Wonderful location for a couple of drinks with friends. Drink choice is great, just wish I’d had time to try the cheese board!

We had fish and chips and sole with truffle chips. Chocolate caramel tart with sorbet was very tasty.
The young waiter was a friendly and attentive young Polish chap.

The food at Booking Office was decent enough but overpriced. £10 for one beef croquette. Main of fish and chips £22, beef cheeks & mash £24. Having said that everything was tasty, we had a great reasonably priced bottle of English Brut, and they provided a plate of birthday macaroons with a candle for the birthday boy. The restaurant is beautiful and part of the fantastically stunning St Pancras building.

Have eaten here twice before - great food, service and ambience. On this occasion, the service was very slow, two mistakes were made with our order, my (£22) risotto was undercooked/chewy and if you ask the server what is on the menu for vegetarians you will get a very sheepish look (one starter and one main only). I am not vegetarian but one of my guests is and it was very embarrasing for me. I won't return in a hurry.

The service was really poor. The place was complete chaos and we were asked three times for a drinks order but not for food. It was very noisy and incredibly overpriced even for central London

Lovely food and ambiance. Service was quite slow and both items we chose were not available, even on a Saturday evening. Made a good choice booking ahead!

Two wrong orders and no real adjustment until we took the bill to reception - who immediately apologised. Restaurant Manager came to us in the exec lounge, apologised and graciously adjusted the bill to a figure we felt was fair. Really good example of customer service recovery, but a shame it didn't start well.

Very pricey for what is essentially bar food. Portions of the Risotto were not that of a main course.

The food was very disappointing - previously we have had the most amazing salads, but this time there was only a very ordinary Caesar salad on the menu. The crab risotto was bland, and very dribbly - not how a risotto should be.
Please put more salads on the menu, and we will be back!
Service - fantastic, venue - incredible

Lovely evening, the waiter gave us some misinformation re the fish of the day. Ordered the Salmon, out came Sardines, but was quickly rectified although I started my meal after everyone had finished their meals. Good food though.

Shame staff didn’t know the new menu, they will soon get it, but they should have been made familiar before being asked to serve it. A management not waiting staff issue.

Honestly the staff alone have this as a 5. They were exceptional. Very helpful, friendly and polite. The atmosphere was a little strange, mostly because of the antiquity of the building mixed with the vibe of the restaurant, but the food was beautiful. If you like a tipple the selection here is second to none, whatever you drink.

A truly beautiful Victorian England setting with excellent service, but marred by indifferent cooking. I ordered the sole and it came almost liquid and not fully cooked. What a disappointment. I did not send it back because it would have greatly disturbed a lunch with friends I had not seen for many years. I could tell that the salmon of one of my friends was overdone. The desserts were "gestures" rather than what one could have hoped for.

The restaurant is beautiful and is incredibly convenient to the train station. Unfortunately however, the food was very disappointing. The fish and chip batter was soggy and full of bones. The Lemon Sole (which we requested be filleted - wasn't), and the steak was overcooked and or mediocre quality. I would recommend for a drink - but certainly not for food.

The Booking Office is a regular for me whenever I want to organize a small meeting or just catch up with friends. It is fairly quiet and there's always the feeling of privacy when sitting at a table. The staff is very friendly and extremely competent.
The only thing I would make a suggestion on is about some of the furniture. The tables are a bit low, and for a tall person it feel a bit uncomfortable after a while as my legs won't fit underneath them.

The place is absolutely stunning, but the food is terrible. Sent the avocado and eggs sandwich back due to the bread being stall and the avocado was scrapped on. Croissant were soft and pale, definitely not made on site.

Poor
Bread arrived after the main courses
My daughter has a dairy food intolerance and they said a dish was ok and then only half of it turned up as the rest had dairy in.
We then had to wait while they bought other things and the rest of the meal was cold.
For this standard place it was poor and they still challenged service charges.
Restaurant should have waiters who are aware of food allergies and what dosages contain what.

Food and drinks were nice, maybe a little expensive although probably in line with other London venues. The booking said we could have 2.5 hours at the table but we were actually moved after 2 hours due to an event so if you need the full time it may be worth checking in advance.

A must see for those who love Victorian architecture and want to relive the grandeur of this stunningly renovated building. The booking room is sightly quieter and more intimate than the bar next to it and an impressive venue for client meetings. The Thameslink service runs under the hotel so very convenient for transport.

The service I had yesterday was incredibly good, light touch, friendly and not at all stuffy.

The downside is the price - a carafe of Reisling, two starters and two soda waters was £80. Take your business credit card if at all possible. It's not expensive for where you are but be prepared to pay if you can't fight the urge to stay all day/ evening.

The building and the ambiance were incredible set inside the Renaissance Hotel adjacent to St Pancras train station. We had a server who was really nice, then after he took our order and served our first drink changed and we got a new server and were never told why. The food was expensive and it was good but not great sadly, just OK. I had the 12oz Ribeye medium rare and it was more medium and just nothing special for 38 GBP. The cocktails were good and the ambiance made up for the other areas. I would go to experience the building if I were in the area again but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

The service was terrible, my wife had to go and fetch a server to get service.

The desert didn't arrive and we removed the charge and service charge from our bill.

The manager really needs to provide the staff with customer service or sack the manager.

The £300+ bill wasn't value for money.

The idea of having a lovely lunch in the Old Booking office of St Pancras station was very appealing and indeed the ambience did not disappoint. However. the a la carte food was dreadful both in terms of quality and value for money. The sole on the bone was meagre, and dry (£32). For whatever reason the side order of cabbage with bacon pieces that should have accompanied my wife's chicken dish did not arrive until after the meal was consumed, though her cocktail was excellent. For £112 outlay I am sure we would have done much better virtually anywhere else.
Our waiter was friendly and did his best, but he must have sensed our dissatisfaction. Given that the restaurant was not busy, there are clearly big problems in the kitchen.

Lovely room, comfortable and atmospheric, complementing the history of the beautiful building and its' amazing, careful and sympathetic restoration.

Unfortunately the food, whilst being serviceable, is not good enough for the price. Burrata was good, tomatoes fair, but spendy at £14. Burgers were really pulled-beef, not a pattie as such. Burger buns were good, fries good. But £20 is too much. Serving mayo and ketchup in single-use jars is not very green in 2019. Chocolate Dessert at £12 was not really worth the money, although the theatre of the service of it was quite interesting. Service was well-meaning but dis-jointed and sometimes slow.

At this price point it all needs to be a lot more slick and the food needs to be 'kicked up a notch'.
