Gorgeous as ever. 5* food and impeccable service. So reliable. Lovely ambience and no rush to finish.
It wasn't particularly cheap but worth it for the decor. We just had a prix fixe, limited choice, fairly plain but enjoyable.
A cover charge was added to the bill, as well as a 15% tip. The service was bad, we were late for the show but couldn't get a bill for about 20 minutes
A very enjoyable evening which became more enjoyable as the theatre crowd cleared out and the noise level dropped. The food, while not exceptional, was good enough to make the experience acceptable. The greatest asset of this restaurant is the staff who are welcoming and friendly without being intrusive.
It is such a beautiful experience, the food was lovely and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if you are seeing a show in the area, service was speedy without feeling rushed
Great as usual. Slightly odd you'd run out of Armagnac: a new take on supply chain issues!
This isn’t what it used to be. We came to get the beef stroganoff. It was just warm, and the beef wasn’t great quality. We ordered cocktails and a bottle of wine to go with the main but they brought the wine first without checking the order. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and we were really looking forward to returning.
This was my 3 visit in 4 weeks, as I enjoyed my previous visits. I decided to bring my wife for her birthday, they sat us by the entrance in the bar area which is not suitable for a occasion. When I request a new table as there were multiple empty ones in the main dining area, I was flatly rejected by the reception staff, then the service was ridiculously slow, after 2 courses, we then ordered dessert and we waited for over an age for it to arrive, I had to chase and the staff for an update, they informed me that there was an error in taking our order and the dessert was not prepared. But if we were prepared to wait longer, they’ll bring it out quickly, unfortunately the disappointing customer experience had dulled any appetite to wait longer. Ultimately a deeply disappointing customer experience to kick off my wife’s birthday weekend. Casual dining is fine, if it’s for a special occasion, be prepared to be disappointed by poor service. Overall this visit has ruined the previous positive impressions that I had of this restaurant.
Do not risk being being disappointed if you plan for a special occasion here, despite booking in as advance, they just sat us in the bar area by the entrance at a low bar table unsuitable for dining, near to drinkers/ non-diners. Just disappointing.
Not as good as it has been. Food was average but we love the restaurant. Maybe a blip
Had a brunch but would've loved more breakfast options at 11am.
We took our mother
Excellent Prix Fixe menu.Dervice by our server Miriam exemplary.
Best eggs benedict I have ever eaten and excellent service
Fabulous food and lovely service. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff made just the right amount of fuss.
Room is a bit noisy, but not too bad. No need to shout. A great place for a swift but elegant pre-theatre meal.
Lovelg food, lovely service
Amazing service, lovely staff & beautiful surroundings. Definitely a regular visit is required.
Amendment: After my 3rd visits in 30 days, unfortunately the high praise that I previously provided needs adjustment, service is hi and miss. Do not risk being being disappointed if you plan for a special occasion here, despite booking in as advance, they just sit you in the bar area by the entrance at a low bar table unsuitable for dining near to drinkers/ non-diners. Just disappointing.
The restaurant was very noisy.
The food was not correctly described on the menu.
Lovely food and every table busy - just like okd times
One of the most stylish and discreet dining rooms in London. Impeccable service. Excellent food. A delightful and relaxing atmosphere.
Loved this restaurant. Great vibe, excellent service and delicious food; all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely book again.
Brilliant just brilliant
Still one of the best places in town
Best place for schnitzels and Holstein
Great welcome! Good service. Delicious specials. Great ambience. Never disappoints
Been to The Delaunay many times and always have an excellent experience. Breakfast this time was as good as it always is.
Great breakfast with professional and welcoming service.
Fantastic Sunday lunch.
Great service, food, perfect
They have taken out the afternoon tea in their menu and the extensive tea selection. There’s nothing worth going there for now unfortunately. It’s old, dark, dated.
Nice restaurant and food, bit close to other diners....as in within 1mtr could hear them chewing. Apart from that nice venue
Somewhere which excels with the classic schnitzel must be good! Great for everyday dining and business lunches. Attentive service and loving the formality of the venue.
The Delaunay is one of my favourite restaurants in London. Always someplace my family enjoys as well. Highly recommend!
Everything has been marvellous especially their schnitzels. The only thing that disappointed me was the skinny oysters.
Luca always makes me feel welcome. The service is lovely, not cheap, but the portions are generous and they've skilled mixologists at the bar!
Very reliable, pleasant experience as good as it was before!
Wonderful meal, fantastic service! We had a lovely dinner here. I’ve been many times and will definitely be going back
The Delaunay - An all-time favourite and the perfect place to celebrate the last evening before lockdown 3.0. As always, lovely food and charming service in the beautiful setting.
It was great. Great service and venue
Great to be back. As always an amazing experience!! Food and ambiance perfect.
