Good service and nice atmosphere. Food was OK but the starter of calamari was not nice
We were given a warm welcome as soon as we walked in and throughout our Sunday lunch the service continued to be warm, friendly and attentive. Our food was very good and exceeded our expectations.
We’ll definitely return for more.
Excellent Sunday roast. Outstanding service from a lovely girl (big smile, black hair).
Only let down was the dessert. Sticky toffee.. It was so dry I couldn’t swallow it. Such a shame, almost perfect.
Ate here on Saturday the 17th as in the area for the rugby excellent food friendly attentive staff would recommend
Very enjoyable evening meal, some very tasty beers as well. The service was exceptional. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future. Highly recommended.
Shame . The staff are excellent. Friendly. No adequate service recovery for the poor food served.
Great buzz to the place. But felt the menu lacked variance and fresh seasonal produce with the mains section. Also the pigs in blanket starter was out of stock and we arrived at our table at 7pm!!
Good food & very good service in a nice atmosphere.
Hadn’t been here for some time and were pleased to return. Friendly efficient service and good food. Squid as a starter was great as was the terrine. We then had fish cakes with poached egg, French Fries and fine beans. Well presented, good portions and very tasty. Shared a dessert of sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Only criticism is that the cheese with Eccles cake was not available and they had no alternative cheese course.
We booked for 430 on a Sunday pm.when we arrived at 415 restaurant full but told 10 minutes and table would be free.
25 minutes later told the restaurant was full with a birthday party and we would have to eat in the bar surrounded by customers drinking .
Eventually a table was found in the small bar next to the restaurant.10 minutes into the experience the party started crowding round us as they chatted post party.
We should have been told about the party when we booked.
A great food offering spoiled by greed and lunch with my family spoiled.
Great service very accommodating for my baby buggie. Good food , but a shame about the chunkie chips and deconstructed cheesecake . Prefer traditional chips and cheesecake .
I come here often as my local pub, love the garden area in the summer and the service is great and friendly .
Great Sunday roast the beef and chicken were both fantastic. Really delicious.
The Sunday Roast is just superb. It is a couple of quid more expensive than comparable pubs, but worth every penny
Met a friend after work. Definitely worth the drive to this wonderful pub. Staff are polite, attentive and friendly. The choice of wine by the glass is delicious and the food was delicious. If I lived nearer I would frequent this pub a lot more.
I was a bit underwhelmed by Ealing Park Tavern. Overall the food quality was fairly good but the ambience really let it down. It wasn't particularly full or buzzy for a Saturday night - just a bit dead. The restaurant itself was also incredibly bright with full lighting cover, so not particularly atmospheric either. I ordered a G&T which tasted very odd. I thought the glass had possibly been in the dishwasher with food plates and picked up a residue of something there. It was changed immediately without hesitation so that was good; service overall was good. On booking the Open Table form asked if it was for a special occasion and I mentioned it was a birthday celebration, but this didn't elicit any acknowledgement. Won't be rushing back.
Had a really good Sunday roast here . Lovely Yorkshire puds and really great cauliflower cheese . I’m veggie so can’t comment on the meat but the other diners had beef which they said was very good .
The kids fish and chips was excellent too
Will go back and would recommend
Delicious food overal including for people like me who are vegetarians. But chips cooked in same oil as fish is not what I would have expected and of course not acceptable for vegetarians. Decor comprising stuffed animals in glass cases and heads of animals on the walls is passé and not appealing to those who value animal life. So a good place to eat bar these two drawbacks.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The food was excellent but what really stood out was the quality of the service.
Will be back soon!
Loved it! Highly recommend would definitely go again
We had a very pleasant late lunch on bank holiday Monday. The menu was varied with a good selection of dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about dishes.
A great place to take friends for a get together. In easy walking distance from our house.
This was going to be something special - to show our friend from the Continent what gourmet pub food could produce... the roast potatoes were soggy and anaemic looking - and we left a lot on our plate unfinished. The extras = French fries and green beans were good though - but extra... Service was quick, and discrete, and because there were few others there, the place was quiet... no blasting music thank goodness...
