Lovely pub, always great food. Very Covid conscious, really nice staff
Lovely Staff, very attentive and helpful, nice venue.
Food was lacking though. Inconsistencies with the plating. One plate had lot of sides the other not, one plate had a lot of gravy the other had to request More because they had hardly any. Food was also a bit tired, the meat was warm not hot and potatoes were dry and a bit chalky. My understanding was it was coming to the end of Lunch service So I imagine that was the reason why. Book early to get better food rather then having to make do with what it seem to be left. I wouldn’t go back for the roast but would maybe try their regular daily menu
Excellent food, however the conservatory area was freezing cold.
Very nice Sunday roast with pretty decor inside. The desserts were also very tasty.
Great outdoor space, lovely staff and just generally a decent place!
Lovely Christmas evening. Amazing food and great outdoor area with heaters that's work! Would recommend
Great food and warm and cosy atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming!
The food was exceptional. The roast chicken Christmas special was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend it. The wine list is decent and the the waiters attentive.
We had a delicious supper. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
We were seated on the patio, which was so lovely! It’s fully covered and has lots of heaters, so even with the freezing cold temperatures in December we were quite comfortable. The food was good — I had the burger, which was really nice and the chips were absolutely delicious! They had mulled wine available, which was perfect for this time of year. The staff were incredibly hospitable, regularly checking on us and making sure we never went thirsty. We had a great time and will definitely be back!
The Bobbin is our local and we love eating there! Amazing food.
They have a lovely and big conservatory that had been decorated for Christmas it was so nice. The food is simple but delicious.
Roast dinner here always good. Staffs were nice and feel safe for COVID-19 here.
Pre-lockdown #2 dinner with family, which was perfect. Service was really quick and friendly. I had the burger and my wife had the salad. My wife said my burger was the best she had ever tasted. I’m not sure what her salad tasted like! 😂
Amazingly friendly service, made sure our drinks were never empty. Best roast I've had in ages, would recommend.
Excellent Sunday roast and atmosphere would definitely return
Delicious food and excellent service. Best roast I've had in London!
Great outdoor seating. Food is reliably good.
The Sunday roast was outstanding minus the slightly burnt Yorkshire Puddings. The service was almost too efficient with food on the table before we'd finished our first glass of wine. In summary, a really atmospheric and fun pub with superb food!
Poor food, poor service - very disappointed. We booked nearly a week in advance and were offered a barstool next to the front door. When we complained, we were moved to a makeshift table in the corridor between the bar and the main restaurant. you would think booking a week in advance you would have a proper table as there were others available.
Having read the timeout review we were very excited - but the Sunday roast we had was poor (dry potatoes, Yorkshire, and underdone veg with not enough gravy) when we complained nothing was really said and nothing offered as a make good.
Definitely will not be going back!

We booked an outside table for Sunday lunch, so I had visions of shivering in the rain - instead, the garden terrace was sheltered, attractive and cosy with super warm patio heaters. It was perfectly weather proofed and ideal for meeting other households in an outdoor space. Food was excellent, very good service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Nice atmosphere, fantastic food, great service. Food is little more expensive than your standard pub fare but it's really delicious, perfect for a date night
Cozy neighbourhood pub with good drinks and food. Enjoyable and will come again!
Absolutely worth the trip, adapted to COVID times really well. Outside is fully covered with warm heaters, you could sit there in any weather.
Food was first class - sausages, the ragu and risotto all excellent. Thoroughly recommended and a really nice bunch of staff.
Tasty food, great service and perfect heated and covered outside area to suit the current times!
The mushroom risotto is earthy and seriously rich, just what’s needed to raise the dead on a Saturday lunchtime.
Really delicious food and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend
Lovely experience and lovely outdoor vibes
nice place chilled and good vibe but expenssive for a pub could have been cheaper as it isnt a luxury resturant.
Had a good evening at The Bobbin. Friendly service in happy environment. As good as it gets currently!
Great evening and the last for now elwhen we could mingle. Excellent service. Pork Chop was superb.
The food was excellent and although it took an hour to come was worth the wait. Sadly the welcome by the Manager was not. I was told my dog was not allowed in the pub despite remembering in the past that dogs were welcomed, so she had to stay in the car. The reason given was that our table was in the main dining area but we were subsequently moved to the conservatory at the back which was freezing because people kept leaving the doors open from the garden. When I asked if I could bring the dog into the conservatory I was told we were too close to the kitchen.
We finished our meal and would have possibly ordered another drink or dessert however our glasses were cleared away and nothing else offered. It was too late towards curfew for the table to be used again so I would have thought it would have been beneficial to encourage diners to order more.
As we left I saw the real reason dogs are no longer allowed - a cat came in from the garden & went straight into the kitchen. I think the Manager prefers cats.
It was a shame as we had travelled from across London to visit an old local of mine but it was just was not the same anymore. I do understand pubs are facing a difficult time at the moment but would have thought all the more reason to make diners feel welcomed and at home.
Delicious seasonal menu, Mushroom risotto was tremendous and the roasts are absolutely delicious.
Poor vegetarian main course options; only mushroom risotto.
Really good service and a lovely place, sunday roast was excellent!
Love The Bobbin. A posh local pub with good food and friendly staff.
Really good food with an Italian twist. The pork shop with rissotto; the Penne with Italian sausage ragu and the Italian sausage and mash was cooked perfectly and was really tasty! The house red (valpolicella) is delicious though slightly pricey. Overall if you don’t mind a slightly more expensive pub expert once this is a real gem with lovely staff too.
Great service, lovely place great food definitely visit again
Shame the waiter with the shorts was a bit gruff and struggled with his mask all night.
Other staff were great and LOTS of COVID precautions in place, compared to other local pubs and restaurants - felt safe and enjoyable.
A great pub, with excellent service - and very good adherence to social distancing / wearing masks.
