Absolutely loved trying Tanya's incredible raw vegan menu. The service was great with everyone smiley and happy; the food was amazing - we ordered two mains and ate half each. The raw thai curry was mind blowing! I converted my boyfriend to the wonderful capabilities of raw vegan food. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately the service was very poor, we were served by a very moody waitress who made us feel unwelcome and ruined the experience for us. The food is expensive and there's a 12% service charge automatically added to be bill which would have been acceptable had the experience been positive.
Amazing ... amazing !!! Loved the food I wanted to eat everything !!! I went for the sweet option and I left feeling fabulous still as it wasn't sugar loaded !!! I have put it all over my Insta too as just loved it here
Very delicious food, quick serving, all vegsn. Friendly but not really a serviceminded or proactive staff member. A bit cold inside, due to open doors.
Tanya's is a lovely place! It is very cozy, the staff is friendly, the food is super tasty and very well presented. Definitely worth to check it out!
Really fabulous raw vegan food. Very fresh, interesting menu. A bit pricey and service was slow but very friendly.
We had such a great lunch that we returned the next day for a lunch again. Eating clean is quite challenging when travel but our trip in London was highlighted by eating at your restaurant and we always will recommend your business as a great destination for a healthy conscious visitors.
A lovely place for raw food experience. It was very nice and delicious. One the best vegan raw food restaurants in London! Love it!
I love the vibrant and organic decor! Really laid back and fun atmosphere but with enough privacy to feel personal! Helpful and friendly staff! Awesome hot drinks selection! Love the medicinal mushroom latte!
We loved this place! Wonderful, friendly service and innovative food that leaves you glowing rather than bloated. We went for dinner and enjoyed three delicious courses and cocktails. I'll definitely go back for brunch.
Good Raw food venue, with good choice of meals and organic wines. A little out of the way if on foot, but worth the effort.
Completely brilliant and ordered the non-cook book straight away as well as a take away for my supper!
Unusual location being in the back of a hotel, on entering it is easy to confuse it with the other restaurant in the hotel. Nice ambience and lots of plants in the café. You will get more out of this as an unusual café experience rather than dinner. Starters and dips were great, original and tasty. Mains were small and overpriced, alcohol is also expensive. Deserts were great. Go there for an unusual lunch snack not for an evening meal.
Lovely place, the food is great and the deserts are amazing. One of the few places where as a vegan I do not have to ask for a special dinner or look carefully at the menu looking for clues to see if the dish is vegan friendly. Highly recommended
Friendly attentive lovely setting and amazing raw food. Recommend to anyone
Lovely cafe with healthy options on the menu. Wide variety of smoothies and juices. Pleasant outside seating area. Attentive service.
A wonderful vegan raw food restaurant in a lovely hotel in South Kensington. I would highly recommend for somewhere a little bit different and fabulous food!
Great raw food, food was excellent and some lovely choices, we went in the evening and it did not have much atmosphere and unfortunately the service was not great, the waitress was pleasant but we had to keep asking for things.
Love love love Tanya's Cafe! I adore food, I adore my health and this combines the 2. If I didn't know this was all raw and healthy, I wouldn't have known! Truly lovely staff, truly brilliant service, and fantastic food. I even bought the book. Superb, highly reccomend 👏🏼
I was excited by the raw vegan menu - but the food didn't blow me away. It was good - but not amazing. The service was friendly and helpful. And I wanted so badly to love it. But it turned out to be a very expensive meal - and the two of us only had a couple of glasses of wine, a main each and one pudding to share. Would I go back? Probably not. But if I lived nearby, then I would pop in for a healthy breakfast or a teatime treat sometimes.
Absolutely delicious food and genuinely unique. Everything that was served was both tasty and beautiful. Outstanding service and extremely friendly.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great food, lovely cocktails and the red velvet cheesecake was amazing
Food and waitress were lovely, portions rather on the small side. What I don't like is the added 'service charge' or 'gratuity' in a vegan/raw restaurant - I thought only stuck up restaurants with bad service need to have this on their bill to secure a tip.
Found this gem and thoroughly enjoyed the birthday treat brunch for my sister in the sunny court yard. The menu is innovative and exiting and it all tasted delicious. Service relaxed and friendly. Nice interior. Excellent in every way.
Have been to Tanya's for breakfast and lunch which has always been good so deided to go for dinner this time with a friend. Onion bread was great and guacamole was very average although I am not sure why there was so much cumin in it, the lasagna was "OK", it seemed to lack something and I actually didnt finish it (the presentation was great though!). We ordered desserts from the fridge, my friend ordered the blueberry cheesecake which just didn't taste fresh at all, it actually tasted really awful, not at all like blueberries with a very odd taste and she sent it back. I ordered the salted caramel slice, I don't think that the fridge was cold enough. My friend ordered the salted caramel slice to replace the cheesecake and they kindly brought over 2 fresh pieces that came from another fridge and they were incredible - the original slice that I ordered from the aforementioned fridge was no way near as good as those fresh ones! Service is always bad in Tanya's, every time I go there they just aren't friendly and there aren't enough people around serving when you need to ask for something. The organic red wine was lovely!
