Tallulah Wine Bar and Bistro

I love this restaurant! Whenever I am in town visiting my parents I meet friends for dinner here. Great ambiance, food and service. I have never been disappointed with this hidden gem in Birmingham.

Great food , service and wine selection. Great date night option. Had a salmon special that was excellent. Cozy atmosphere but not too loud.

Beautiful restaurant. Great ambience for a night out with my wife. I ordered the burrata salad and lamb ragout, both were ok. I was expecting a bit more flavor but, I do prefer dishes to be very well seasoned (salt). Wife had the ceasar (ok) and the tortellini which she absolutely loved. No bake cheesecake was awesome - very good. We did start with oysters which were very fresh. We sampled a couple of the east and west coast for the oysters.

Tallulah is one our favorite restaurants in Birmingham! The service is always impeccable, the food is outstanding and the ambiance is vibrant and festive no matter the season!

They did an amazing job making our anniversary special even giving us a free desert! The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Tallulah is our absolute favorite restaurant in town!! The bartender, Andrew, will make you feel right at home. Andrew knows his food and wine, ask for recommendations! After living in Chicago for 15+ years, I tell everyone that Tallulah would fit right in. It’s a must in my book.

This is a Bistro for wine lovers. The inventory of wines from around the world is impressive, and they are available by the glass or more. Add to that an impressive, diverse menu, and you have a very pleasant evening. Start with a well-poured drink, transition to an appetizing list of first course choices, and then explore a menu that ranges from steak all the way through to homemade pasta. Ours was a very pleasant evening, and I will be eager to return.

One of my favorite places to dine! Outstanding service and delicious food, always featuring great new specials.

Drink and food portions are small for their price. Tables are so close together that you feel like you’re part of another group at times. Bus service continually attempts to clear the table making you eat faster than normal. And given the tight spaces between tables the bus service is a continual disruption to the meal. Not a good value.

My wife and I enjoyed a great meal and service at Tallulah’s while celebrating her birthday!

Always lively, the service is spot-on & on occasion they serve-up some live music - which is perfect partner to round out an awesome evening.

The owner is usually on hand as well and like his Restaurant, he too is a class act.

I've been to Tallulah 3 times over the last year and they have yet to disappoint. Their wine list is huge and offers a great variety. Staff is friendly, smooth and well-informed. The ambiance is cozy and elegant. And the food is incredible. You can't go wrong with anything there. Great for special occasions or date nights.

We grabbed seats at the bar because anytime they’re available we love to enjoy conversing with Andrew & he just makes the most awesome cocktails & always leads us in the right direction for food & wine choices! We love Tallulah!

We enjoyed every part of our evening at Tallulah's. Our server was very helpful helping us choose dishes to accommodate a food allergy. The food was excellent and the presentation was wonderful. The only downside to the evening was needing to feed a parking meter!

We had a great time. There was a porterhouse special for two that was prepared just perfectly. Normally we enjoy this restaurant as is. The special was a real treat.

Love this restaurant! Great ambiance, food and staff.

I love Tallulah and would recommend it to friends in a heartbeat. The food is always creative and delicious. The only issue I have is when you have made a reservation and the restaurant is fairly wide open for seating, it is really pathetic for a hostess to direct you to a terrible table that should be removed because it is too small, too uncomfortable for diners, and ridiculous with an umbrella shoved in the middle of it. Our waiter was great. The hostess staff, in general, isn't ideal. Each time I have checked in at this restaurant, the hostess staff seems a bit rude as if they are waiting for celebrities to show up and wonder why we are standing in their way. Tacky for such a great restaurant.

Came here for our anniversary dinner and was thrilled with the menu selection, sever knowledge and chef's preparation.

Dinner was outstanding, with delicious flavors and beautiful presentation.
