A real gem with delicious, creative cuisine - thanks Table 28!!!
The food is fantastic and our server was good but the vibe has changed and it was strange. They tried to seat us in the hotel lobby at 5:30pm when the restaurant was empty but we insisted on being sat in the restaurant. Then when they took us into the restaurant there was only one other table in the back corner and they sat us right next to them - so much for social distance. The music was loud and they only played Kiss, scorpions, Van Halen, Def Leppard and so on. We requested to have it turned down but we’re told too bad because that’s they way the chef liked it. We’ve been there before and it use yo have a more relaxing pleasant environment. Now it’s just strange. I was grateful the good was still good, otherwise it would have been a 100 bust. Not sure we’ll go back. It was the first time my parents went a s I don’t think they’ll go back either because it was such a snarky environment. Sad that it’s changed so much.
Worst service ever! We were promised bread 3 times and never got it. We were in a corner in the lobby - horrible table.
Our waitress seemed uninterested in our enjoyment of meal. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
Amazing as always! Best part of our birthday stay at the Burgundy Hotel!
Food was good but not great. Appetizers were really good. Had the duck and a steak for the wife. Neither were extra special. We will probably try again and get something different. Atmosphere was nice and service was great.
We had a great evening at table 28. Loved the charred octopus. Terrell was excellent with his recommendations and service.
Food a d service was great as per usual.
This restaurant is a silent strong dining experience. The food was amazing and the service was spot on. For covid concerned diners (and we all should be) there was social distancing and masks on for all.
I wish there was a location like this in downtown - worth the trip out west!
One of the two best restaurants in the city. Chef Rains is an artist.
Perfect for a quite celebration night, good wine and great food.
Every course was excellent from appetizer to dessert! Our server Josh never let out drinks empty and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend for any occasion and we will defiantly be going back!
Food was high quality, well prepared and presented, and delicious.
As a chef, I want part of the experience to be the atmosphere. Lights were flicking due to a faulty dimmer and the table was wobbly, bad start. Service was right away. I began with the roasted sweet potatoe soup. Has a nice spice finish, the creme fraiche was a good touch, the croutons brought some texture to the soupe. Not a must have dish but if you order, not terrible. There are several "shared" dishes that looked interesting but I was dining by myself. Shame on chef Rains for letting the duck breast come out rare. It was room temperature and undercooked. I wasnt able to eat all the medallions and those I did attempt needed significant carving to remove the uncooked portions. The vegtables were well displayed. Unfortunbately only a few of them were seasoned so I consistently had bites with little taste. Some believe in second chances but it would take some convincing for me to come here again. Best of luck
Wonderful Food!!! Best waiter ! Owner is cheerful and Smile!!!
Went with my boyfriend and we loved it 10/10 worth it
Great experience! Loved the cucumber martini and the food was delicious
Food was ok. The Mac n cheese was cold and the chicken was very salty. Ambience is poor and tables are very low
Great first visit to the restaurant. Food and flavors were excellent. Ambiance was not as impressive for the price. Ordered three courses and wine for two people. Total of $147.
The food was amazing, unique and plentiful. The service was excellent and first rate. I highly recommend Table 28 for a wonderful dining experience!
Wonderful food and experience at Table 28. Food was delicious and we will definitely be back
It was awesome service and great food. Will be coming back for the greens!
the food was great. the server wore a mask. spacing was great.
Delicious food and drinks, outstanding service, pricy but worth it, environment was a little noisy and too bright, but nothing that would stop me from coming back .
The food was okay, which was a disappointment because it came highly recommended. The filet was tasteless.
The shrimp and grits was better. But overall a complete disaster and would not recommend.
Hidden gem...! Outstanding service, which adds to the savory and delicious surprises that await your pallet! If you have the time and want to experience excellent cuisine I'll highly recommend Table 28!
Everything was delicious, Especially the turtle soup that was the special for the evening
Kristin and Alex treated us wonderfully. Will tell our friends to dine at Table 28.
Always a great venue, although limited seating due to the pandemic. Pork chop was excellent, Great wine list. Enjoyable always.
This was our first real date night out in months so we went to one of our all time favorite places. The food, service and experience was fantastic!!
Passing through and stopped at Table28. It was a huge hit. Our waiter (did t catch his name but had gray beard) made great recommendations and they had a pretty impressive wine list and very tasty cocktails. We enjoyed the mushrooms and the artichoke dip. The filet was cooked perfectly and the flash fried Brussels sprouts were amazing. My wife had the shrimp and grits which she loved. The sticky bread dessert and 20 year tawny port were a spectacular finish. Hope we pass through again!
Service was exceptional but that was highlight. We were seated in pig portrait room. Love lights but too bright and sterile decor. I know we are in the middle of covid restrictions but for the money we paid, I except better ambiance. The food was not impressive for my guests. My duck was good but the steak and frites, paneed chicken and risotto were a disappointment. Wine list was good and the desserts were great!
Table 28 has excellent food and amazing service. I will definitely go back.
Food was amazing and service was exceptional. A must go to in Little Rock!!
Decent timing on the courses, good food temperature and wonderful flavor.
Thank you for the great review!!!
Because of pandemic-related seating restrictions, many diners are now being seated outside the actual restaurant, essentially in the hotel lobby. Not the fault of the restaurant management, certainly; but diners should be aware.
The waitstaff were great (though the waiter was no sommelier). But I’d rate the food as mediocre. I suppose the menu items were also restricted by COVID-19 issues. But meatloaf and a hamburger seem like odd choices for a place trying to put on airs. All of the prix fixe offerings were just regular menu items combined (for those who can’t decide for themselves?), and none was special: chicken, “risotto” (not sure what prevents it from qualifying as real risotto), and... you guessed it: meatloaf. There was no chorizo, quail, tuna, or the other interesting items on the normal menu. I had steak frites, which was a cut of meat I could’ve gotten at Edwards CashSaver on top of French fries that might’ve come from Burger King. And that is all. Oh, they did bring me some ketchup in a little condiment jar so I didn’t have to squeeze it out of the plastic bottle. Stay classy, Table 28.
All this and my date’s fish-n-grits for the paltry fee of $127 (including 4 drinks and a $8 dessert, but not including the tip).
Hello, I want to personally apologize for your last experience with us. Covid has really turned everyones world upside down. Chef has been working closely with more local farmers to try and get a better variety of product in. I would like to mail you a gift card to make up for the lack of quality or I could leave one at the front desk if you prefer. Again, my apologies and I hope you will give us another chance in the future.
We very pleased with the staff & safety measures put into place. The distancing was right on but seemed a lil depressing because of the serious virus & lack of livelihood. But we were sure glad to be out and about. It’s just a new of living. Our meal was all we expected it to be, SUBERB! Thx for being open!
Thank you so much for your review and your positivity!! We really appreciate it and look forward to serving you again in the near future.
Meal was outstanding, Sazerac well made, and service fantastic.
Thank you for the AWESOME review!!!!!!!!
It was a great experience. The food and service was excellent . Definitely will recommend to friends
We went there for my birthday, it was nice. The food was great, however the portions were a little on the same side. But the food was really great.
It was everything that I imagined and can't wait until my next visit.
Thank you for the OUTSTANDING review!!!!!
