Tendido Cero was our second project of Cambio De Tercio Restaurant Group, opened in February, 2001.

It is located in the heart of Chelsea-South Kensington, just opposite to Cambio De Tercio.

It’s all about Wonderful Tapas here, small dishes of traditional and modern recipes from our rich Spanish gastronomy, which are ideal to be shared by the whole table.

Busy and buzzy, with vibrant bullfighting colours and a party feel atmosphere that makes it a deal for any celebration.

Chosen by the New York Times- Herald Tribune as “One of the best five places to eat in London for a reasonable price”

The Tendido is under construction, so we had to go to the sister-restaurant across the road.
The prices do not represent the quality of the food. On average it is a good place, but a bit too pricey for what you get.

The restaurant is being refurbished and customers need to go to their sister restaurant across the road. Poor signage telling you such, nearly went home. They then give you two menus one for each restaurant. One expensive and one reasonable which suddenly became the most expensive tapas ever.

I haven't been to Tendido Cero for seven years. What a waste of many opportunities. It is as good as it has ever been. From a hasty and gracious change of table to the super-attentive service and wonderful tapas. I won't be waiting another seven years.

Staff was great from the time we entered to the time we left. Took extra special care of my nieces with some adjustments to their meals. No complaints on any of our courses.

Added touch was that my niece went to the washroom and at that same time they had a power glitch and the place went dark and she got scared and tried to get back to the table. Was in tears cause she panicked. Staff felt so sorry for her they brought her some chocolate truffles and caramel to sooth her discomfort. It helped.

Will definitely be back to this restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Too noisy and short space. Food is good but expensive for the quality and size. Better option to cross the street and go to Cambio de Tercio. The same management, but much better

Professional in all respects with great service - a deightful summer’s evening. Plus the tapas are intriguing and change regularly enough to keep you going.

We had a really lovely evening, the food was good, authentic and innovative, the wine choice wide and well priced, but I did find it very tiresome that the staff constantly interrupted our conversation to ask for things and speed us up. They did it with a smile, but I my books that is not enough. If we had been in Spain, the waiters would have kindly waited for us to finish your sentences before stepping in.

Superb meal. The lamb shoulder was delicious, as was the fresh grilled asparagus. Charming service. Fantastic white Rioja (though not cheap). All round great!

Service too urgent, at one point i was still chewing my food and the waitress took the plate from under me, too expensive also, bigger portions perhaps for that price!!

What a find!
Loved everything about it and my date was over the moon. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were beyond my expectations.

Highly recommended and I think I found my new regular.

Well done!

I was meeting up with friends in Kensington and having had a wonderful meal over the road previously I thought we would try the tapas bar. We tried sherry and ordered olives and boquerones. The olives were particularly good. All the remaining tapas were excellent and service was efficient and friendly.

Overpriced and the quality of the food was low! Service was ok. We were very surprised to be charged for bread twice. It is true we asked for more, but such a shame to charge the client twice!

Fabulous as always, Tendido Cero! The service is impeccable, the food delicious; the wine list is extensive and on the pricey side (you can easily pay for one bottle what you'd pay for a meal - or much more), but that is reflected in the quality of the wines on offer. We had a great evening!

Our son introduced us to Tendido Cero, while he was living and
working in London. He has since moved back to the US,
but we still come here when travelling to London.

It's a keeper!
