The Dairy Bar & Bistro
Delicious food, service would be slightly more attentive but just picking at the edges as everything else was so good
£27 lunch was a great deal.
Most of the courses were great but there was one miss for me so can’t say 5 stars. Very fatty piece of beef - but luckily was full by then.
Would go back again for the lunch deal - great value. May not for dinner.
Amazing little gem. Really great find right in the heart of Clapham
Had amazing afternoon trying our tasting menu - every single dish had amazing layers of flavors and just amazing quality produce
Continues to serve intriguing and delicious flavour combinations. Food that promotes discussion and debate as well as oohs and ahhs.
Genuinely my favourite restaurant in London. I love everything about this place and most importantly the food here is incredible. My partner and I come here every year on our anniversary and I cannot wait to visit again. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you all.
Very nice food and lovely atmosphere. I think value for money isn’t great though - better for drinks & nibbles than a full dinner.
Not great overall, seems overrated and expensive. Small portions.
Blown away by how good the food was!
Lunch with friends. Great friendly service and answered questions about the menu very well and patiently.
Delicious food. Loved the bone marrow agnolotti and the lamb. Very relaxed experience and superb food reasonably priced. A local gem.
We went to the Dairy on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The service was amazing and the food was incredible. We had the tasting menu and it is fantastic value for money and the food was delicious and plentiful. Will definitely be going back.
The food was beyond reproach, imaginative, daring, exquisite. The wine (Gruner Veltliner) was poor and, by the glass, cost more than the bottle was bought for! We asked for the music to be turned down (we were alone in the restaurant) and it was, relunctantly it seemed, by about one decibel; the staff really ought to consider that whilst customers have control over what they want to eat, they have no such choice over the music which may or may not be to their taste!
Their sour-dough bread moistened with vapourous butter is legendary.
The lamb cooked in a marrow sauce was mouth-wateringly tender and absolutely delicious; the salad dressing had an exotic piquancy and tangy sweetness enhanced with herbal fragrance.
The stone crockery - "cool" and trendy - may lack in subtelty but keeps the food wonderfully warm.
The waitress was correct although somewhat detached; the main course of lamb was courtesouly brought by the excellent chef.
Fabulous food, well presented, delightful service but VERY LOUD! That's only reason I marked this down for ambience.
Really good service and great food. We wanted a seat outside which we had the option to have.
Had a delicious meal with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were very happy to cater to my food intolerances. The food was wonderfully fresh and beautifully presented. Will definitely go again.
Fabulous birthday dinner here. Wonderful food, wine and service.
I tried the tasting menu. Overall the food was good but did not have a coherant story. Too much bread and the chicken liver mouse was rather bland. The lamb was underseasoned. The service was rather poor. I was the first to walk in for lunch service. I had feeling that one of the servers was patronising me throughout the lunch service. And I did not eat the £5 cheese supplement but I was charged for this. Poor experience, will not recommend.
Love this restaurant and the Sunday menu is incredible value.
Excellent food again. The lamb was particularly good. My only complaint about The Dairy is that the wines are pretty expensive in general.
Great evening, lovely food and wine, at a reasonable price for a tasting menu.
Only minor issue was the drinks pairings being introduced on two occasions where our party was not complete at the table (as they were using the bathroom), meaning two of the party missed out on interesting information.
Hardly a night-spoiler though and we will definitely be back!
A delicious and interesting menu, with helpful staff, made our lunch at The Dairy a real treat. Thank you to the team there!
Service and food very slow ! We waited far to long between courses and we arrived early
My fist time for brunch. A very original menu, from which we had the pork cheeks with potatoes, egg and greens and it was excellent.
I didn't understand half of the menu, not sure what I ate, but it was one of the best meals I ever had :)
It's a very original menu and I like their whole food philosophy, but given the wording of the food descriptions, we had to ask for explanations of quite a lot of it. We may be dummies, but we are customers!
I’ve been to the dairy before but this was a first time for Sunday lunch. As usual it was excellent. Food is always top quality and the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. For the level of food I found it great value too. I definitely recommend the Dairy!
If you love food you must try the Diary. Elegantly prepared food that tastes sublime. Also their gluten free bread is delicious (words I thought I would never say ever!). My good to foodie heaven when foodie friends are in town.
We had the tasting menu and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was exceptionally good, all the waiters were very attentive, smiling and pleasant.
Would highly recommend The Dairy!
A nice venue and good staff. Unfortunately the food wasn't to my taste and the menu was quite restrictive. There was a lot of cheese and cream in most dishes and I had to send the monkfish back because it was incredibly salty.
Food and service was fantastic. The only slight downside was the drunk lady at the table next to us who kept spilling and breaking glasses
We absolutely loved our dinner, the food was exceptional and the restaurant had a great relaxed atmosphere!
Amazing food. Really adventurous choices, great local beer and a relaxed but buzzing atmosphere - Even on a Tuesday. I'd definitely go back.
The service was bang on and so was the food. they looked after the needs of my pregnant wife and I extremely well.
Food was amazing. The beef was sublime, but the roasted cabbage stole the show, which is something I never thought I would say as avid meat eater
Lovely Mother’s Day Meal, amazing food and great service. Good value for money!
Phenomenal food and service, always a joy to dine at the Dairy!
Delicious, inventive, perfectly cooked food in small portions, but enough. Attentive staff (though keen on the upsell). Bit noisy, so had to raise voice to speak (was a Saturday night though!), overall a really good restaurant.
Food is good but a Turkish egg brunch is one poached egg and carrots and veg. Very good but who serves one egg? Even in a normal breakfast two is the norm much less a significantly priced brunch dish. Disappointing!
Service was very slow but on the whole polite and trendy and good quality. Portion sizes guys!
We both had the braised beef cheek & crispy potatoes - delicious! The coffee was also 10/10
Great Mother’s Day brunch, fantastic tasty food and lovely friendly service.
Best local foodie spot in Streatham Hill!
Great atmosphere and food! Friendly staff.
The food was perfectly executed with impeccable timing.
Fresh produce, ingenuity, creativity is what's in your plate!
Will most definitely be back for more.
My fourth or fifth visit here so that should tell you how much I like it. Food as delicious as always, vibe still cosy and relaxed, service still friendly.
