Thai Tho - Soho
Food was more like Chinese than Thai and was poor quality. Limited wine list. We ate downstairs which is dark and lacked atmosphere. Waiters were unable to communicate properly. My friend and I were the only customers in the restaurant so need not have booked! Had TV on! Not a. Ice experience and wouldn't recommend
Great restaurant , good service, air conditioning very welcome as it was a very hot day. comfortable, clean, the food was delicious ..
Just opposite the Adelphi theatre where we had booked a show. Great choice of food and we were not disappointed with anything.
Great value, not too busy and good service.
I wasn't expecting much for a restaurant just off Shaftsbury Avenue but I was really surprised by the quality and taste of the food, especially considering the very reasonable prices for that part of the West End. Service was friendly and well balanced (immediately there to help or to take an order but not over-attentive). Food arrived promptly and was of very good quality. Very happy to go back there
I took my wife to Thai Tho for her birthday as the pictures on the website gave the impression of a cool, modern looking place that offered great Thai food.
What we got was a fairly average looking place that served standard Thai that I could easily get from local take away.
Nothing special yet nothing poor either.
Really lovely service and food. Excellent location - went to the theatre before our meal. Great find, would recommend
Very good curry and kind services ...
Restaurant upstairs should be mentioned for people with difficulty... but good experience to discover this restaurant !!
I recommend it
Good food bit a bit too much salt .. felt like drinking lots of water after the meal. The service is very slow.
Very convenient location for theater goers (we were going to see a show at the Queen's Theatre which is directly across the street).
Good food, wasn't very busy.
Good food and very helpful in providing s downstairs table as I was on crutches. Good pre theatre option
Food tasted good but was cold/lukewarm. Restaurant was very cold. Brought starters and mains out together.
Thailand may be described as the land of smiles - Thai Tho Soho certainly can't. We have been here many times and food is fairly consistently good, however service on this occasion was well below par. The two ladies on duty barely looked at us when ordering and their attitude and lack of friendliness really needs to be addressed. It resembled what you'd expect in nearby Chinatown, but should not be accepted in a Thai restaurant of this standard. Well done to the kitchen though.
The service was really slow and very unfriendly. Food was good but not enough to overcome the poor service.
Nice red and green thai curry. The venue feels a bit tired though
This restaurant is amazingly central in Soho - great for pre/post theatre with good food at a reasonable cost given the location. It was very quiet until around 6.15pm and then got really busy, so it's worth booking ahead. The restaurant is upstairs, we had a seat by the window where you could see the buzz of soho.
Great little spot that never fails to impress. fantastic food at a reasonable price
Went here for valentines day dinner with my wonderful wife .
Nice cosy restaurant with good ambience.
Food was good and hot and staff left you alone without the harassment to place your next order or asking if you've finished.
Would go back again and would recommend the visit.
Food was very good we enjoyed our evening , service could have been a little quicker bit other than that no complaints at all
It is located at a very prominent location. Reasonably priced for the location. Food was good and service reasonably fast.
The food was excellent and good value. It is ideally situated for the Theatre.
Avoid busy times, such as Saturday dinner.... the restaurant was understaffed an it took us 30 minutes to get drinks at our table!! Drinks arived only after we said there was a pregnant woman with us.... Food is tasty but very straightforward.
Extremely tasty food and great value in a nice setting. Very handy for theatreland and the West End.
Good food, great pre theatre venue. Nice Thai option in Chinatown
Came here for a quick lunch before a show - wonderful lunch menu, great value for money, friendly and efficient service and decent wine options. Will definitely come back.
My friend and I got earlier that our reservation time, since it was quiet , there was no problem to get a table.
Our server took our order , and 20 minutes pasted and another server came by to asked us what we have ordered, food took quite a while.
The food was excellent the service wasn't , and top of that and the time of paying the bill a 20% tip was included on the bill.
When she talk to our server , she said it was optional , it didn't seem to be that way , that's ilegal .
Overall , good food but terrible service and beware of the final bill, you might pay the 20% of your bill , that according to then was optional.
Our 1st visit was a very busy evening at Thai Tho where the staff were catering to another booking they had of 30+ people. Sadly our service completely fell by the way side as a result, it took an hour for our 2 plates of food to arrive and one of the dishes was cold.
These things happen, however i do wish the staff had forewarned us better with what was going on. If we had dined an hour later we probably would have had a better experience.
The hot meal was good.
Good place for good Thai food, convenient for theatre.
Great food before the theatre with quick and pleasant service. The food was delicious and we were in and out within an hour to move onto drinks before the theatre.
Service was very slow! Good took forever to come out, my dish was a little cold when I got it.
Really good food. Very pleasant setting. Particularly convenient for Gielgud Theatre.
Excellent service, friendly staff and good ambience
Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly although we had to chase them on our drinks and some of our dishes a couple of times. A couple of our dishes never turned up so we had to ask for them to be removed from the bill, but as we'd had an enjoyable evening overall this didn't spoil our experience.
Nice and convenient before a play across the road in the Guilgud theatre
Make sure you go upstairs, not into the restaurant downstairs which is a completely different establishment. Fast service, plenty of variety on the menu and friendly, efficient service. Great location too!
My partner and I, booked Thai Tho, based on the great reviews and reasonable price for food. As we entered the main entrance we began to tell the waiter we had a booking, only to be interrupted and placed on a dirty table in the front of the bar. He then left, and came back, cleaned the table and dropped off menus, without acknowledging us nor speaking. He then returned behind the bar, and used his phone. We felt very awkward and unsure if we were welcome, attempted to make eye contact with the waiter, eventually gave up, and we left. This was so disappointing, as thai is our favourite cuisine. And being new London, this wasn't the greatest start particularly in such an upbeat and renowned area.
Great food, average service. I wouldn't eat here if I was in a rush, but it was great for a long dinner catching up with friends.
Very good food and nice venue. Staff is quite slow but friendly
Food was really good. Good value for money and staff were very nice.
Staff very pleasant & courteous, quick service and food served nice & hot.
