About Thai Square Putney
Amongst the youngest in the deservedly popular Thai Square chain, Thai Square Putney enjoys a prime spot adjacent to the bridge. But it’s not just the picturesque location that attracts the buzzy, well-to-do crowd. There’s the exotic cocktails served in the bell-adorned entrance bar, and then there’s the fantastic food served by friendly staff in the light, airy dining room above. The menu consists mainly of familiar Thai restaurant staples, including pad thai noodles, cracking curries (red, green, yellow, roast duck) and pan-fried dishes. The exclusive dishes deserve particular attention, especially black cod in a wonderful chu chee sauce topped with coconut cream. The vegetarian section is impressively long. A strong wine list features organic choices. A great value Thai experience.

Thai Square Putney Ratings and Reviews
We have been going to this restaurant for 4 years now. We hold it as our special place to eat when we want a special time. We are a family of 4 with a 13 and a 10 year old girls. We keep going back because from the moment you arrive you will find the kind hostess and the whole service is a relaxing and very comfortable experience. The quality of the food is superb and location is stunning. Right in front of the river and Putney Bridge. We don't get used to it and we love going back.
I booked For 4 girls for my birthday two days ago and we loved it. The restaurant wasnt too hard to find. I was looking for a restaurant with a great view and fancy interior decor and Thia Square Putney did not dissapoint. The food was also great not pricey at all and filing. Would definitely recommend and go back again real soon.
We went to Thai Square for a friends birthday, there was 9 of us. When booking initially the restaurant was so helpful as I wanted wanted to pre-order some cocktail jugs as a surprise for my friend. I also needed to amend the table numbers twice which was never made to be a problem. We all ordered the 3 course set menu, and the food was delicious, amazing! The service was great, very friendly and helpful, drinks were lovely also. The view out out to the river is gorgeous and in the evening the downstairs turns into a small bar/club area with a DJ which was a really nice end to the evening. I would definitely recommend Thai Square to anyone!
Well where do I start, reminder from restaurant to confirm booking. Were a few minutes late but not a problem. Happy hour was a nice surprise - some cocktails, Selected beers for 3 bottles for £10. Yes. Birthaday celebration. Went for the mixed starters great taste portion size. Pad Thai was is a graet dish to have and the jungle curry was spicy but if you like really hot is was mild. Potions of food was just right - no space for afters. Great service, friendly, attentive, good recommendations. Have passed this venue so many times looks too expensive to attend - will def be going here again. In summer the views of the Thames must be great.
Drink deal before 8pm where cocktails are $5. Very worth it because all of our drinks were delicious! As for the food, it was good but not great. Stay clear of the curry simply because there are better options on the menu
Service was absolutely stellar - walking to our table to water refills - the staff were very accommodating and attentive.
We celebrated my birthday with 10 people - the service was amazing, the food is always delicious (especially for the prize). We had dinner during happy hour, their cocktails are great as well. they allowed my friends to bring a birthday cake for me and the crew even sang for me.
We would always go back - and recommend to friends.
I booked the restaurant to celebrate my birthday & even though my guest was late for my booking the restaurant still kept my table & was very understand. The quality of food & cocktails where amazing & all my guest enjoyed their meals. The customer service was lovely they was very pleasant & inviting.
I have lived in Asia and the food is fine, not hawker style but usual restaurant pan-asian range. Prices normal. Drinks very good value on happy hour. Great view over the river, fun to watch the boats and people, ask for a river seat in booking. Quite busy and popular, mixed vibe, some families in early, not posh restaurant vibe. Will go again for sure. South London doesn't have a lot of good Asian, I usually go into town, or out further, so this is handy for me too as near tubes and train, buses etc.
