About Thai Tho - Soho
Located just off of Shaftesbury Avenue in London's theatre district, Thai Tho is a much-loved Thai restaurant known for its high quality cuisine, high-profile clientele and super friendly service. Situated on Rupert Street, Thai Tho is ideal for pre-theatre snacks and post-theatre meals with friends, and it's also a popular spot for business lunching and after-work cocktails with colleagues. The staff at Thai Tho are particular with their produce, and ingredients are flown fresh from Thailand each week. Pad Thai fans and curry junkies will adore this restaurant, and we love the red duck curry with pineapple, lychees and coconut rice, and the deep-fried salmon in a sweet and sour sauce.

Thai Tho - Soho Ratings and Reviews
Amazing food. We arrived early and it was empty but soon filled up. We love Thai food and this was amazing. I'm not however a fan of automatic service charge on your bill. The service was excellent but I would rather leave a tip than have a service charge forced on me. Overall recommended highly if you love Thai food.
I booked the Thai Tho for lunch to meet with my sister who was in London for the weekend , we were meeting for the afternoon .....
We both chose the lunchtime menus and had the mixed starter and the Thaigreen curry with chicken. It was so delicious, freshly cooked and beautifully served. . A lovely lunchtime portion .
The staff were so lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome. We sat for a while over a pot of Jasmine tea and we did not feel rushed in any way.
I would definitely go there again and highly recommend it to friends.
The location to Piccadilly Circus is perfect.
We had booked a table at 8pm after visiting a theatre and arrived 15 minutes early, which wasn't issue with Thai Tho and we were seated immediately.
The menu is varied and not too expensive for London.
The food and service was excellent and I recommend this restaurant if you want lovely Thai food.
We have been to Thai Tho on several occasions before, usually for a pre-theatre meal. We were in London for the weekend and had originally booked a table for Saturday evening prior to going to see The Elephant man (Bradley Cooper was amazing BTW). However, on a whim, we decided to go to Thai Tho on Friday night as well. As ever, the food did not disappoint - the chicken wings starter were the best chicken wings I have ever had - really, and I know my wings!!!! Also had the deep fried squid, duck and pancakes, beef salad, and coconut ice-cream for dessert. The second night, we had the fish cakes starter, prawn toasts, chicken wings (again), fried broccoli with garlic, and green chicken curry and coconut rice, and coconut ice-cream for pudding again. I used to have the orange sorbet but the ice-cream is my new favourite if you are not too full by then. The food was served quickly and was fresh, hot, delicious and amazing as always. I feel that the prices are reasonable for the Soho area, but might seem a bit high if your budget is limited, although the quality of the food is well worth the money. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for chilli-lovers as some of the dishes can be very hot. You must try the chef's special starter of deep fried soft shell crab, it is awesome. Can't wait until our next visit when in London.
About a 10 seconds walk from Criterion Theatre, I took my boyfriend for his birthday before going to see 59 steps. The food was really yummy - loads to choose from as well! I told them it was my boyfriends birthday and they helped me to pay discretely as I wanted to treat him. I brought a little cake which they arranged on a plate and lit my candle for me - they helped to make the occasion really special! They were also helpful in picking out shots :-) Couldnt fault the place.
I came here with my sister and mother on 4/12/2014 for my mums birthday meal, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I gave them a birthday cake and candles for after the meal which they kindly did without my mum knowing.
The food was fantastic! We all had a starter and main which was delicious! Would highly reccomemd this place to anyone!
Went here as a small group and shared starters and mains between us. Good size portions and tasty food, I'd recommend the vegetable spring rolls as a starter followed by the red thai curry for main. The service was very prompt and friendly and the restaurant was very nicely decorated with a calm and plesant atmosphere. Very affordable for central London and easily accessible from tube stations.
I took my husband to Thai Tho for an after-show meal and after searching the net for a good Thai restaurant I found this one and we were not disappointed.
The food was very nice, fresh, hot and had tons of flavour.
The service was ok, my dish took longer to cook and all the other food had arrived but still not mine and nothing was said, we had to ask. Apart from that the staff were very friendly and I would more than likely go back :)
My wife and I had a pre-show meal here and was blown away by the taste and quality of the dishes served to us by extremely curtious and friendly staff. It was by far the best Thai food we have ever eaten. Our booking was very early and so the restaurant was pretty quiet when we were there, but I can imagine this place having a great atmosphere later on in the evening when there would be more people there enjoying great food and views onto a lively and bustling Shaftsbury Avenue. I would recommend Thai Tho to anyone and we will certainly be going back there when we travel up from South Wales for our next show in the near future
Went here for a pre theatre meal. Welcoming friendly staff...bright airy restaurant and a wide menu to choose from. Opted for the Scallops for starters and Seabass in banana leaf, both delicious. The sauce was to die for and the seabass just melted. Loved it.
