has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to the
Thames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toast
spread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered them
again when we returned for Sunday lunch. Sunday roasts with 'all the
trimming's' - we tried beef and pork - had everything a Sunday roast should
have. Somewhere rather spiffing to go' (Fay Machsler, Evening Standard)
But not after a Fulham game or weekend. Way too loud too busy. Our food was not good. We have been here before and have had fabulous meals.
Waitress was top draw. I had booked a table for three but there were five of us and she changed things around to accommodate us.
Food was good and served reasonably quickly after ordering.
I would recommend The Crabtree to anyone.
There is a football ground close to this pub so watch out if you're going on a match day and you don't want it to be too busy/noisy! It didn't bother us as the restaurant is slightly away from the bar and it wasn't unbearable. The food was nice, we all had fish and chips. The batter on the fish was slightly under-cooked but on the whole it was fine. Everything arrived very quickly and the waitress was super friendly. There is also a lovely outdoor space if the weather is nice, overlooking the river.
I always have a great time at The Crabtree. The staff are excellent and welcoming and the food is fantastic. It's my favourite London pub!
What a great pub, it was Mothers Day so granted busy but as we had booked and our table was ready we (a party of 6) sat down straight away. Everything with the meal was fab, service, atmosphere and food. Can't recommend enough!
Lively pub on the river. One of the BEST vegan burgers I’ve had in London. Bravo! 👏
We had pre match drinks in the beer garden overlooking the Thames. The only negative was the time to get served at the bar. After the game we returned for late lunch. For a hour or so it was very full and it took a long time to get a drink but this is only to be expected on a match day
The dining room was quiet, the service good and friendly and the location is really great. Price wise good value for London
The food was
i am always happy when i have the chance to spend time and eat at the crabtree
Nice ambience. Great location. Food was good. We had the duck starter. The poached egg was exceptional however the duck Margaret was served cold and lacked taste. I had the fish and chips for main which was good. However when you pay £14.50 for it you expect it to stand out from the crowd a little more. Overall a nice place but expensive for food that is good but not superb.
Good food well-presented, good choice, restaurant quite quiet (a Friday lunchtime). Good ambience in the pub.
Fantastic service - thanks for being so helpful. Lovely food as well!
The roast was great, I’ve heard excellent reviews about the fish and chips too
Didn't realise it was a Fulham home game Sunday so glad we booked!
Sunday roast was ok but the mushroom soup was brilliant!
Service exemplary, given it was heaving and will go back.....just not on a match day!
We went to the crabtree before Fulham - Liverpool and it was the perfect Place pre-game. Great view and atmosphare both inside and outside. Good food and service! You need to book early (like a week before) to get a table if its game day! Warmly recomended
2 of us had a lovely meal at The Crabtree on Friday. The pub area was busy, but the restaurant feels quite separate to this so was not too loud. The food selection has always been good at The Crabtree, but they have recently added a Vegan menu, which has some really nice additions (and I am not vegan). For starters we had the vegetable samosas (vegan menu), which were really flavourful, and the burrata with truffled honey, also delicious. For mains we had the special steak and blue cheese pie, which was packed full of steak, and the sea bass with gnocchi, which was again really delicious.
The service was great throughout, very friendly and quick. Will definitely return to The Crabtree, most likely in summer to take advantage of their lovely riverside garden area!
Fantastic staff and lovely food
This is my favourite local pub for both food and drinks - fantastic food, very friendly unintrusive service, great atmosphere, beautiful design and perfect riverside setting. Thank you!
Excellent lunch and brilliant table service
Great food and service was excellent, great location for a relaxing lunch
Fantastic food and service. I get the impression that the staff really care. We will be back!
Had a great dinner here. Had to book as it was before a local football home game. The food was absolutely fantastic, compliments to the chef and their team!
Nice but overpriced

There is this one waiter who is extremely nice, always happy to help with a smile despite having to deal with so many families and prams, making it very difficult to arrange tables.
Excellent food and service -and music- in a very charming setting.
The new vegan menu was a major hit with those of our party who tried it. Good menu overall, and food very well prepared and came in generous portions. Custard could usefully be thicker. Service very pleasant. Not cheap, but overall a good experience, and would recommend.
Our waiter Ryan rocked! Our best meal/experience from this past weekend in London.
Our local and a great pub
Love this pub.... Love the staff and great food
Very friendly and attentive staff. Good selection on the menu and all the food we had was very nice.
All was good. We have come back to Canary Island. The food was excellent but the problem with the mushrooms those night because my daughter has intolerance. Better more Vegan courses will be nice. Thank you for your attention and we recommend the restaurant to our friends who travel to London.
we had such a friendly service and everything came perfectly on time !! top quality ! very good flavours
Loved it with the family, really nice and great with kids!
Great venue - good food and atmosphere but not pretentious
Went for Sunday lunch with some friends. It was very busy and bustling (I recommend booking!), but the wait staff were on it the entire time. Our food came out very quickly and was delicious! As a vegetarian, i find it hard to get a decent roast, so I’m very happy that the only option was tasty. My only qualm was that the roast parsnips were undercooked. My friends had the meat options, and were also satisfied with their roast dinners. We also had dessert (sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble) - again, really delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu :)
Great location, friendly staff and the food is delicious! Bit pricey but the quality is worth it.
Great place, good food...............................
Perfect fish and chips
A great way to spend a Friday night
Enjoyable meal after football at Craven Cottage. Bar very busy with fans but dining room quite relaxed, very pleasant atmosphere.
The pumpkin soup was super amazing and the whole menu was well balanced really enjoyed the veggie options! Waiters were all super nice too good service good food nice decor great overall experience e
Outstanding food, service and ambience! Was the perfect setting for birthday celebration and the staff and manager could not have been more attentive. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.
