Thai Tho - Soho
Really peaceful restaurant with great tasting food. Service was polite but could have been a little more attentive. We'll definitely be back
Super friendly staff, quick service and good food. ideal for pre theatre.
We were there on a Sunday afternoon as part of my son's 30th Birthday celebration. The staff were very nice ,however not enough of them! The service was a bit slow but it wasn't that annoying. There was no problem with us bringing birthday balloons and cake and the staff even dimmed the lights and brought the cake out when I asked😁.No charge for bringing our own cake!!! Apparently some restaurants do that😏Overall a nice experience. Thank-you .We'll visit again.
Several visits here....its excellent.....right in the heart of London.....great food, good service, what's not to like.
See you again soon when in London and want a Thai meal
Food was really, really tasty. Great for pre-theatre. Only down side was a lack of music to create any ambience upstairs.
Quick service and very kind staff. They tried to meet all our needs and special requests. The food was also very good!
I already booked it for next week again!
Food was fine however the service was very disappointing - we were one of a number of tables who had to ask for our order to be taken and ask repeatedly to pay the bill. Majority of waiting staff were operating a ''head-down'' policy where they were not engaging with any diners unless they were explicitly called or waved down. The restaurant was not very busy while there was a large number of staff in situ, so was quite disappointed with this.
Fabulous fresh authentic Thai food. Excellent range of choice and food cooked to perfection
I recently attended Thai Tho as a previously undiscovered venue for a Business Lunch.
The service let the place down a bit sadly, with only 1 waitress looking after the 5 tables including our 5 person table it meant a slightly longer wait inbetween courses however it was early Jan and I presume there would normally be more help.
I can't express enough how well cooked and delicious the food was and I am a major lover of Thai food so the standards are pretty high. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. I'll certainly be back.
Great food, lovely looking venue
Food was generally good (although my noodles had to go back as they were cold) - service a bit hit and miss. Generally friendly though. Nice place for a quick meal.
Great place for tasty food and quick service for a pre-theatre meal.
Very quiet and slow service. Food not As good as other Thai tho restaurant and portions seemed smaller. No disabled access
Very tasty food
Went as a pre theatre meal, great location and very good value for London, good food, service was a bit iffy, staff were lovely but we seemed to be forgotten about. Probably just a genuine error, but effected the night overall. However would go back if in the area again.
Nice food and services.
It was very noisy around our table because the waiters were putting dishes into the boxes very aggressively.
Sound typical Thai fare in good proximity to a number of West End theatres. A pity about their wine list which is weak.
Food was served very quickly once ordered but it took a while to catch the attention of the staff. Food was of good quality so would recommended the place
Service was awful!!!
Nice casual Thai restaurant, recommended if you want a relatively quiet atmosphere in the middle of the noisy city centre
Lovely ambiance and friendly staff. Unfortunately a soup was delivered cold and then 3 starters were also delivered cold. Asked for a 20% discount but received a 15% discount. Perhaps it was a bad day but I wouldn’t rush to go back.
Birthday treat for Boyfriend
This place has a very lively vibe, with lots of Thai customers. The cocktails are nice and the staff are really friendly and charming. It does NOT have the feeling of the tired west end tourist trap. The food is standard Thai fare but well executed and tasty. I would definitely go there again.
Food was more like Chinese than Thai and was poor quality. Limited wine list. We ate downstairs which is dark and lacked atmosphere. Waiters were unable to communicate properly. My friend and I were the only customers in the restaurant so need not have booked! Had TV on! Not a. Ice experience and wouldn't recommend
Great restaurant , good service, air conditioning very welcome as it was a very hot day. comfortable, clean, the food was delicious ..
Just opposite the Adelphi theatre where we had booked a show. Great choice of food and we were not disappointed with anything.
Great value, not too busy and good service.
I wasn't expecting much for a restaurant just off Shaftsbury Avenue but I was really surprised by the quality and taste of the food, especially considering the very reasonable prices for that part of the West End. Service was friendly and well balanced (immediately there to help or to take an order but not over-attentive). Food arrived promptly and was of very good quality. Very happy to go back there
I took my wife to Thai Tho for her birthday as the pictures on the website gave the impression of a cool, modern looking place that offered great Thai food.
What we got was a fairly average looking place that served standard Thai that I could easily get from local take away.
Nothing special yet nothing poor either.
Really lovely service and food. Excellent location - went to the theatre before our meal. Great find, would recommend
Very good curry and kind services ...
Restaurant upstairs should be mentioned for people with difficulty... but good experience to discover this restaurant !!
I recommend it
Good food bit a bit too much salt .. felt like drinking lots of water after the meal. The service is very slow.
Very convenient location for theater goers (we were going to see a show at the Queen's Theatre which is directly across the street).
Good food, wasn't very busy.
Good food and very helpful in providing s downstairs table as I was on crutches. Good pre theatre option
Food tasted good but was cold/lukewarm. Restaurant was very cold. Brought starters and mains out together.
Thailand may be described as the land of smiles - Thai Tho Soho certainly can't. We have been here many times and food is fairly consistently good, however service on this occasion was well below par. The two ladies on duty barely looked at us when ordering and their attitude and lack of friendliness really needs to be addressed. It resembled what you'd expect in nearby Chinatown, but should not be accepted in a Thai restaurant of this standard. Well done to the kitchen though.
The service was really slow and very unfriendly. Food was good but not enough to overcome the poor service.
Nice red and green thai curry. The venue feels a bit tired though
This restaurant is amazingly central in Soho - great for pre/post theatre with good food at a reasonable cost given the location. It was very quiet until around 6.15pm and then got really busy, so it's worth booking ahead. The restaurant is upstairs, we had a seat by the window where you could see the buzz of soho.
Great little spot that never fails to impress. fantastic food at a reasonable price
