Good atmosphere and amazing food. Nice staff, service a bit slow.
We had a great dinner in family and I could see myself going back for other occasions
Food excellent, especially recommend the squid. Busy even though early evening but service efficient and friendly.
It was great as always, chicken satay and the curries are very good. Always ask about spiciness levels to avoid any unpleasant surprises!
I love going to Thai S.. I always enjoy the taste of each dish. It has an excellent location and the staff is efficient.
Lovely venue and great food, service was slow and alittle poor understanding of their own drinks menu! Oh and a wobbly table which I mentioned and to which she replied I will fix but that never happened!
Never fails to deliver. Great value for money, attentive staff best meal of a long weekend. You won't be disappointed.
Good grub👍🏼good surroundings
I would avoid this restaurant as the staff were rude and ignorant. We made a reservation for 11:15 pm, and I would point out at this point that 11:30 pm was also a readily available option. We were in a taxi to the restaurant, when due to traffic congestion, it became apparent we would be late, we duly called ahead to inform the restaurant and that we would still dine at the restaurant. We were abruptly informed that if we did not arrive by 11:30 pm, we would not be served.
When we questioned this, as we could have booked 11:30 pm instead had we known the traffic would be problematic, we were told that the staff wanted to go home.
We arrived at exactly 11:31 pm and we were rudely told that the kitchen staff had gone and therefore they would not honour our reservation. There were only a couple of other diners present, so they were having a quiet evening, but having called ahead and incurring the taxi fare to reach the restaurant, we were far from impressed. This business should not advertise availability if their staff are more interested in themselves than their customers.
I am a regular diner at Thai Square Minories, which is a fine restaurant, but Thai Square Trafalgar Square is the complete opposite and truly appalling. My friend who had flown in that evening is a senior executive who travels the world with his job, and he simply could not believe the attitude of the staff.
Lovely food and good service in a central location.
A very pleasant restaurant. Food delicious. Service very good. Cocktails more ice than alcohol though!
Enjoyed an excellent meal for two. Plenty of menu choice. The food was of a high quality and presented well. We were able to sit earlier than our 8pm booking which was good of the staff to let us do so.. I have always had a good meal at Thai Square and can recommend it for reliable quality and varied choice.
The food is a bit overpriced and not fully traditional thai food. We are all slightly disappointed with the dishes. We would not go there anymore. But the atmosphere was fairly good.
Food was very good although slightly overpriced. Wine options were also good and priced fairly (not $90 for two glasses!!!).
I come to Thai square a lot however the waitresses on that night came across very rude. They waiters however were pleasant.
I received a voucher from Thai square before I came to the restaurant. After they made a bit of a fuss, they wouldn’t process the voucher as I had not shown it to them upon arrival. Other restaurants would have processed it regardless as a show of good customer service.
Absolutely first class Thai food. The location is excellent and it deserves to be busier. It is a bit on the expensive side, but it is well worth it. I've never had a bad meal here.
Food was wonderful and the service was good too. This was a go to place when I lived I the UK. I was happy to find that the food and service were exactly as I fondly remembered.
Just a regular Thai meal but crazy prices
£24 for a very average chicken jungle curry ..didn't even include the rice !
I know its on Trafalgar Sq but even so it's just not good value
When I arrived the restaurant didn't have my booking and then sat me in the corner of the restaurant which was cold. I was expecting two other friends to join me for a pre theatre dinner. I didn't make a fuss but what's the point of booking. The food was average but this is a chain so would not usually use it we hadn't been going to the theatre. I personally will not be using it again.
Really enjoyed our dinner, best thai since I visited thailand a few years ago!
I have been to the Charing Cross branch often. The food is great tasting although ours was not very warm on this occasion.
They need to slow down in picking up dishes and allow people more time to finish, otherwise the ambience is great and we had a good table.
I go to Thai Square in Windsor a lot & Trafalgar Square was nowhere near as good and much more expensive. I guess it’s more expensive as it’s central London. It was still pretty good though and very easy to book a table on the day.
Great place, great vibe, chilled out, great service and excellent food.
Everything in this restaurant is really tasty. We've been there several times and always left happy. A nice room and a very friendly service.
Very poor meal, poor service especially for the price.
Unfortunately, I did not have the high level experience that I am used to at Thai Square. It was a very cold evening and the restaurant didn't have the heating on. Many people had their coats on! The tamarind duck that I ordered wasn't great. It's a shame as I used to enjoy this particular branch of Thai Square. I recently went to Thai Square in Angel and the food was on point.
Booked a table at short notice on a Saturday and was extremely pleased. Absolutely first class Thai food. It is a little expensive but this probably reflects the location and is well worth it. I picked it at random, but now that I've found it we will definitely go back.
Great table service but was hard to attract their attention when not serving food. Surroundings are very sumptuous but paying a premium for them as the food was good but didn't have the wow factor.
Set meal was a little disappointing as the food wasn’t hot which was strange. I’ve always liked Thai Square and regularly attend the Islington branch, the food is lovely and has never disappointed me before.
Lovely restaurant- bright, airy, great for business lunch. Food great too.
Nice central place to have a Thai meal. Not the best in town foodwise though. Good service despite it was very busy.
Food was really good, affordable nice mid week dinner place
I have visited Thai Square in Trafalgar Square on many occasions, the experience is always nice, this time the food was above and beyond. Love it!
we have been to thai square before as we enjoyed that and as we were going to a theatre we decided to go again it was very good the service is good the girls dressed in thai fashion added to it and the food is excellent my wife had the pad thai which to die for i would have that next time
We had a great night. Food was really good considering they had set menu for New Year’s Eve.
The service was on point too.
We have been to Thai Sqare before and we never got let down.
Great restaurant and the decor is amazing.
I was rather disappointed by the service that was provided by Thai Square, when I initial made reservations with open table there was no mention of set menus for NYE, however when I got to the restaurant I was handed a NYE set menu, I informed the waitress that I wanted to order from the A la Carte menu as I do not eat meat or dairy and all their set menu for NYE had meat in their dishes, she then said to me if I order from the A la carte menu than I will only get an 1 hour and 10mins on the table, furthermore they left us waiting to order our food for over 25mins, I observed other diners being waitered to whom came in after us. I had to call the waitress to then complain about the fact they want us off the table and yet they choose to completely ignore us and not take our order. I refused to rush my dinner in the time frame of an hour as nowhere on their website or opentable did it stipulate that if I order from their main menu than I will have a time ristriction. I expected better service from a place with a reputation as they have it’s not exactly a cheap and cheerful restaurant where you expect low level service. We spent double the amount on our dinner for two people which roughly came up to £189 when ordering from their A la Carte menu than their £42 set NYE menu and they gave us poor services! It put a damper on our night out to celebrating NYE, but food was nice.
Very pleased with the food great place would defo go again
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and drinks! Only qualm was we were rushed through all our courses.
Have been twice now, separated by about three years. This my second visit was truly extraordinary. Maybe I was just really hungry but every flavour was to die for. Best red curry I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
Delicious food , nice ambiance, great service, from the starter to the mains and the desserts.
We went there for my birthday last night and had a great experience. The service was friendly and the waiters were smiling, always ready to help. We ordered prawn crackers, the chicken satay and butterfly prawns as starters - both were tasty, especially the prawns. For mains I had chicken green curry (I asked it to be made less spicy and they obliged) and coconut rice, this was the best Thai meal I had in recent years! Both were very tasty - strongly recommend! The chi goong (misspelling this one) was a prawn curry that my husband ordered and he really liked it too. I also enjoyed the jasmine tea.
Overall, lovely and tasty meal and I will definitely be going back for that green curry!!
