   We seemed to have to wait along time for the order to taken and again for the food to arrive. From sitting down at 3pm the main meal arrived @4.05pm Waitress was pleasant but seems like she would rather be somewhere else like all the staff really. Screaming children on the table behind us but again they were waiting for food and was told the garden area was busy.

   Excellent experience. Our food was so tasty and a good choice of dishes. Service was excellent and very friendly waiting staff. Good choice of wines but could be more choice of cocktails would be my only criticism . I would highly recommend this restaurant

   Lovely pub and one of our favourites, but having booked a table for 8.45pm in a Friday we were told when we were seated that we only had 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. This should probably have been flagged to us in advance of our arrival as the whole experience felt very rushed, with the lowpoint being a waitress asking us to handover our napkins just as we’d finished our dessert, while they were still on our laps…! As a regular visitor this was a very below par experience, and I’d certainly think twice before rebooking, which is really disappointing to say.

   Having seen all the positive reviews We were looking forward to dining here for a special celebration for son’s 18th birthday. Seated relatively quickly, waited 25 mins and had to request someone to take a drinks order. Once order taken , starter arrived relatively quickly , 50 mins before main course arrived , food was quite tasty but very small portion sizes. No suggestion when ordering that we should have ordered sides with the meal. We didn’t have dessert. Overpriced particularly in view of service received. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

   A very good experience, a choice of tables was a nice touch, being as 1st table was draughty adjacent to an open door. Good advice on choices of non alcohol beers. Excellent meal, no rush at all, Thoroughly lovely staff, exceptional head of staff

   Staff were a little slow to get drinks once seated, but overall service good, food delicious and atmosphere vibrant but could still talk easily. A wonderful evening for a 50th birthday!

    First time here, but will return some day. We really can't fault it. A lovely environment, great service and the food was really delicious and well presented. A bit more pricey than some places, but worth it.
