The Farmer's Daughter
Philadelphia magazine's Best of Philly® 2013 - Best Suburban Brunch
They were very nice and friendly.
Second occasion and every bit as great as the first visit.
Very nice time and brunch is always great! They made a cake for my moms birthday which was unexpected and very nice!
Loved it! Service excellent, food delicious.
Really enjoyed having Sunday Brunch at this restaurant! Nice atmosphere and for a buffet style the food was very good!
Amazing meal and wonderful servers!
Always a nice, comfortable place to have a wonderful meal.
From the start of meeting the hostess to the dessert. And everything in between was excellent.
Food A+,Service A+,Hospitality 10, definitely would recommend it to a friend. Would love to witness a wedding there.
An excellent menu with lots of choice ; service was attentive as always
Loved the look of the food as well as the taste. I will say the restaurants pricing is pretty high so we can’t go as often as we would like
We have always wanted to try the Farmer's Daughter since we moved to the area. We had family in from out of town so we decided to treat ourselves. The dining room is beautiful. Even with a wedding at the venue in the same complex, we still felt like we had our own space. The food was fantastic and fresh. Service was top notch :)
We cannot wait to go again!
What a local gem, perfect for almost any occasion. I have never had a bad meal or experience going to the Farmer’s Daughter.
Everything here is fantastic! A little pricey but well worth it! Our service was excellent and wonderful martini s! I will definitely be back!
LOVED it - It was a little pricey to bring my children who don't eat much to the buffet. I would go with my husband again in a heartbeat!
Me and girlfriends had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. Drinks were a little costly, but delicious and a few good choices. It was nice to not be rushed or ignored. And we didn't smell like breakfast after we left. Their desserts were top notch! All displays were beautiful!
Meals were slow to come out. Scallops were too salty. One steak was cold.
Excellent food and service, however, seldom dine out and for the price of the food/entrees, gen too noisy with young kids and people on their phones. If I wanted that type of experience, I'd go to cheesecake factory for a lot less. Understand it's difficult for rest mgmt to control that aspect.
What the hell is a special. Oh, the specials tonight are.......and the NEVER tell how much they cost. Why not? Are they special because they didn't sell the previous nights? Anyway, I had to ask how much the specials were and our waiter, Lindsey, who we loved, told us. I ordered one of them, the pork chop, and it was tender and perfectly cooked. It was my birthday and everything was very nice. First time I had been there.
Absolutely my favorite restaurant, remarkable, a "diamond in the rust"! Exceptional!!
While the food was fresh, delicious and presented beautifully, the service was awful. I probably wouldn't go back for that reason.
The food and service was rather disappointing.
I would recommend dinner, but not brunch. The food was not hot on the buffet table
First time here for dinner, after attending a few events and weddings. Our duck spring rolls were cold and after my wife and I sent them back, they returned the same ones after reheating them. Didn’t think to give us a new order? Really? My entree of the duck ragout was bland and lacked any seasoning. My wife had a very average crab cake. Our server, Cortney, was great and loved the atmosphere, but the food was lacking inspiration for sure. Too many other options in the area that have much better meals at this price point. Very disappointed!
We were impressed by the creativity of the food on a recent weekend date night. We shared the apple parsnip soup, the burrata, the tuna, and the short rib sliders, all well executed. Service was helpful and attentive. Seating was comfortable and noise was not a problem. We'll be back!
First time visiting this restaurant. It was a great experience from the greeting to paying the bill at the end. The food was delicious and different from a traditional restaurant, worth the time and money spent. Will definitely be coming back.
Great place for lunch and dinner! Enjoying the food and service every visit
We had a very good server. The Apple Salad with espresso dressing was great. All other entrees, sides and salads where mediocre, Some came cold , some over done to point of dried out. I expected more for the prices and reviews I have read.
Great food, great service!
My mom and I went there and we both REALLY enjoyed our meal. The menu was so varied that we had a hard time deciding what to get and what we did choose was delicious. We both said that we want to go back to try some of the other dishes. I would absolutely RECOMMEND!
I have now been to this restaurant twice, once for a business lunch and once for their Sunday brunch. Everything is fantastic. The food is so fresh and worth every penny. I will definitely be returning for special occasions.
The best brunch in Montgomery county
Everything was excellent and the chefs catered to the allergies of one of the minor children when informed of the peanut allergy issue. In fact, the chef even cooked up a special desert for this child.
We sat in the bar due to the size of our party and were waited on by Andrew and Brandon. They were
very positive and we wanted for nothing. Thank you very much. Tom Haney.
Ordered goat cheese cigars, bacon flatbread & salmon sliders...all absolutely delicious!!!
The server, Andrew was lovely, He did not address the three of us (women) as "guys" which seems to be the norm for just about any restaurant these days. He was genuine, polite, attentive and knew the menu. The food was nothing to write home about- We had no drinks, no dessert, and the bill 66$- ridiculous! My sister had salmon BLT, my friend had a chicken salad sandwich and I had a cup of soup, crab cake and hot tea. I had not been there is quite awhile so thought we would give it another try. Disappointing to say the least! Andrew was the best thing about the lunch aside from no crowds, not noisy and we were able to stay awhile. I won't be back again now.
I didn't appreciate drinking out of mason jars either. Just because this had been a farm doesn't mean reducing yourself to that level. My sister and brother-in-law had a farm turned vineyard for over 40 years and we never drank out of masons jars!
Holiday dinner with family
The only complaint we had was that they were out of 2 of the menu items that we wanted to order. It would have been nice if the server told us that when she gave us the specials. Other than that, the food was great and our server was very nice
Holiday Dinner with good friends and family.
The branzino was extremely salty. Main course took over 25 minutes to deliver. I wasn’t going to complain after waiting 25 minutes. Extremely disappointed and will not return
