The Four Horseshoes

Awesome as usual. The seating outside is nicely placed and whilst its cold at the moment there is good outside heating. Great to see the menu again!

There was only one heater between all the tables. Would not return until allowed to sit indoors.

As always Justin and the great team at The Four Horseshoes came back with style and accounted themselves with aplomb under difficult circumstances.

Food and service all very good. Lovely pub great location. Never had a bad meal and will be our new local.

Fantastic food and a perfect location (very near some superb dog walks). We ate in the bar area as we had our two dogs with us, and had a fantastic meal.

My girlfriends and I were able to meet, eat and feel normal in an environment which was bloody brilliant.
Our afternoon felt safe and a little haven in this ever changing world.

Crispy Camembert was too cold and thus disappointed

Great pub with great food and very friendly staff who go above and beyond. Outdoor eating space in December had a holiday feel to it which I can see could become a permanent feature way after the current pandemic restrictions. Highly recommended.

Love going to my local pub. It has been the only place that I have visited this year during lockdown. You can count on the Shoes for great food and fantastic service.

Great place and great food! We sat in the new outdoor area which was great lots of heaters and felt really Christmassy. The food was lovely I had the roast turkey and my boyfriend had the fish and chips , then of course had to have a the crumble for dessert which was delicious. Already booked to go back between Christmas and new year with the family. A great place to catch up with friends and family outside with the current restrictions .

As always a lovely evening with great service and food.

My food was cold. Not just the starter but also the main course. I asked for the starter to be reheated which it was but the main course (burger) was cold and I couldn't face waiting whilst my wife finished her meal. On a positive note, the chips were hot. Unfortunately the diet coke was flat and so was its replacement.
Really needed somebody to come over and say some smoothing words but that didn't happen which was a shame as the atmosphere inside was lovely.

We love the 4 horseshoes it is one of our favourite places for beer and food we had as always a first class meal on Friday, the service was good and it nice to have a quick catch up chat with Justin and the pub looked absolutely beautiful Until the next time :-) x

Superb as ever

We love the "Shoes". Always quality food, lovely staff & well managed Covid measures.
It was our 1st night out following the latest lock down & their 1st night open but they had a very varied menu & it was great to see it busy. We'll be back before Christmas.

Great care has been taken to help ensure the safety of diners. Restaurant has lots of character, Good experience.

Lovely restaurant with a good choice of vegan food. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to coming again when we are allowed.

Food is always good, although the drinks are a little expensive!

£27 for a steak with 10 chips and a bit of rocket come on. £5 for 2 peppercorn sauces no way.Now your are having a laugh.

Very good and pleased with the portion size we had hake and chips and peas which was nicely cooked and well presented. Service very quick and waitress very pleasant .
