The Delaunay - An all-time favourite and the perfect place to celebrate the last evening before lockdown 3.0. As always, lovely food and charming service in the beautiful setting.
It was great. Great service and venue
Great to be back. As always an amazing experience!! Food and ambiance perfect.
Always a lovely meal at The Delaunay.
Really good to be back at the Delaunay, best restaurant in London for Schnitzel by a mile. Usual great service and welcome.
So good to be back - wonderful as ever, in fact the stroganoff was better than ever.
Always perfect. It was one of the last to open. Now it has to close ☹️🙋🏻♂️
first restaurant visit since original lockdown. The Delaunay never disappoints. Incredibly clean, ensuring safety and peace of mind. We were very well looked after and the food was delicious as always
our regular pre theatre choice and never disappointed. Food is value, although London prices of course, but delicious; wines are naughty prices.
And service always good, but remember to tell them what time you need to be away.
Prompt and efficient; very nice food. Reminiscent of traditional Europe
We had a great experience at Delaunay. The service is super hospitable and the Austrian/European cuisine is superb. We all enjoyed our meals and it's great value for money. Would recommend to anyone.
Family Sunday Brunch. Really good menu but including all the usual breakfast and egg dishes as well as full roast and fish. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic staff and lovely food.

Brilliant meal with our family x
Excellent as always! In my opinion it's the best for quality and service in the Corbin and King group
Service slow to non existent.
Food came out late and cold.
Main area was far to noisy for a conversation.
The food and the service at the table was perfect. The hostess at reception was quite unpleasant. We were 10 minutes late for our reservation and she was most disagreeable about it whilst not finding our booking on the server. Otherwise it’s a lovely place!
Convenient for theatre but a little expensive overall for regular visits. Buzzing and busy and waiters/waitresses were delightful.
Great as always.
Fabulous after theatre dining. Great service very nice wine list. Had delicious chicken schnitzel with frites!!!k
Sunday lunch with friends. Great atmosphere, good choice of dishes for everyone. Couple of times the staff forgot little things like extra butter no big deal but we had five bottles of wine and the last one they didn’t top up once so we removed the service charge on that bottle. When spending £575 for the table (five people) we expect the service we are paying for. Other than that all was good and it would not stop us returning.
Fabulous food in a lovely setting
Slight problem with the initial table but quickly sorted
Great service and really helpful with meal choice - a la carte v special meal.
Always a good experience at this restaurant
beautiful restaurant with consistently good food and ambiance
Fabulous place - have not been before but food was excellent and service fantastic. Nothing to fault! 4 mintues from the theater as well!
Pleasant enough meal
Oysters very good
Schnitzel average
service and ambiance was good not sure it is worth the month
Delauney never disappoints. Good as ever. Great atmosphere good food and service and proper portions.
The Delaunay never disappoints - you are always welcomed like an old friend and pampered by the waiters without it ever feeling overbearing. The food is sumptuous and the ambience friendly and buzzy. Highly recommend
The chicken Schnitzel was lovely, as was the cucumber salad. My fellow diners had the fish goujons, and the beef stroganoff all said it was very good. The service was great, no request was too big or too small. Would go again. It's certainly not cheap but the food is very good, and the diners I was with have been a number of times before and say the food is consistently good.
Upmarket late breakfast with friends in the restaurant area of this all day dining venue. Great vegetarian breakfast, they helpfully substituted fried mushrooms for egg. Quiet mid morning but rapidly filled up by lunchtime. We could have stayed all day!
It was a delightful experience as usual however I do think the restaurant is squeezing in more tables and it’s as a result the experience isn’t what it used to be. Also I found it louder than usual but it was an early sitting so I hope it was just that 18:00 time slot.
You can always rely on fantastic service and good quality food and a menu that covers some old time favourites please don’t change we like you the way you are !
Food was very good and staff were good at getting us fed in time to get to the opera house without chasing. Our only disappointment was our table location which they couldn’t change. Would definitely recommend.
Took my cousin as a treat. Loved the enviroment and menu was a reminder of our grandmother. Thank u we loved our night
Went to the Delaunay mid afternoon Saturday when they were serving a number of menus - afternoon tea & the brunch. It feels like an all day brasserie. The restaurant is a classy operation and you pay for that. I would say that the charges are definitely on the high side eg charging a cover charge plus 12.5% service. But the service is slick and the food is good. A very reliable restaurant.
Service was quite slow but food was excellent and we enjoyed our pre theatre lunch.
Disappointing.
It was pleasant to be there and the mood was perfect!
Great afternoon tea experience
Staff are rude. They even got into a shouting match with a woman at another table who left something and came back for it after they’d stopped serving but had a lot of people still there. They told her she’d have to come back the next day to retrieve her purse. It disrupted the whole place.
very lacklustre food and largely disinterested staff.
Excellent food, wait staff was disinterested at best.
