The 3 Brewers-Adelaide
Excellent just a little noisy to talk business. Good choice of beer.
Food was excellent and service too! Just a little too loud for our age group!
While the 3 Brewers has a great menu and there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with it, I find its cost too expensive for standard pub fare food.
This was our very first visit to this particular 3 Brewers location and we were impressed.
It's a little hard to find amidst the on-going renovations by Oxford Properties and as a result,
a lot of people bypass this venue and (By default) end up at The Keg.
Excellent Food and Superb Service (By Jesse J); who took care of us.
We will be back.
First time I dined at this restaurant and my friend and I had a dismal experience. First of all, we questioned the lunch menu with the server. It implied that we had a starter with main for the price of the main and an option to add on a beer for $2.50. Waitress confirmed that it was true, so we ordered. She came back a few minutes later and said she was wrong, that we had to pay an extra amount for the starter (there was no prices next to the starters on the menu). We both amended our orders, after confirming other portions.. We waited a very long time for our food and I didn't receive what I had ordered. When they finally brought my food to me, there were quality issues. A piece of chicken that had hard piece through it (gristle?) and was slightly pink on one half (not certain if it was from tomato, due to lighting or not cooked completely - I didn't eat it). The waitress was really great at clearing our plates when we were done, then abandoned us. We eventually had to flag her down for our bills. Then we had to flag her down for our bills again. Then when she brought them, they were wrong. She left to correct them, dropped them off and left us. We had to flag her down again to bring the machine. The whole process of trying to pay our bill took us over 20 mins. This is unacceptable when there were 6 tables! SIX tables of diners, 2 waitresses and so completely disorganized. I ended up leaving a very small tip as my friend and I couldn't discuss as this was when the waitress decided to hover. She must have known things were not good. Shouldn't have left anything.
Hi there, Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it. If you would like to email me at email@example.com - I would like to discuss the experience further with you and find a solution - so your friend and yourself would like to come back in the future. Thank you.
My mom I went to this restaurant before attending Michelle Obama’s Becoming book tour. The overall experience was satisfactory, however I much prefer the Yonge & Dundas location.
The food is fantastic, and the pretzel app is a must try!
Very noisy in the back dining room, hard to hear each other--the bar was actually quieter! Hard working server. Interesting menu, good food and beer. Would like to go back when all of the entryway construction is complete--its a mess right now
Wonderful place for a pre-show dinner, drinks, or both. Great ambiance, great service, good food. A little hard to find with the construction but worth it!
I go to this place often and I've never had an issue. Staff is friendly, food is good and of course beer is amazing.
Beer and appetizers were yummy. Mains ok.
I am a regular at the Yonge street location and the quality of the menu is as high here too. The triton is amazing value for the money. They were very accomdating for one of our guests in a wheelchair. We reserved 6-seater table but were allowed to move to an 8 seater because the tables afforded more space for his chair and legs.
Great food, great drinks, and great vibe! The happy hour specials are worth the visit alone. Will be back again!
We were seated in an awkward hallway between the front and back room and really felt forgotten. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take our order. There was confusion between two servers and our order was wrong for kids drinks and desserts. The mussels were not fresh. We had to asked 3 times for more water. I like 3 Brewers but will not recommend this location.
I loved our server, super friendly, super helpful. He brought samples for us to try to prove his point that one kind of the seasonal serving is “gross”. And eventually we agreed with him. Other servers were also filing in when he was busy, you don’t see this kind of teamwork elsewhere.
We loved the beer we ordered and will for sure come back for the drinks.
But the food... omg I don’t know where to start. My poutine was just salty and I can taste nothing else. The fries are too soft and moisturized. Other plates were just so so as well. Wouldn’t recommend their food to anyone.
We arrived late but the staff did their best to accommodate us & ensure we got our food in enough time to attend the theatre nearby.
Fun spot to eat. Always great service. Love the beer.
Excellent service. Food was regular bar food. It is good for group and meeting place before games. Will go back.
The food was dry and cold.
The coffee was absolutely cold.
