What more can you ask for from this place?! Some great suggestions for pairings with the meals too, although not always available and some members of staff more knowledgable on the beers on offer than others. I wouldn't pick a restaurant on the quality of the toilets unlike other reviewers on here anyway...
The service and food is absolutely amazing. Very friendly, I really love it !
Uncomplicated food, tasty and although a very busy restaurant the service is attentive and nice. I will go back.
Good location and decor - the menu looks exciting too but the reality is disappointing. No atmosphere, average food and slow, unfriendly service - particularly from the bar.
We had a lovely meal for 5. The service was excellent, the food and drink very nice. However, the toilet (only one as one toilet was out of order) were so dirty and disgusting we will probably not be returning. Worse than anything I've seen in a long time, smelly, grimy and the soap container was leaking onto the floor making the floor slippery. The grime in the corners and around the sink suggested that cleaning only consists of a quick "wipe down" of larger surfaces and the floor. Not acceptable for somewhere that sells food. My husband said the men's urinal did not smell and the smell was disgusting. I've dined at this pub before and don't remember it being like this, so hopefully they will improve.
The foot long pork scratchings were good (although not, as my husband pointed out, a foot long).
The burger I had was pretty sub-standard - that tough compacted quality which normally indicates a burger hasn't been hand made.
Ribs were said to be good though.
The drafthouse is a very popular pub on the Northcote Road. Food was great, exactly the kind of menu you'd expect from a pub. Great to have foods matched to beers. All well cooked and well presented. Not too fancy. Good for a relaxed leisurely gastro pub type experience. Service good.
We've been here a couple of times and the burgers are some of the best in London.
Onion rings are quite good too, and wash it all down with some of their excellent beers.
Always a good variety and usually some unique options.
We arrived early for our table at the Draft House but were seated and served with no hassle. The food, although tending towards burgers and steaks, had something for everyone. Very much good pub food without being gastro. All was freshly prepared and cooked and the service was excellent. No time wasted trying to get the bill and then paying (one of my pet hates). All in all a good evening with helpful and efficient staff.
We went to the Draft House/Clapham to try its burgers - their look as they were being brought to the table was promising, and the taste didn't disappoint. There were about 6 different varieties of burgers to choose from, and the fries are also worth a mention. I'm not much of a beer drinker but the very wide selection was a hit with my beer-drinking friends. We paid £18 for a burger, fries and a beer, which is not cheap but what you'd expect to pay in a good place. Staff also pleasant.
Second visit - another very tasty burger. Fairly pricey for burger, chips and a pint but get what you pay for arguably. Decent service and atmosphere.
Perfect or a Saturday night dinner with friends
Excellent pub with great selection of beers, ales and stouts from London and interesting breweries around the world.
Good pub grub, including excellent burgers, steaks and daily specials. What they do, they do well.
Outdoor area good for summer evenings.
I've eaten here many times and will return again and again. A local stalwart.
great gastropub with 11 beers on tap and more in bottles. beer/menu pairings. excellent altogether!
The food is very good; burgers and 'pub-fair' done extremely well. But the real draw is the beer menu - an extremely wide choice that might be daunting if it wasn't for the helpful and knowledgable staff. The also do all their draft in 1/2 and 1/3 pint sizes so the curious can try a wide range without ending the night under the table.
Always a good atmosphere but it was empty on a Monday evening. The staff are attentive and friendly and the Monday burger deal was great. Food always yummy so will keep going back.
We went as a group and the restaurant were very accommodating as its not a big place. The food is meaty and tasty. Interesting selection of craft beers recommended to go with the meal. Nice that waiter told us that one of the recommended beers was quite strong and expensive, so we were pre warned. Good night out.
The Draft House in Clapham Junction is a lovely pub, with a great selection of beers. The food menu isn't that extensive, but it's good pub grub. And very friendly waiting staff.
I visit the Draft House for a fairly relaxed Valentine's Day meal and it didn't disappoint. The food is excellent but what really makes it stand out is the personable service - it is excellent. Arguably second to none.
Excellent food and very friendly service. The Scotch egg was fantastic and done to perfection. I don't drink beer but my husband was impressed by the long list on offer and happily sampled a variety throughout dinner.
My girlfriend and I had another magnificent meal at The Draft House in Clapham yesterday evening. As usual, the food and drinks were all excellent. Their pork scratchings are the best I have ever tasted and the 'Smoke' burgers are definitely destination-worthy. Cooked perfectly, the only way these could be improved is if the Brioche buns were sweeter, à la Millers Bespoke Bakery (hence 9, instead of 10 out of 10 for the food). The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with it.
Good, hearty fare on offer at The Draft House in Clapham. We had the fish and chips which were so huge we couldn't manage the second course that comes with the offer. Good, friendly and accommodating service. Only criticism would be that the menu could perhaps be extended to offer more choice for non-meat eaters.
I visited drafthouse last week and love it. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. I ate steak and fries and it was delicious. With the top table deal it's very reasonable. Would recommend.
The Toptable menu looked like pretty good value, so we decided to try the Draft House near Clapham Junction. The menu was rather limited - only two or three options from the starters or mains. The food was reasonable - generous portions, and it was nice to see unusual dishes on the menu (you don't see too many German/Austrian restaurants around). Without the set menu it would have been quite expensive, so I'd say it's decent but I won't rush back.
Atmosphere was good and service was very good, wlthough we did have to ask for toptable menu as we were given general menu.
Food was tasty (except for the foot long scratchings!!) and good portions, however limited choice on set menu. Overall it was OK.
We had an enjoyable late meal at The Draft House. Good service, huge portions, good atmosphere. Will return.
They sure know how to cook meat! the meat plate for two is awesome! pork scratchings is also a treat! would come here time and time again. they have a huge variety of beer on offer however on the expensive side.
Fun place and good steak.
Great beers and an absolutely FAN-TAS-TIC cote de boeuf (rib on the bone)!
Great place, but disappointed with the ribs!
Good pub food, nice and different beers and great service. I would definitely return.
The draft house on northcote road is friendly and relaxed. The £14.75 for three courses is great value for money. However the vegetarian options were both goats cheese which was a bit unoriginal and not very interesting for my vegetarian companion. Also something was burnt in the kitchen and the whole restaurant was filled with smoke at one point which wasn't very pleasant. But overall it was a nice meal and great value for money.
Draft House in Battersea was good. Good selection of beers. Food above average.
Good food from an interesting menu. Old favourites made delicious with a modern twist. Great spot for a relaxed weekend chill out or for catching up with friends.
The draft house is a cool place to chill out with a beer or to eat, very relaxed good menu and service....
I loved this place, great place within 10 min walking distance from Clapham Junction station. Great if you are with friends, family or partner. The food was amazing very fresh and tlc put into the presentation. As it was a set menu it was extremely good value for money and would definately be going back!

Great Food, nice staff and really good value for money! I would definately go again and would recommend to friends ... very relaxing evening!
The Draft House, Northcote Road, Clapham
Nice casual surroundings with friendly, helpful staff and relaxed laid back atmosphere. Good food well worth a visit.
I visited the Draft House in Clapham last week for a quick dinner with a friend. The service was very good and the food pretty good too. My only criticism was that it was perhaps a bit overpriced for what we got.
