The food was excellent. Has the Fried Calamari and it was so good. Will definitely return here for all the food.

We hadn’t been to CG in some time. It’s always been our favorite steakhouse. This visit didn’t disappoint. There was a lively crowd on a Saturday. We were seated in a nice little tucked away room that almost felt like private dining. Amber took excellent care of us from start to finish. The lobster bisque was superb. The filet Oscar was cooked perfectly medium rare. The au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach were as delicious as I remembered. CG is still my favorite restaurant for special occasion dining.

My husband and I went out with another couple for Valentine’s Day at Capital Grille in Tysons. We are huge Capital Grille fans and enjoy their steaks and Stoli Doli signature cocktail:). However, our experience on Monday, February 15th was very poor. Our server was not welcoming or informative with the specials or any information for that matter. We quickly ordered our Cocktails but waited for over 15 minutes for them. We had to tell the waiter we wanted to order appetizers before he tried to leave the table once we said we weren’t ready for Entree’s. The waiter never brought out a dessert menu or discussed Dessert options. No one came by our table to ask how our food was. Overall we left with a bill for nearly $600 and an unsatisfactory dining experience and meal.

Dinner at Capitol Grille Tysons capped off a fabulous birthday. As usual, the food and service were exquisite and we always feel safe eating indoors there with the COVID protocols put in place. In fact it’s the only restaurant in the DC area that my family has dined at indoors since the pandemic.

Always a superb experience, the Capital Grille in Tysons is always first-class, personable and exquisite in food preparation and presentation. The professionalism of the staff and the commitment to every detail makes this home base location a consistent favorite. One of my 3 go-to DC area restaurants for special occasions.

We were told dining capacity would be 50% When we got there is was 100%. I was sitting 2' from the next table. This is unacceptable during this pandemic. They said it was bc it was Valentine's Day. SO? Tell the virus that. We were moved to a more private room. Much better. I never received my drink order, but it was on the bill. It was removed. The food was VERY good, as I eat here often. The experience and service were far below theirs, and my standards. Very disappointed for an occasion.

First time at Capital Grille, and wow! The bread basket does not disappoint. We got a reasonably priced bottle of red wine that was very drinkable. We both ordered Steak - one filet and one NY Strip - cooked to our liking. We ordered the truffle fries and spinach to share - both were devoured. My only con would be the tables seemed a little close in terms of covid. I’m a fan of traditions, and I’d happily make this our go to spot for Valentines.

Food,service, and ambiance was impeccable!

This was our first visit to this particular Capital Grille and it was amazing! Our server, Walter Z was outstanding and very helpful.

Waiter was very judgemental and condescending. Also not at all following table distancing.

Capital Grill is our preferred place to celebrate special occasions. It was our 60th wedding anniversary and as always we had an exceptional evening.

We told the waiter it was a birthday celebration, yet he was not attentive to the birthday boy. The food was decent for the value of purchase. The service felt rushed and not connected to the customers. It was our first time in the restaurant, not too impressed overall.

We came for girls night. Food was DELCIOUS and they were very understanding of my two friends’ dietary restrictions. I will say, however, that they were not very COVID-friendly. Thankfully, we were seated at a lone booth between a hallway and register but there were plenty of other guests who were literally back-to-back. When we left it was sooooo crowded at the front while people were waiting. Won’t be back anytime, soon, and it’s a shame because everything else was WONDERFUL!

the front host desk is a mess. Take so much time to figure out the seating, and still we got a seat by the hall way. We were there early around 5 15, and there is not a lot of people in the dinning room area. The two hosts has no idea how to greet and arrange seating. What a shame for a good restaurant.

Our server was excellent, non-intrusive, professional, and knowledgeable. He made my friend's special day wonderful. Thank you!

I had a wonderful experience celebrating my sister birthday here. The service was 5 star. Waitress was really down to earth and helped take group photos of us. The food was very tasty. The drinks are well made. I really enjoyed the oysters, crab & lobster cakes and bacon brussels sprouts. I recommend this place for date night and small intimate gatherings. I will be back again.

I celebrated my birthday with a couple of close friends. Everything was spectacular! Would definitely recommend for a date or special occasions.

My Birthday Dinner was very nice as the restaurant is extremely elegant with a nice ambiance and great service, however the steak was over priced I’ve had better steak for a lesser amount.

Excellent as always

Went there for my birthday dinner. Service was impeccable (and it is every single time I go there). All the food was tasty, but much of the food came out overly salty. I made the mistake of not asking to go easy on the salt. Anyway, it was a sleepless night as I was constantly drinking water. I'll know better next time!

Love the food and service. Thought it would be fine to eat at high top in bar area but in retrospect would have been better to be at regular table for a date

This Capital Grille location always exceeds expectations!! The staff is top notch and super efficient on a busy night. They are by far the most professional yet friendly and engaging staff of any capital grille location. Kelly is superb in her wine recommendations for dinner. Her knowledge and ability to offer a wide variety of price points in the selection of wine with dinner is phenomenal! Our waiter Antoine (not sure of spelling) is fantastic and very friendly! Food was excellent as always. The cheesecake or fresh berries is the way to go for dessert. Overall another great dining experience!!
