   Food was as brilliant as it has been for the past 30 years and the margs are the best in Edinburgh. Service was lovely.

   We had a great time at the basement for dinner! The service was quick and great, the food was outstanding and the frozen margaritas were incredible!

   Very good, if not typical Mexican food. Some unique options (spiced sweet potato tacos and halloumi tacos were both excellent) in addition to more traditional fare like the fajitas. We had the guacamole, padrón peppers, tacos, and fajitas, and it was all delicious. Definitely need reservations.

   We got the Taco Board as we wanted to give them all a try, they were all spot on. My personal favourite was the Baja Fish Taco. Would recommend Stewarts Edinburgh Gold on draught, too. Everything was great, and the staff were really friendly. Would 100% go again.

   Love the Basement! The staff are always excellent and full of fun and enthusiasm. The food is scrummy and the margarhitas are brilliant! I regularly eat and drink at the Basement, although I am a pensioner the vibe always makes me feel good!

    Food and service was really fab. Went as a group of friends before catching our flight back to Belfast after and amazing weekend in Edinburgh. Portion sizes were fab and taste of tacos was fresh flavoursome and up there with the best we have had. Margheritas were fantastic too. Would definitely recommend and return.
