   Great Sunday roast but would be even better if cauliflower cheese was added or an additional side item for purchase … I also felt the lack of Haloween decorations was disappointing as this is widely celebrated in the U.K. now.

   Visited for Sunday roast. In my opinion a roast needs good roasted potatoes, crispy and fluffy inside. These were very poor. Barely brown at all and v hard.I asked for them to be replaced, however they were just the same. V pale v hard. For this reason I would not return for a Roast. Pub and staff however were great.

   We used to come here years ago when it had a fantastic reputation for tapas, then it changed hands a few times but thought we would try it again. Nowhere as near as busy as you would expect for a Sat night, which was surprising. We had a selection of tapas in the bar, the chorizo egg was good and the prawns but given the price of the chicken skewers at £9 the size was pitiful, even the peppers at £6 was very small. The tapas are tasty but too pricey, so will probably goback to my local tapasbar in Ealing

   This was our second visit. The first time I had seafood paella and it was absolutely delicious so I ordered it again this time. Sadly it was not nearly so good. It was overcooked, which spoilt the flavour. The other dishes which came looked delicious. Service was very good, particularly good for food served in a pub. Dogs are welcome, which was lovely for me as I have a dog. There were lots of patrons with dogs. although the pub was pretty full, the noise level was moderate and there was enough gap between tables in the bar area for the noise not to be intrusive.

    Am a regular here but the service was below par vs a visit two weeks ago. Having to repeat the order, cutlery for the main course and the wine order had to be repeated, were examples of the substandard service. The cost of wine on the menu was not the price charged (£2 more) (the menu had not been updated ref recent price increase) so overall it was a little disappointing as the party included overseas guests whose expectations were high.

    I do love this restaurant and the food is good and varied! We had 5 starters all non meat and a house bottle of white it came to £96 for two I think sadly it’s getting over priced!!

    Not as good as it used to be. No croquettas on an already limited tapas menu at 1pm on a Sunday.

    Staff were great food not so much. We haven’t eaten there for a couple of years but the quality of food has definitely deteriorated. It was all very bland and the veg paella tasted of rice and tomato purée and little else. It’s not cheap either so would expect more. Everyone at the table was disappointed with their food except the chips. The chips were fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience is great. Would go again for chips and drinks but not for main meals.

    Great pub with a fabulous large outdoor area that provides a fab eating and drinking experience. Our waitress Niya made us feel welcome and took good care of us. We had fish & chips which were ok, although a bit over-battered and with only a small piece of fish. The beef burger was very tasty and the drinks were fine.

    Once a brilliant purveyor of tapas, this was a pale immitation of past lunches. The reduced menu now only has a few tapas left and some of those use a too much chilli (always a sign a chef doesn't trust his or her flavours). There are now no berenjenas, the chocolate dip for the churros was curdled and the neglectful service depended on the only polite waitress being available. Feels like there's abeen a change of managament. And not in a good way. A hundred and thiry five quid for three adults and one child, with a beer and a G&T the only alcohol. You decide.

    I love the Duke. It’s a really attractive pub with a nice bar (with big windows) and a beautiful dining area. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. I had fish and chips (delicious, light batter, not at all greasy) and my dining companion had the beef burger (which he said was very good). And it’s so cosy there!

    Overall a decent night but we really came to try some of their tapas menu, when I went to the bar to order I was told food was stopped as the kitchen is overwhelmed. None of this was mentioned earlier and menus were still on the tables, some warning would have been preferable as we would've happily ordered and waited. It seems the Duke struggles with informing punters/staffing as this is not the first of staff not being able to advise or help customers which is a shame as it's a really nice pub

    The food was lacking, a poor burger with a very ungenerous portion of chips. The roast chicken was good but the roast potatoes were rock hard and the greens were full of stalks - not pleasant at all. The veg really let the chicken down Service was lacking with the waiter unable to ‘read’ a not very full dining room. A waitress joined the team and she appeared to have more experience and finally things began to happen Overall from a good dining room with good tasty food it all seems to have gone terribly wrong; which is very sad.

    Unfortunately this was a very disappointing visit to a usually great pub - avoid Sunday night - no more food and very noisy quizz night
