It is located in the heart of Chelsea-South Kensington, just opposite to Cambio De Tercio.
It’s all about Wonderful Tapas here, small dishes of traditional and modern recipes from our rich Spanish gastronomy, which are ideal to be shared by the whole table.
Busy and buzzy, with vibrant bullfighting colours and a party feel atmosphere that makes it a deal for any celebration.
Chosen by the New York Times- Herald Tribune as “One of the best five places to eat in London for a reasonable price”
Very arrogant waiter (bald guy with glasses). Refused our payment method and when asked "what if I didn't have another payment method" his response was "you have to pay anyway" in a very rude and disrespectful way. Then we said: "you lost a customer" and his very polite response was: "don't worry we have many". Well if you keep treating customers like this you are not going to retain many long term...
Below average value for money. Croquettes, tortillas and jamon are very good - cheeks disgusting and full of garlic
Wine list 5x on average retail price
Always an exceptional standard . Really well managed . Professional service (important with tapas) and delicious food . Great atmosphere . Always busy.
The best tapas in London. Cosy, amazing food and exceptional, friendly service - this restaurant is faultless.
Wonderful food. Such good ingredients. And the service is superb. Felt like I was in Madrid.
Much, much better, and sometimes cheaper, tapas to be had elsewhere in London. Here the food was ok, service prompt, atmosphere a bit flat. Very noisy due to tables very close together in a long line on one wall. We were rushed through our evening so that they could get the table back. I always hate that but this time, Open Table, you need to make it more obvious on the confirmation. It’s there but we hadn’t seen it so were annoyed to be presented with our bill whilst still eating and without having asked for it.
Great food! Enjoyed our dinner.
it is always good food, nice ambience and professional staff.
Very friendly & helpful service, right from our first arrival, all
the dishes we chose were delicious. We loved the decor & the
lighting. A lovely refuge on a rainy night in London
Great food, great wine, great staff
Great tapas place, great service, great food. Bruno is a real legend and very helpful when coming to wine choices
Nice food and wine. Service quite friendly. Prices reasonable for quality.
Buena, excelentes tapas. Ya conocía el lugar
Expensive bad services and low quality food
Great food great atmosphere. Really enjoyable evening.
Excellent food as ever and good place to see catch up casually with friends.
I’m a regular visitor. The food is reliably excellent. Their take on patatas bravas is a bit special. It is a bit on the expensive side (but that may be just me being greedy!) and it can get quite loud when crowded.
Absolutely love this restaurant. I am a local to the area and this is our favourite restaurant. We have been countless times and plan to be back countless more. Staff are amazing!
Had a lovely time here on saturday night. Lovely atmosphere. Wine was delicious, tapas was superb. Service was great, friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.
Loved this place. Great food and atmosphere. Going back soon
I absolutely love the restaurant and the tapas was amazing.
The reason I dropped the starts is regarding of the steak, we order medium rare and it came rare, so we sent it back and for my surprise they delivered the same plate like it was put in microwave, it was very disappointed. We made a complain to waitress and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. As it was the most expensive plain on the menu I thought they could at least send us a new dish. Unhappy with the service, I sent email to them and so far I haven’t received any feedback. Shame because it is a great place.
Absolutely incredible food, the service was really quick and the croquettas were so delicious we had to order a second portion. Will be back soon!
Yeraldin and Bruno were amazing. They always look after us. They make a difference
I went to Cambio De Tercio which is the sister restaurant before and I like it especially iberico pork.
However, I would like to try new things so I decided to try the sister restaurant with high hope on iberico pork, but turned out as big disappointment. The pork was grilled burnt and full of fat. I hardly found a part to eat it. Apart from that is ok, but not WOW.
Service and staff is very good, friendly.
Very nice environment! The staff is nice and friendly.
Excellent food, good wine and very nice team. Only one humble suggestion: no “ambient” music pls... Spain has plenty of original good music 😉
Great food. Great ambiance, cheerful staff.
I ve never been disappointed by this restaurant: very good tapas, efficient service not pushing for more spending, extensive wine list with good value for money ones and (a lot) more expensive ones. Definitely worth trying before drinks nearby afterwards.
Love everything about this restaurant!
Great place, amazing service & lovely food!
What really makes Tendido Cero a nice experience is the great service and genuine smiles from the staff. That and the great food of course.
Lovely food, portion size varied, great service from all staff. Great venue. Looked after very well, especially thankful the ice pack for my wrist having fallen over on my way there, subsequently found to be broken. Will return for sure.
Nice place, nice staff, cooking of food not as good as Kings Road restaurant
Did not like the staff attitude in regards to the sitting. Very rushed and not welcoming.
We arrived a little later than 7.30 but called the restaurant.
Our food arrived too fast. At one point I was still eating with my fork in my hand and my plate was taken. My partner was told to but food on his plate so they could remove a plate and bring another tapas. There wasn’t time to enjoy the food at all.
When I tried to slow things down a server would come over and ask is everything was ok..this happened at least 6 times.
At 8.45 we were told they needed the table and would move us to the bar if we wished to continue eating. No one else was at the bar. I asked for an espresso and the waiter just shook his head no. Although he did bring it reluctantly. By 9pm we were walking home. Such a shame that our night was deemed less worthy than another booking. Perhaps as we were two and the booking was large.
The food is good here as are the staff. I just left feeling let down and underwhelmed. It’s not cheap.
Still the best restaurant in London. My favourite. Unbeatable customer service, nicest staff and incredible food. Worth the prices.
This was my second visit to Tendido Cero. My first visit would have been 5 start across the board. Sadly, this second trip must have been a bad night. The bottle of wine we ordered was "out of stock", just annoying. While many staff are around, our main waiter was disinterested at best. He was was unable to make recommendations let alone describe the dishes on the menu. Nice ambience and great menu did not out weight the cold service.
First time back to tendido in a few years. The food quality has gone down. Within moments of ordering, food was dropped on the table making me question how fresh cooked it was. The bread was warm on the outside but cold on inside indicating it was premade and frozen. Not worth the money spent. The service was good although we were pushed to leave several times during the meal.
Easy: perfect dates + 2 years in a row = this is now our valentines’ restaurant! See you next year.. at the very latest 😊
The waiter / host was very good.
