Good service and food came out fast. Crispy Squid was delicious.
Meat was awful. Fatty and over cooked. And for £24 i expected alot more. Pretty gutted as i heard so many good things about this place!
I like this pub and the service was great. But the hen of the woods main was appalling value. Tasteless mushroom as a main with some chips. Normally almost £20. We ordered as part of the Eat out to help out scheme but even then, it was so overpriced and disappointing. Other than that, the atmosphere and service were great.
Fantastic food in a gorgeous setting. Will be back!
Great service and the food was amazing!
Friendly staff and a popular, buzzy place. Food is interesting, and there will be something for everyone.
Went for Sunday roast and was lovely!
Fantastic doggie friendly place with great food and upmarket ambience.
Food and service are always great. Good place for a quick drink or a lazy Sunday brunch!
Very good food. Service wasn’t amazing but what would be expected from a busy pub.
Cedric, our waiter, was awesome. Very accommodating for a family with two babies and a big pram. Excellent food, loved the specials.
Very good and casual atmosphere
Was in London for work and was staying in the area. I ended up having dinner 3 times at the Grazing Goat. Once by myself, 2 other with colleagues. We all had fantastic meals and drinks.
Amazing Beef Wellington!
Lovely place. Excellent pie. Smoked salmon starter could have done with some butter or different bread (bit dry).
A friend recommended this place and it was phenomenal- British food has improved drastically for sure.
I had the Venison and a salad and my team mates had the same plus salads. Great wine list and we sat upstairs at a large round table.
The only odd thing was that our Open table reservation did not show up in the restaurants reservations listing.
However, they were very gracious and found us a nice table for a lovel meal.
Had a lovely lunch for 7 on sat night. Were given a big round table the restaurant which was great. The place was buzzing but not too noisy. Food was great with two good veggie options. In fact most of us had either the mushroom burger or the roast butternut- even the meat eaters! The only downside was one of our party got their main as everyone else was finishing, but it didnt spoil things as the food was good and they offered is a free glass of wine. None of us had been there before and we all agreed we would go back!
Family reunion. Great time. Thanks!
Perfect place for a delicious meal.
Amazing atmosphere! We have been to this place last weekend for friends’ gathering; spent 5 hours...
Food was very good, staff was really helpful and efficient.
Will definitely go back there!
We had booked very early, 5:15, as we went with our young son hence it was indeed very quiet as we were the first in the upstairs dining room, though the downstairs was very vibrant already. This was the third time we have eaten at the Grazing Goat and the food was, again, excellent; it is interesting and imaginative without being fussy or clever for the sake of it. The venison was sublime and perfectly cooked and presented, as was my wife's hake. Much thought goes into providing a complementary range of tastes on each of the mains; dessert should not be missed. There is an excellent range of wines with some more premium wines available by the glass via the Coravin system -- these are well worth trying. The staff are always friendly, informal and carefully attentive, and the child's menu was excellent quality with its portion size perfect. We will return!
Amazing apple pie!
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff :)
Delicious roast dinner. Wine was great and barman downstairs was knowledgable and made a great recommendation. I will definitely return!
The venison was outstanding. Excellent service and great ambiance.
I booked this as it came up on google maps as an in between place to meet. We had a really lovely meal. The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Although the website said we could only have the table for 2 hours we definitely had it for longer. I would definitely recommend and return.
Lovely Sunday roast with a nice ambiance.
Beautiful food, excellent staff and service, will definitely go back again! Can highly recommend!
It was incredibly hot inside and service was slow.
Had Sunday lunch there with two friends before going to BST in Hyde Park. Excellent welcome from staff. The starters (we had two to share between four of us) were excellent - probably the best squid I've had!! The main courses were plentiful and well cooked. However, my friend asked for her venison to be pink and it arrived very grey - mine was just right and pink. Table service was a bit on the slow side and it took a while to attract attention. We ordered a bottle and then a carafe of Malbec (as usual) only to discover that the wine in the carafe had a tremendous amount of sediment in the bottom which was not good. When we got the bill the price of the carafe was removed without any problem. However, when the revised bill was delivered we were given what could only be described as a 'lecture' on Argentinian Malbec and that this was normal. I beg to differ, particularly when the initial bottle we had was fine. It just left a sour note at the end of our visit. Overall though it was a good lunch and I would recommend others to go there as long as they stay clear of the Malbec!
We had the mushroom burger with cashew sauce and was excellent veggie option. Also the truffle fries are an absolute winner.
Fathers Day Sunday Roast SUPREME
Very tasty, well-prepared food in a pub with nice atmosphere (buzzy, but not too noisy). The service was excellent - the manager and every member of staff were friendly and helpful. We had a group of 6 that spanned from 10 to 60 years of age. All were happy with the various starters and mains we ordered off the a la carte menu and would be happy to go again.
The food was very ordinary. Uncomfortable seating and it was draughty and cold where we were sitting
Another great meal at the grazing goat. Perfect unobtrusive servive, and delicous food.
A luke warm lamb pie with a few undercooked onions and green beans for £16.00!
The hamburger which was supposed to be medium rare came out the first time between raw and rare. The lamb pie had very few vegetables and very little lamb. The lamb was outnumbered by the fat. Service was good and attentive.
Service was lacking despite the restaurant being half empty.
Gastropub menu. Had the homemade chicken pie which was delicious. Service is quick and efficient. Was surprisingly quiet for lunchtime - has been much busier when I'd visited previously.
The house pie was fantastic and the service was superb! We loved the energy at the restaurant and it's definitely a local favorite.