The special occasion - anniversary - I put in the reservations - nobody even noticed.
Food was good and nice décor. It is a little loud and the signage for the restaurant could be more directive.
A bit pricy for appies.
My girlfriend and I were at 3 Brewers for Valentine's Day and when we got there , we were seated at a table by the bar by the hostess and not given an option of a dining room in the far back (which we found out later ,exists). The beers , popcorn shrimp appetizer and roasted squash salad were great..The steak in our steak & frites dish were really tiny though so we won't order that again if we go back. Our server was pleasant and attentive and she got my girlfriend a couple of crostinis upon request, as a substitute for her fries. The crostinis were not the crunchiest but maybe because it was not a very busy evening for them yet so there wasn't a fresh batch made. Will return to try other dishes .
Decent place to hangout with friends
One of my favourite places to have lunch. It's close to the office.
Everything on the menu is good.
Would not recommend. Loud, food was cold, craft beer not good will never go back.
Food was very bland, sat in a cold corner. Wasnt a great experience over all.
Great location, friendly and quick service and good casual food.
The premium beer sampler was a disappointment, all beers were warm flat and tasteless. Food was very good, but 2 of the 5 meals were sent back because we asked for no cheese on one and no bacon on the other. Service was friendly. Not going out of my way to return anytime soon.
Food is always good as is service, can be loud depending on when you go.
Food is not bad and the price is reasonable. Location is central to most of my friends so it’s not too long a walk for anyone for lunch gathering. No loud music so we didn’t have to yell at each other to be heard.
Have always enjoyed 3 Brewers Yonge location so figured Adelaide would be a good option. Took my team there for a dinner and it was awful from start to finish. I understand that there is construction in the adjacent building which is beyond their control, but they sat us at a booth table which was basically in a hallway - bright fluorescent light shining in with a view of scaffolding - not exactly conducive to a nice atmosphere. Server was either inexperienced, over-loaded or both - sporadic service throughout the meal. Appetizer brought at same time as all the mains. Had mussels and fries - fries were soggy and under-cooked. Mussels had about 25% of them unopened - obviously not edible. Some had an odd taste so not certain how fresh they were. They never did clear the table - I paid the bill and we left - will never return to this location!
Way too noisy. We left after 15 mins without eating. Had to yell across the table, unable to have any conversation. Server was pleasant and apologetic.
We have eaten here before at "off-peak" hours and the food was good.
Great service. Good food
Dinner for two was fun experience due the outstanding service of our waitress Catherine (from Australia). The beer that we ordered was excellent (both the white and the blonde). The flammenkuchen Lilloise was worth trying and it was well prepared. Unfortunately the beer and cheddar soup did not make the mark for it was served lukewarm.
All in all the 3 Brasseurs is a lively and fun place to dine.
I really enjoyed eating at the Adelaide 3 Brewers location. I went with a group of 8 coworkers. We had a reservation and got seated quickly. There was many menu options. The food took a little longer to arrive than what we expected. We had to eat and pay quickly. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star. The food was amazing and we were able to do separate bills with ease. I would definitely go back!
Restaurant was ok. As the name implies, it is a pub style restaurant and so meal was consistent with that. We reserved a table for 2 and ended up at a high top table by the bar rather than in the restaurant. A bit odd as we were early for a hockey game and thought there were more regular tables available. We didn't complain but in hindsight, it isn't the most comfortable place to eat and the service was slow as the server was also the bartender. Food was fine. Servers were friendly and worked hard but they seemed under-staffed which was surprising as it was game night for hockey and the place was busy.
Server was awesome! Food came out super quick. Looking forward to next visit.
Took 2 hours for lunch!
One person in our party was comped his meal - but the rest of us were stuck paying full pop after this painful service.
Raw chicken. Argh. Sent it back. Waited 15 minutes and got more raw chicken. They compete the meal though.
I eat low-carb, so I wasn't stuck just ordering a salad, there were some other options available. And our server was genuinely interested in us and offered some recipes she uses at home for low-carb. She really made a good meal great!