Just, the food didn't blast, which, for the cost, was a shame... Perhaps that's why there were so many tables unoccupied... Shame - used to be top notch.
Disappointed with the quality of the food and the long wait between the starter and main course
Staff were however very pleasant
restaurant and bar good but the garden could do with a makeover.
Good food and friendly service. We sat outside where the atmosphere was very relaxed, there were things for the children to do and they wandered about freely. A very enjoyable lunchtime outing.
Good food but the decor quite dated and not too keen on the stuffed animals on display on the walls
I had an amazing smoked trout and cucumber salad, so perfect for a hot evening.
Not huge portion so it left room for a small pudding.
Honey icecream was amazing, slightly caramel and beautifully sweet.
Haven't been for a while and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The service was extremely good.
Special deal: 50% off food. Generous portions. Friendly service. Forgot to include a beer and service on the bill. Negatives: quite lively and therefore a bit noisy. Some dishes and my first choice of beer was not available.
The dining room is light and airy and eclectic looking so good to sit in. Three of us had the roast and one had the bream. Our gluten free companion had to do without gravy as no option but they brought extra mint sauce for her. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and attentive through the meal. The only thing was the food was a bit average. Roast potatoes were a bit big for my liking and slightly under cooked. The carrots were cooked well but a bit big also, that is ok I guess just not very elegant looking. The pudding was dark chocolate mouse with praline and unaccountably came sitting on a piece of sponge. Not mentioned on the fish description and did not add to it.
Just need to get chef a bit better and all will be good.
Very good food. Too longer wait for meal. Well over half an hour for Sunday roast.
Drink Yes. Food No (Monday to Saturday).
I really like the atmosphere here. Lovely old pub. Great for a drink.
Sunday menu is good typical gastro-pub.
However... they have a different menu Monday to Saturday in the lovely looking restaurant. Because it's expensive I thought I'd try something different and had the Game. I thought it was horrible and wished I'd just had a steak or something.
Went back again this weekend and had the steak. I love my steaks... and there's nothing more disappointing than having something you usually love, that you dont enjoy. It was very gristly and chewy, and I had to leave some of it. It's expensive here and even worse because you have to pay extra if you want any vegetables. My wife had fishcake. Again expensive. She thought it was ok, but not worth the high prices.
I'm local so really want this place to be good. Shame.
The servers were very attentive and service was quick. Menu is not extensive but enough of a choice.
We organised a friends lunch for before the Brentford QPR game and the staff and service were superb. Helpful tips and advice on ordering, drinks came to the table quickly and all done and dusted and on our way with time to spare for the match. Post game beer garden was fantastic.
We spent a long time (more than 1 hour) to wait the main course. After complaining several time, they only offered some drink free. However, they made one mistake and list "Main 4", which cose GBP 48 on my bill. We didn't order this "Main 4". I didn't notice this fee when I paid the bill, and I have no time to go backand ask for refund. I understand it is also my mistake not to check the bill in details but how come they put the item which is not mine on my bill?
Been for dinner twice and found it very good. This time was for Sunday lunch and it didn't let down. Same good ambience and good food. Well worth a visit.
Although they had a large party to serve at the same time as us so we were waiting a long time for our food, the staff were really helpful and looked after us. Great dining room for a Sunday roast in the area!
The food was ok but overall pretty average, we’ve visited the pub for drinks before but never eaten there. To be honest we’ve had better food in the area at a better price, so we probably won’t bother to eat here again.
We wanted to go somewhere that we had not tried but was reasonably close.
we were here to celebrate a special occassion and although it was windy and snowy outside we had an excellent meal with a good bottle of wine. Loved the roast potatoes.
My daughter is vegan so it would have been nice to have seen a dessert for her other than sorbet. Not quite the night for it
staff were friendly and attentive
We had a great time at the Ealing Park Tavern , only marred by the fact there was no heating on what was one of the coldest days of the year !
It probably helped that we were a small, already "jolly" party and was just about the only complaint, but a big one. I would probably go again, either in summer, or with a guarantee that the heating was working !
Came in for Mother's Day for some food and drinks and the experience surpassed my expectations... the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was perfect, couldn't fault anything! The overall vibe of the pub was lovely too, cosy and calm!
