Our waitress was excellent! I asked for her suggestion on a drink and she suggested pear Martini. I don't usually drink martinis but this was on the money! We got our food in a timely manner, considering it was a Saturday night.
My first time , food was delicious and most important staff were great !
This place has a good vibe - the food is outstanding - the sides were amazing.
Johnny is the best!!!!
Absolutely loved this place , food was amazing and our waiter “Johnny “ was such a sweet msn and took good care of us .
Probably the best sushi I have had in a long time .
Definitely plan to go back !!
The food, selection and service is the best.
Johnny is the best waiter ever!
This is my favorite Sushi restaurant in Providence. If I'm going out for Sushi I'm going to Ten Prime for sure. The steaks are great too and I've enjoyed everything we've ordered off the menu and I have been here many times with clients and no one has been disappointed. Also if you love Brussel Sprouts they do a great side dish. I highly recommend especially if you love Sushi.
Waited a substantial amount of time for drinks.
The time between ordering ,receiving ,a drink and ordering and receiving dinner was ridiculous. Not only did the food arrive separately but warm not hot..at all. Steak , skewers sent back .
Sushi roll was good . Will not go back.
Our dinner was amazing! My boyfriend and I enjoyed a bottle of wine, sushi, Lamb and Bacon wrapped Filet, as well as the creme brûlée - all fantastic recommendations from our waiter, Josh, who was attentive, cordial and funny. The manager sat us in a semi-private booth which was draped off from the rest of the restaurant which made our dinner more romantic. Overall, our dinner and experience was amazing and we would definitely return!
I celebrated my birthday here with a friend, and had a great experience. Wait staff was friendly, professional. Food was excellent, highly recommend the oysters there.
It had been a every long time since my last visit. It was as good as our last.
Thank you for a great evening!
The whole experience was very very good our waiter was excellent the food was very good if we had a wonderful seat next to the window I would definitely recommend this place and go back again
The food and service were great but I was frustrated after seeing on google reviews photos of special things they do to celebrate birthdays, and specified that it was my husbands birthday, they did nothing special.
My boyfriend’s birthday dinner with our friends. It was our first time there and everything was amazing! Thanks to Cheryl she was an amazing waitress!!
Food was great only problem was that I ordered my steak medium and it came medium well with really no pink in the middle.. otherwise the rest of the food was phenomenal as well as the service
My husband and I have been coming to Ten Prime for 10 years now and it always has been a solid choice. The food is always fantastic and the experience is always unique. In the past, we e noticed that it gets loud at night (in the evening around 8 PM) which never bothered us. This experience however, was not like that. Much to our surprise, the noise level was great. I wish I had gotten the name of our server, but she was absolutely fantastic. So sweet, attentive, pleasant, and was able to provide superb recommendations. We will absolutely return!
My wife and I ordered the $96 steak and were VERY disappointed. outback stake house or Texas roadhouse have better quality for the price we paid. The service was good, the $58 bottle of wine was also good. We also enjoyed the Sushi. I unfortunately will not be back, it's way overprice.
Ten Prime is a great find in the PVD area. We were celebrating a birthday and taking in a PPAC show on Valentines weekend and the service was excellent and timed to get us out and to PPAC before the show. Everything prepared by the Marty in the kitchen was perfect, especially the scallops. Our table loves sushi so we asked Nino to prepare us something off menu to showcase his talent and we were elated with his creations. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area and we have always been treated exceptionally well by all staff members.
The space had great lighting (not too bright, but not too dark) and a quiet atmosphere. The food was pretty good! The steak could have had better flavor in my opinion, but it was cooked perfectly. The scallops were amazing!
Our waiter Johnny was the best waiter we’ve ever had anywhere! Made our night so much fun!! Totally on point with drinks and food! Exceptional service. Amazing personality!! Love love love
Waited over 1 1/2 hours to get our food. I understand it was Valentines Day but couples who came in after us ordered, ate and left before we received our food. The waiter only came over once to say he was checking on our meals. We weren’t even offered a complimentary drink. The worse part of the whole night is when I saw the manager Jeremy and asked him to come over, he rudely said in the middle of the restaurant “yes I know we are working on it” . He never came over to talk to us. That is it good customer service. What saved the night was the food and being with the best wife in the world.
