The Blues Kitchen - Shoreditch
Service was great. Good food and very quaffable Rioja.
Great food and fantastic choice of music great staff overall totally enjoyed 1🎼🎸👍
Great ambience, intimate lighting. Lively, friendly service; attentive. Tasty meat. Fries could be better. Loved the live blues. Great value. Loved it and we'll be back!
The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and atmosphere was nice and chilled.
Me and my partner went here for date night. We were seated quickly where a waiter immediately bought us water and menu's. The food was incredible and the live music was fantastic.
My only issues were trying to work out who was actually working as there is no staff uniform but this in no way effected their level of customer service.
I would have preferred an optional service charge. Id rather tip or if I knew for certain the charge goes to the waiter/waitress wouldn't have a problem.
We had an amazing night and will definitely be visiting again.
Poor service from the staff! not interested and charged for items not requested like a large white wine when i asked for a small
As ever a great atmosphere, food was good quality shame it just felt a bit rushed but its a very busy location and rightfully very successful.
We were ignored by two members of staff when asking for drinks refills at bottomless brunch. When we told the manager, he didn't apologise but made excuses as to why we were ignored - the servers weren't serving our particular section. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend to friends.
Really great experience. The place was absolutely packed and really pumping when we arrived but we were quickly shown to our table. The waiter was lovely and sorted out our drinks and meals ASAP. We could hear the live music from our table. It was hard to have a conversation though as the place was just so loud. Lots of drunk essex people at 9pm - we didn’t stick around to see what the place would be like at 11pm. All in all though, a really delicious meal and top notch service by our waiter.
Food was not particularly good
Meat was really dry
Cocktails were watered down too much.
It was extremely noisy even before the gig started
Lovely service, thanks for catering to my needs 😊
Great venue. Superb food. Attentive staff...I’ll just leave these comments here.
Nos dijeron que si tardabamos en llegar mas de 15 minutos, nuestra mesa se la darian a otro, pero luego alli nos hicieron esperar 20 minutos.
No nos avisaron de que la comida era picante.
Our first time experience was very good. Next time, I will attempt to be seated in front of the stage to enjoy the live band fully.
The food was amazing as was the whole experience. We were served by Rosa who was lovely
Only issue was we had chosen the Blues Kitchen for a birthday bash. As a regular patron of the Blues Kitchen i was keen to share it with friends and family. We booked dinner from 9pm hoping to stay the whole night as all had travelled and all were staying over in hotels. Unfortunately we had to leave the seating after 11pm and because some of our party was over a certain age they could not stand for a long periods and there was no other seating so the evening was cut short. I did explain all this at the time of booking and was told that hopefully it should not be a problem.
Good food and cocktails, lively atmosphere and friendly attentive staff!
Had to wait a long while for the food. When it arrived it was not hot but we were very hungry so we ate it. When we asked for the bill we were asked if everything was ok. We did say the food was not hot for which they apologized. My wife was very cold as the door kept opening. Her crab cake was salty but did not taste of crab. It is not all bad news as the staff have a good attitude to their customers.
I love this place, its vibe, the food and the service. This time I booked it for my birthday and despite booking we had to wait 10/15 minutes for the table. However, I brought my own cake and they gave us cutlery and everything, so I can say that kind of make up for the waiting.
I'll definitely come back.
The food is too good and worth every penny! There is a live band so it’s quite noisy
Great place for drinking. Menu was simple and authentic.
Second time eating at Blues Kitchen, but my first time was in Brixton. Shoreditch is definitely miles a head with their great service.
Couldn’t fault the food, atmosphere or service. My food was delish and so was my friends.
Between us, we ordered - Fried chicken which was nice and crisp skin with moist inside, popcorn squid again crispy and not oily at all, mac and cheese delish and pork rib/baffalo wings. We ordered a few cocktails which were quite pricey but very good. All in all and very goof experience and wouls definitely go back for more!
Great night. Will go again. Service was on the slow side and they got my mums order wrong but apart from that I recommend it!
Poor service and food presentation food is over priced for what your getting. Do not waste your time
Such a slow service, took such a long time for us to be served and wasnt that busy in there.... We got the bottomless brunch for the prosecco as it worked out cheaper but the waiter was sooooo slow we only managed to get 2 glasses of it each would have been better off buying single drinks. Had a cheek to charge us for service at the end of the bill. Food was over cooked, onion rings were more batter then onion itself.... Disappointing as was really looking forward to coming here. Wont be back!
Very good BBQ - we particularly enjoyed the wings and the burgers which were both excellent. I've been to the Blues Kitchen in Camden and this one was far superior - cool vibe, great bar, good food and excellent old-school Americana décor.
I have to say that I am in love with this place and the music. Best place in town.
From next time I will take a replacement shirt with me because I feel that I am after a cardio session when I leave, that much I love the music there. I cannot stop dancing 😬
Great venue for a birthday celebration. Defo recommend.
Booked this restaurant for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. When we got there the table was ready for us and we were seated straight away. The service was great- we didnt have to wait long to order and our food was amazing. Our plan was to stay and listen to the live music however it was a shame that a guy that worked there randomly came up to us half hour before we were due to give up our table saying that we had to leave as they needed the table and we had used our 2 hours allocated slot already. We told him he was wrong and we still had half hour, but we asked for the bill straight after that and left. Completely ruined the experience as there wasn't a welcoming feeling at all, but went on to enjoy some good music at another bar just down the road 😊
Really great staff, great layout and abiencce for the expected environment however food was quite bland
great time at bottomless brunch. The food was lovely and we had a good range, not just the usual breakfast stuff. Plus the drinks were flowing very very well! Didn't ever have to wait for a top up :)
Tasty food with very fast and good service. Great live band!
Really enjoyed the food at Blues Kitchen and the service was also excellent. Would recommend!
Burgers and BBQ are really good! I wouldn't mind if fries are a bit more generous - especially for the price and them not being included in the 14£ burger menu. 6pm was extremely loud - so conversation was not as vibrant as it could be. Not ideal scenario for a business dinner.
my booking was 4.30pm which is perfect if you going with a child, not too noisy or busy but still have good atmosphere. staff are helpful too
Great atmosphere and live music. Attentive service. 2-4-1 burgers were a good deal.
Best bottomless brunch experience I’ve ever had in London. Solely made by the staff. They were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Absolute credit to the place, they made our day.
The staff were outstanding! We were served by joe and he would do everything to help us. Knew what we needed when we needed. I'm trying to organise more trips with other groups. Mind blowingly good music and atmosphere.
Amazing food. My friend was visiting from out of town and I have previously eaten at the Camden branch and wanted to try a different location and it did not disappoint. The best buffalo chicken wings I've had in London and my friend said it's the best she's had in the UK! I had the buffalo chicken burger which was super tasty and my friend had the fried chicken main. Overall really good value and food.
All the staff are so friendly
