   Fantastic experience and friendly staff. Was our third anniversary and they gave us a card and a dessert for free which was a lovely gesture

   Usual decent to good fare. Large portions. Good Sunday roast beef with great roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Ghost Ship non alcoholic was very welcome. A little on the pricey side and just under 10 pounds for child portion of pasta is a bit stiff although it was a big portion. Perhaps smaller and cheaper is a better idea. Great very helpful service.

   A very average roast! The lamb was chewy and the mint jelly absent. My wife was disappointed. My beef was reasonable and roast spuds ok. The table was stuck next to a service passage with view into a prep area for one guest. We asked for the curtain covering the entrance to the be pulled but it kept being pulled back. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. And common to many restaurants these days Yorkshire puddings looked impressive but were tasteless. We left a tip for our waitress but would be unlikely to return as it is a 20 minute drive for us.

   Our booking was at 7.30pm which is not that late, some food in the a la carte menu wasn’t available by this time - we weren’t offered to look at their main menu either. Other than this, the service and the food quality were all amazing! Nice local restaurant with great ambiance and food! Definitely recommend

   We seemed to have to wait along time for the order to taken and again for the food to arrive. From sitting down at 3pm the main meal arrived @4.05pm Waitress was pleasant but seems like she would rather be somewhere else like all the staff really. Screaming children on the table behind us but again they were waiting for food and was told the garden area was busy.

   Excellent experience. Our food was so tasty and a good choice of dishes. Service was excellent and very friendly waiting staff. Good choice of wines but could be more choice of cocktails would be my only criticism . I would highly recommend this restaurant