Our steaks were overcooked. They still tasted good but for the amount we spent were a bit disappointed.
My husband was working at the Providence Place mall late night and I met up with him to go to dinner. Although we weren’t familiar with a lot of the local restaurants, I found Ten Prime on open table and booked because of its close proximity. I have to say this is the best experience we’ve had at a restaurant in a while. We had a 10pm reservation so while the bar was busy, the dining area was quiet. We had no idea what to expect but the food was incredible and the service was fantastic! Our server Johnny did such a good job making recommendations and he was right on point. We started with the chowder as an appetizer. For entrees my husband had the meatloaf which was piled high on smashed potatoes and covered in crispy onion strings. I went for the filet au poivre with sides of creamed spinach and lobster Mac n cheese. To finish we had the oatmeal apple crisp and the banana bread pudding. Everything was so good. The restaurant is a hidden gem. Loved the ambiance. This is now our favorite restaurant.
Early valentines dinner and food and service was excellent
Amazing all around. Wife loved her birthday there.
I chose to sit at the bar to wait for my dining companion. The bar has a good, fun vibe. The two women to my right were chatting up the bartender and enjoying themselves. The two men to my right were enjoying a "Skewer Party" that looked like a lot of fun. I ordered one of their different takes on a Manhattan. For $16 you get two drinks (half poured into a carafe, carefully shoved into a Manhattan glass full of ice, the other half poured into a martini glass - go figure?!) and a delightful drink it was! Also strong - 3 oz. of good bourbon between the two. When my friend arrived, we moved to a table. Appetizers were salads for each of us. My Caesar salad was a new take with larger leaves laid down on the plate first, then smaller and smaller ones piled on top until there were 2 piles. That just left the smallest leaves to be filled with the dressing, cheese and 1 small anchovy per. It was a little skimpy on the dressing and I should have asked for more anchovies. My friend ordered a wedge with blue cheese. She said it was really skimpy on the blue cheese dressing - I honestly couldn't see any dressing at all from where I sat. We ordered more dressing. The main courses were meatloaf and mashed potatoes for my friend, and sushi "donuts" for me. At $20, the donuts were - cute, but not really much of a main course. Picture 2 round beds of rice (about the size of a packaged cookie) that have been formed or cut out into the shape of a donut. On top of that were a nice variety of thinly sliced sushi fish, placed all around to form a ring. It was pretty. And the sushi was very good. You got about as much as I think you should have in on a specialty roll. The meatloaf plate, on the other hand, was packed with mashed potatoes, 2 huge pieces of meatloaf, and thin, thin onion rings all over everything. It was beautiful and quite tasty. All in all, the food and drinks were good. The prices were a bit high for what you got. PS - the toilet paper crinkled.
Steak price on the high side. Probably would prefer capital grill over this place if my kids didnt like sushi so much.
Appetizer was an assortment of skewers 😐 all cold. Sushi was ok, $47 steak was overcooked and the Mac and cheese was flavorless and the brussel sprouts were so scary you couldn’t even eat it without making a face. The best thing we’re the oysters which didn’t have to be cooked. So what does that tell you?!?! 2nd time here. First time was better but probably wouldn’t give them another try because it was a pretty crappy meal for $200
Sushi was great. Bacon wrap filet was very disappointing. Would only return just to have their sushi.
Outstanding Service, attention to detail and Nino's sushi is out of this world.
The food, service and, vibe is great! We go here a lot and are never disappointed!
Forgot our drinks but they comped them for us. Sushi was very good.
Cool place and atmosphere. Had only sushi and it was ok. A bit pricey for ok sushi. Miso soup was very good.
After 15 years, this place never disappoints, great food, great service!
Decent place to try and would go back but nothing to fancy.
Too loud, too slow
