The only good thing about this place are the cocktails. The service on the terrace was bad and unfriendly, we booked a table for dinner and got a very low coffee table that is not suitable for eating and also one of the chairs didn’t have a back - it was a pouffe. When we asked for a normal chair, the staff refused, it after discussing with the manager, they did bring us another chair. The heaters on the terrace barely work. We didn’t get a normal dining table, where we wouldn’t need to hold our plates in hands, yet the staff kept insisting that we order food as it’s one of their rules. Didn’t expect that level of service from Hyatt and such a low quality of food. Unfortunately never again for us.

Outdoor area was well heated and sheltered, with blankets for every seat. The staff and service were exceptional and everything was well organised. The business has clear provision for COVID-19 precautions. Food was well presented and it was a lovely experience.

It's always been my favourite little outdoor venue - amazing food but I was just SO cold - the heaters sadly weren't really enough and I left with freezing fingers and toes. Amazing food and service but lacking in heat!

It was a lovely terrace opposite a peaceful square away from the main drag of Oxford Street and we were well socially distanced. Loved all the Churchill references including his seated statue with brandy glass!The waiters were fantastic. So friendly and very helpful around advising the pairing of the exceptional cocktails to the food. The food was tasty and well presented but not the best value for money but the cocktails more than made up for that and we didn’t mind because it was so nice to be with out after Lockdown #2! It seemed appropriate to be in “Winnie’s” bar during this turbulent year. Hopefully a bit of his well known stoicism and wartime spirit rubbed off on us!

Small area.Dont think smoking should be allowed.Heaters not very effective.Would have to wear a warm coat.

Lovely pretty outside terrace. Very helpfully staff. Given the current COVID restrictions ideal to meet with friends for food and drinks.

I chose the Churchill because of the outside terrace during the Covid pandemic....lovely decor, heat lamps....& had been recommended in one of the tabloids.....
Four of us for Sunday lunch, booked well in advance. Upon arrival was asked to sit on the terrace, 4 chairs & a very low occasional table.....no more than 12” off the ground. Rest of the party arrived, I then expected to be shown our table. Nope! This is where we were expected to eat a 3 course meal....hunched over, navigating our food of a distance of 3’. Absolutely ridiculous. We all complained, thankfully a table was available inside. Had we not said anything this establishment thought it was perfectly acceptable.

Overall great experience and service. Just a bit of a shame they didn’t have a couple of our preferred wines and then didn’t offer to price match when we had to choose a more expensive wine.

Brilliant, well-made cocktails, and professional service. A treat to sit outside but sheltered from the rain in a pretty terraced setting.

Their attention to covid rules was refreshingly attentive but not overbearing.

A lot of people were smoking, so sometimes that got a bit much.

Excellent - celebrated my 21st with my friend. Great staff who served us along with the head of house were excellent.

Visiting for the second time and everything was absolutely amazing. Amazing cocktail bar, however, the reason why we came back werethe burgers, these some of the best my boyfriend and I have ever had!! And we have tried 100s probably 😂 I cannot begin to express how excellent the service is - the staff are extremely nice, accommodating and most of all they do not pressure you, they really let you enjoy the time you spend there while making sure you are looked after! I wish I got the name of the person who served us as we had him the last time we visited and he is the absolute best! We will definitely be coming again. The only downside is that the drinks are a bit on the expensive side.

Service was exceptional!

Lovely atmosphere. Great to relax and enjoy drinks with friends. Would be a perfect spot for date night also, so I shall do that next time I visit. Friendly staff and well-balanced response to COVID-19.

Service is absolutely brilliant, decor is beautiful and clean presentation. Highly recommended, especially the outdoor terrace as blankets provided in case it gets chilly. Lovely intimate setting.

Really lovely surroundings. Service was excellent and food was great! Recommended for a treat / date as on the pricier side. Food has decent pricing but drinks are expensive.

Was nice to go back to my regular spot for a cigar. Nice quiet bit less busy at time I went but this was a nicer experience then when too over busy, staff as usual helpful and polite.
As address by senior regarding limited menu which is a dissapointment but understandable with circumstances otherwise was good. Would like to see more options on the Rum section of the menu with such an extensive whiskey section the rum hardly gets much notice or attention which I think could really do with abit revamp and some additions which be great to pair with cigars as they do come from Carribean and central America which are all Rum dominated islands would be happy to recommend if needed.

Otherwise pleasant experience and be waiting Togo back when the oysters are back on menu something if you not tried you should defo go ahead when full menu is back.

Great Bar a must visit if in the area. Very nice memorabilia of Winston Churchill all around the bar and seating areas.

Booked table via Opentable for the 5th Aug 20 for 12.45pm for our 25th Anniversary. Received an email from Opentabe on the 4th to reconfirm the booking, which I confirmed. Arrived on time to find the bar and Terrace CLOSED!!!!!! Extremely disappointed.

The staff were so attentive and helpful and the food was absolutely sensational!

Great staff, good location. Excellent for cigar smokers too in the outside space, highly recommended.

This is a perfect date spot or with a friend , upon entry there was a temperature check and hand sanitizer offered , professional and friendly staff , even when I asked to move to in-door seating due to some noise outside , they were more than accommodation, venue interior is well designed.

Cocktails were very good , slight mix up with table numbers and drinks which meant we had to wait 20/25 minutes for drinks :( . The staff were good overall though ! Drinks were priced at you’d expect in that part of London and at the Hyatt. They do regular cocktails if you ask which aren’t on the menu . 9/10 would’ve been 10/10 if it wasn’t for the wait !
