The Dysart Petersham has recently undergone a complete interior refurbishment, bringing back to life as many of the original Arts and Crafts elements of the building as possible to set a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. Our menus change daily, freshly cooked to order by our Head Chef and his team, emphasising freshness, the seasons, well balanced flavours, ethical sourcing and country values. We have a garden and a forager who provide local Petersham grown produce to our chef.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service very good. The food wasn't as good as other times we've had lunch here. We won't be coming back because they don't allow buggies in the restaurant, so not very family friendly. They say this is because they don't have enough space, which is not true. They allow dogs, though.

Once again a lovely evening at the Dysart. We had the tasting menu which is fantastic - well balanced, fresh, inventive without being ridiculous.

Staff very attentive yet unobtrusive, food tasty and interesting, wine likewise. Fully deserves the description "fine dining", and will be going again soon to have another delightful meal/experience.

Great welcome, great food, and quietly efficient service throughout.
Staff always go the extra mile to make a visit into an ocasion, even when a casual meal at short notice.
And the food always has extra twists too with inventive sauces and accompaniments; as well as the dependable recurrence of freshly baked soda bread.
All most enjoyable.

Divine! Enjoyed a special Birthday dinner here and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and innovative (and the presentation stunning). Wine selection and pricing outstanding. Claudia could not have been any more helpful or friendly. A perfect meal enjoyed with live music in a romantic setting... I couldn't have wished for more! I'd recommend the venison and wild stone bass with Sauce Jacqueline.

Given the reviews we’d read we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The venue has promise but for the prices charged the whole experience needs to be considerably enhanced.

Visually, stylish, posh pub venue. Dishes that compete with the best restaurants of London. Unusual and surprising tastes delivered by a kitchen committed to creative cooking.

We were celebrating both a wedding anniversary and a birthday so it was a special occasion for us.

The menu had plenty of choice and the kitchen was able to adapt some to items to special dietary needs with apparent ease.

Good, well-prepared and presented food.

The cheese board is outstanding.

The English sparkling wine made a delicious aperitif and the other wines were excellent and well-presented (decanted red wine for example).

A most accommodating and helpful maître d' (Barney) who looked after us in an exemplary way.

Although we spent quite a lot of money on this meal, it was a special occasion and we were happy with that, but if you stick to the set menus we can have a very good meal for quite reasonable sum.

Highly recommended.

The Dysart has a very talented chef who produces some gorgeous dishes. Some have an Asian influence, such as the charred mackerel with comb-braised daikon, ginger and champagne sauce. Others are more conventional, but over many visits here I have been impressed with the consistency. The dining room has a fire and well-spaced tables, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended. As a bonus, there is an unusually kindly priced wine list.

I am very happy to report that following a previous visit that had not lived up to expectations, we were invited back and the service and quality of food was once again exactly what we have come to expect.

Thankfully, I have no hesitation in once again singing the praises of the food and recommending The Dysart Arms to friends.

Thank you for reminding us why we enjoy your restaurant.

Exquisite taste combinations. Don't go if you are in a hurry as you want to savor every bite. This was our first lunch at the Dysart and it's great value if you are looking for a cheaper option and want the same dinner experience. It was a lovely sunny day and we enjoyed looking out on Richmond Park. We love The Dysart and feel fortunate it is so close to us.

Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant. The quality of food is superior and the service very attentive. We had a table by the fireplace so it was very cosy. It’s an old building with plenty of character but fully modernised inside. Great location, just across from Richmond Park where you can go for a stroll after your meal. Plenty of parking available on site.

This is fast becoming a favourite. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here with the tasting menu and matched wines. A well thought out menu, superbly balanced with wine with some very pleasant surprises on both the food and the drink front. The tasting menu means tried things we never normally would and was well worth it. All delicious and beautifully served. Staff create a lovely atmosphere - no prevention, no fuss but special.

Super restaurant / gastro pub.

Service was unusually professional. The waiter thoroughly explained the dishes and ingredients. In particular, with prompt, detailed the ingredients that were not vegetarian (my wife is pescatarian).

Our son was home from Spain on business and this happened to coincide with his birthday, so we booked a family meal at this lovely restaurant. After Retro in Teddington closed, this has now become our favourite special occasion restaurant within the locale. The food is fabulous, beautifully cooked and presents, service delightful and the ambience comfortable and elegant. Surely a Michelin Star cannot be far away for this smoothly run establishment with its excellent chef.
