoustic guitarist in the restaurant which created a festive ambiance. We loved our dishes as well, with emphasis on the paella special. Their wine list was very extensive and the staff was very helpful in suggesting a wine that fit our tastes and price range. I will keep this on my list of special occasion restaurants!

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. I'm glad you appreciated our authentic Spanish cuisine and extensive list of Spanish wines, and I'm truly sorry you had an unsatisfactory service experience. I am the proprietor, and I am working extremely hard to hire new servers to sufficiently staff my restaurant. I'm sure you've seen the Help Wanted signs in the windows around Boston - we are all desperate to hire. Last year's crisis meant that our largest pool of applicants, the students, were absent from the Boston market. Another large and important source of applicants is the immigrant population that Boston normally welcomes with open arms, and they, too, have been missing from our population. The hiring crisis is real. The experience for you, our esteemed guest, is not what I ever designed. Servers should have a section of 5 or 6 tables on a given night. If I only have 4 servers to work, they each have 10 tables. I try and make up for this by assisting them in clearing tables, delivering food, serving wine, etc., but I am not always able to be everywhere. Servers have never worked harder - and have never been under closer scrutiny as diners are so eager to dine out and be served, understandably. The good news is the students are back and settled in to their new schedules, and I have hired 4 new employees to fill in the gaps, and give my hardworking, stretched-too-thin summer staff the relief they so deserve while also aiming to give my guests the service they are entitled to. (On several nights we closed off entire sections of tables so as to limit the number of guests and not overtax the staff, but sometimes on a Monday or Tuesday the numbers would unexpectedly creep up on us and we'd find ourselves in a bit of a jam. Meaning, we are prepared to be busy on the weekends and plan to limit, but may not think to do this on a Tuesday, when you came). Again, my sincerest apologies for the service lapses the other night. I hope you will give us another try in a few weeks when we are fully staffed and trained, for the first time in 18 months. I wish you well and hope to serve you again. The closest one can get to Spain and still be in Brookline. An excellent selection of sherries starts every meal off right.

The food was great. The service was amazing our server came at the perfect times very attentive staff. The menu was interesting and ever changing. The owner of the restaurant introduced herself to us very nicely although it was a busy night. Perfect place to celebrate or even eat casually. The drinks were amazing and it fits all settings. Highly recommend.
Great Food! The service was amazing, and the drinks wow! One of my new favorite places to eat. Lots of space inside and out! I found a parking spot right in front.
