The Blues Kitchen - Camden
Cool place, the receptionist and waiters were so welcoming and nice.
Fantastic food and perfect service!! Go for it :-)
Great place for food & drinks. Manager & rest of staff were all very attentive. The food was really good and the place was packed. Above my expectations!
We arrived at 8pm for dinner which was lovely but the noise/music was too loud so we could hardly speak during the dinner. I think it would be a good idea to moderate the music early on in the night and obviously turn it up at 10.30 when the band and music starts.
Also you couldn't move on the dance floor and the bouncers kept letting people in so it was impossible to dance!!!! It was far too crowded.
This isn't the first time we've eaten here . The atmosphere is buzzing, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. Not been disappointed yet. We really must come up dor an evening and see the bands.
The food was AMAZING, great value for money. The staff were equally fab.
Had a great nite. My first time in Camden blues kitchen as frequently go to ur Shoreditch restaurant. The band was wicked on Friday Nite. The doors v the who.....love it!!!
Friendly staff as always
Service was fantastic food was amazing as always and value for money
Always a good pre gig dinner stop
Great service and food and spotted peter crouch !!!
Need a reservation as was fully when arrived, menu is small and duplicated almost in a roll or without. Wasn't blown away by the brisket which is a shame. Would probably go back on a Monday for half price food.
Went on a Monday and it was busy, quite loud. The service wasn’t great - despite writing our order down, the incorrect items arrived. The waitress clearly wasn’t interested in us and the food itself was mediocre.
Overall good experience. However, it was a bit disappointed that my toddlers meal was incorrect twice. we asked for plain avo toast but they added chilli flakes to the eggs and avo. And the topped it with cilantro oil.
Otherwise, it was a great meal - Huevos ranchers were amazing.
Truly disappointing. Despite the advertising, the music was playing so far away we may as well have been listening to a cd..... The food was only just ok.... My friends burgers went down well but my brisket & fries was over powered by the huge quantity of salt poured over it. The waiting staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The door staff not so good... On leaving we stood in the doorway waiting a few moments while our Uber arrived as it was literally tipping it down with rain. It was in no way crowded - us & the door staff were the only ones present. So I was mystified when the doorman told us to move onto the street. “It’s raining, we just need a minute till our Uber arrives” - “I don’t care was the reply.” I asked if he was enjoying this given he was near laughing as we got soaked.... “I am actually” was the reply....
Add some screens so everyone can see the bands,. Advise people when they book for food that you have to vacate the table. We weren’t expecting this although staff did manage to find us another which was most helpful.
What a great place, looking for reasons to go back!
Despite being rammed the service was still exceptional and we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks or our food. Unlike some places where the service suffers when it gets busy the staff at the Blues Kitchen were very professsional and could still have a laugh. The food was unbelievably good and the drink selection was amazing. If I lived in London I'd be eating/drinking in the Blues Kitchen at least once a week, even if it sent me broke.
Live music started 2 hours late
The burger I got had human hair init
The time the band started it was turning into a nightclub and allowing around very drunk rowdy people in.
Went there for a date and won't be returning.
Staff couldn't do enough for us. Very lively and fun atmostphere. Delicious food and nice drinks. A little crowded as its a smaller venue than the Shoreditch one but overall had a great time.
Fab place to go. Really warm welcome. Love the decor. Great food and service.
Eugo, who served us, was amazing. He made us feel super comfortable at our table. One of the best experiences at a bar in london. Super amazing music too.
Lovely friendly helpful accommodating knowledgeable staff.
It is really my favourite place in Camden. The last time I was there, the cup seemed that it has not been washed and my friend found a hair on a saucer.
The food was fantastic, however the service was not great. Our orders we're slow to arrive and then incorrect. On top of that we found loads of extras added onto our bill ... luckily we spotted this, but the waiter was not very helpful so whilst he didn't charge us for these extra, he did not re-do the bill which meant we still paid 12.5% service for on top of extra items we did not buy and for overall bad service. To top it off the service charge is automatically added to the bill (like many others) but customers are also asked if they want to add a tip on the card machine, which felt like another way to get money from customers!
Amazing Birthday Bottomless Brunch! Food amazing, drinks plentiful. Friendly service. Cant wait to go back
Cool place and atmosphere. Amazing food but drinks are painfully expensive.
Really attentive service - even on a busy Friday night. Our servers (sorry I forget their names but the American / Canadian lady who was in her first week and the English lady with round glasses) were both excellent. Great food - the beef rib was delicious - and they even stored a cake for us to have for dessert. Would definitely go again Thanks Blues Kitchen team!
Lovely time food was fantastic the staff very attentive
Food was good and value for money, drinks were outstanding (recommend the margaritas and the lychee martinis). The band comes on around 10pm and were great. Really added to the atmosphere in the bar area. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
A friend of mine recommended The blues kitchen to me and I am so grateful. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were really friendly and welcoming especially our hard working waitress Katie. The food was amazing (try the squid popcorn starter) and surprisingly cheap but the overall atmosphere is what won me over. I would definitely recommend it. Great food, people and live music, what more can you ask you?
I went there with my niece it was her first time experiencing the blues I’m from Vancouver Canada and it’s my second time through club I enjoyed thoroughly for the jam the service was impeccable the staff super friendly it’s something that we have lack of here in Vancouver Canada I only wish I could be there more often I had to come back to Vancouver but the experience is very overwhelming and London is my favourite city my first time there thank you
Be prepared for slow service..order drinks in plenty of time..burgers are served very rare.
Down side was we waited a very longtime for our dessert. We got an apology, but that’s it
The food was incredible, we had a birthday brunch here and every single meal we chose was delicious. Everything also came at the same time which I think is very good, I can’t wait to come back here. The service was also amazing, all the staff were so lovely and patient when we had to wait for some of our guests.
Food was really good, however had to wait 30 minutes for the table we had booked (in fairness, we’d only booked it 20 minutes in advance), and then it took another half an hour to order our food. I’ve been here twice and both times had very slow service, but other than that food is always good.
The food was amazing. Great service too. I would like to try the other venues. We sat on a bar-type table and it would have been nicer to sit at a booth. But next time we can request that. Great overall experience. Also, my husband is gluten free and they accommodated him well.
Service was really good. The food was good, but quite expensive. The padron peppers in particular were a bit disappointing. Generally, it was a nice place to have dinner and I would recommend if you've not been before, but would not rush back now I've been once.
Very nice food and cocktails. Server helped us choose some lovely whiskeys for after the meal too
Can't give an opinion since they have a power cut but the place is cool. 100%
Always the best in London and a must try for whoever did not go there yet.
