It is with a very heavy heart, but also a lot of happy memories, that we have taken the tough decision to close the doors at Terroirs Central, for good. It has been an amazing journey, and we have made so many friends along the way. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 13 years…from our amazing team to our beautiful guests, we literally couldn’t have done it without you!
For anyone panicking about charcuterie withdrawal, or a natural wine fix, rest assured that Terroirs East Dulwich and Soif (Battersea) will continue to trade as normal and the teams there, supplemented by some familiar faces from central, will look forward to welcoming you.

Don't listen to the fake news; no oranges have died in the making these wines. Skin macerated or 'orange' wines are made in the style of a red wine, though technically 'white' as made from white grapes. Instead of pressing and removing the skins, as you would for whites, they are left on to ferment and to macerate. This ancient style of winemaking, originating from Georgia, imparts the tannins, phenols and colour pigments of the skins to the wine transforming its flavour and texture and giving it a golden, amber or outright orange hue

We are keeping our fingers crossed as it became our go to place for any special occasion. It had bags of ambience and the staff were amazing. The food and wine is so perfectly cooked and put together, with a delicious natural wine selection. We have learnt so much from the Soif staff and will for now have to venture a little further for their yummy menu. overall4food5service4ambience4 Really liked Terroirs. Very good food and drinks and attentive and friendly staff. My only disappointment came from a misunderstanding upon arrival regarding the booking and the time the table needed to be vacated. Apart from that very good experience.Is this helpful?

overall1food4service1ambience3 Made a reservation online, when we got there we were told the reservation is only for 1.5 hrs. Got asked to leave after 1.5 hours and the manager said that people are waiting for our table - this was a lie- our table and the one next to us stayed empty after we left. Food, wine and service were outstanding as usual - I would offer up a highlight from the food/wine lists, but it would be like Sophie's choice. Booked a table to celebrate a birthday and the owner was so sweet to remember, the service answered our every question, and the natural wine we had and food was spectacular. overall5food5service5ambience5 Terroirs has long been a favourite place to m(eat) friends. It is truly wonderful to have it re-opened. Yesterday's lunch was possibly the best I've ever enjoyed there--and that is saying something. The service if anything was even more efficient and friendlier than ever..perhaps reflecting the general delight in being back. And in these Pandemic times both of us felt completely safe!!