Sadly there were only 3 other people eating in there and a larger group came later on and ate outside, there was no atmosphere, no music, I was really actually quite dissapointed given the good experiences I have had in the past with the food.
I will go back to Tanya's for breakfast/brunch/lunch as it's so much more buzzy and so much better during the day! For me, Nama is the number one place and their blueberry cheesecake is incredible!
The vegan food was amazing. Tasted incredible and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and would come back any time.
Very good vegetarian/vegan cafe with lots of options for the health-conscious! Would definitely recommend this place.
Food was great - very imaginative, healthy and lots of flavour. Service was incredibly slow.
Food was great but the service was appalling. We had to constantly remind the waitress of our orders and even then she managed to get the drinks wrong . The garden was lovely though and I look forward to going again - just hopefully when there are more staff working!
We ordered the bread with avocado and having guacamole with avocado is just too much avocado. Also, only one savoury option for brunch isn't really great and the food options were not very creative whatsoever. I think it's too expensive for what you get.
The only thing that was rather nice were the desserts.
I don't think I will go again.
P.S. Just to add, the staff was very friendly and sweet
I cannot even begin to explain how disappointed I was with the whole experience.
Absolutely no ambience, service completely lacking in enthusiasm or charm, and the food was probably the worst restaurant food I have experienced in a long time. As a vegan myself, and a fan of Tanya's book, I was pretty excited to visit, but I left thoroughly disappointed.
The food was obviously prepared hours ago, and served cold and limp, portions were ridiculously small and lacking any sense of freshness. The prices were extortionate. The menu extremely lacking. We left hungry, despite a hefty bill. I told the waitress we weren't really happy with the food, and she simply responded with a 'oh, I'm not sure why'. I support all businesses in the food industry that show a sense of passion and energy. But after this visit I felt extremely angry that I had to pay for such a poor evening out. Never again.
Tanya's is a really unusual eating experience as all the food is raw, as well as being fairly and gluten free. While it was good tasting, flavored were s bit unexpected. The juices were good and my friend enjoyed the courgette lasagne but the sweet selection was s bit limited and we had to elsewhere for coffee!!
The food is both healthy and tasty. It is possible to leave feeling full but not heavy at all (as if the food barely required digesting, including a dessert that did taste rich). The drinks selection was particularly nice and service was friendly & efficient.
The restaurant itself was not located in an easy place and it took as nearly an hour to find. When we got there, it was inside offices which was not appealing. The decor inside the restaurant was very nice and modern and the kitchen looked clean. When we got there, the waiter told is to sit anywhere and we chose outside. However, it was quite small and I felt very chrpsyaphobic. Our food came quite quickly. When our food came, it looked very colourful and the presentation was very impressive. However, the flavours did not go together and my salad was very watery. My mums soup was weak and tasted like a bowl of water with a weak flavouring and some random veg chucked in. The only ok part of the meal was the deydrated onion bread. Would not visit here as the food is not nice, too expensive and the atmosphere is not welcoming.
Amazing food. Presented wonderfully. Everything was so good!! We had the nori wrap and Thai curry kelp noodles-simple divine although the wrap was a little messy!! The desserts were on a whole new level though-red velvet cake was awesome and the salted caramel slice was decadent but SO HEALTHY ITS UNREAL! So cool how dessert can be healthy❤️service was a bit slow but the restaurant was not too busy so it was to be expected that the waitress thought she had lots of time to do other things. Not too bad though and I would go again in a heartbeat!
Went to this cafe for an experience and a small brunch. I ended up ordering a smoothie and an acai bowl (which i was really excited to try having seen them online). However, the smoothie tasted like water and the acai bowl was essentially a berry smoothie with a few fruits on top. There was no granola or substance to the bowl and for the price, that was extremely disappointing. I left the cafe as hungry as i entered, so i went to Nandos and ordered a meal there which i paid less for than my visit to the cafe and left Nandos satisfied! Overall the extortionate prices and the pathetic food means i will never return to Tanya's cafe.
The food was not what we expected but taking into account that it was our first try on vegan good, thats fair enough. The problem with our visit was, in fact, the poor customer service given by the waitress. My friend said that she did not enjoy of her drink and instead of offering something else or even apologising, the waitress took a defensive attitude, stating even that "its not our fault that some people dont understand the concept of our food". I enjoyed the salad as well as my drink but found this customer service very poor. After that, the waitress told to the owner the complaint and she didnt even bother to approach us. In fact, our table was avoided for the rest of the lunch and some unpleasant looks from the staff were even received. Would not recommend.
Went here for the first time last week with another vege. The food was delicious, especially the raspberry cheesecake. Perfect for some outdoor eating as although it was a little chilly as the evening went on there were really effective heaters to keep us warm.
A lovely (small) restaurant located in My Chelsea Hotel close to South Kensington tube station. They have a nice little patio to enjoy outdoor dinning. The menu offers a good range of vegetarian and healthy options, cold and warm. Fresh juices and smoothies are very good. All salad bowls and acai bowls are to die for!
100% organic and gluten free food, very enjoyable atmosphere, fantastic sweets without a bad conscience, great to eat healthy food
