Great food reasonable priced service was friendly and efficient .
As always it was perfect. Food, service, set up and covid safe.
An excellent late Bank Holiday lunch. Great food and great service in dreadful weather conditions. The staff were superb.
Had a birthday celebration in one of the horse boxes. Fabulous food, lovely warm welcome and the horse box was unique, protected from the wind and nice and warm with the heater in it.
Always very good service, especially the attentive and professional lead front of house, who is really excellent. Super menu, great food. The outside arrangement is well done, and we look forward to going back inside soon.
From the start the service was very good and attentive. The food was excellent and good value for money. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic ! Incredible food and service at very reasonable prices.
Lovely food and beautiful garden to sit in. Excellent service as well. Definitely recommend.
Couldn’t fault any of the food! Service was good! Enjoyable evening! Heaters outside kept us warm!
Despite inclement weather conditions the staff were warm, friendly and professional as always. My husband had the whole Lobster special and I had the Castlemead Chicken, both were utterly delicious. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and made to feel very special. Value for money is outstanding. All testament to why we love The Greene Oak so much.
Brilliant they have adapted wonderfully top marks would definitely recommend
Great lunch at the Greene Oak as always. Food fantastic, great ambience and service
Well adapted to COVID with a large outdoor seating area. Food menu is great too!
Bench seat not suitable for fine dining
Service so slow
What a beautiful outside eating venue! All under covered area with pretty lights and heaters for when it started getting cold! Food was amazing and staff were very warm, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. They were even very accepting of my two young children, one of whom I had to keep dragging back to the table as he attempted to use your slabs to practise his island hopping! Many thanks for a lovely meal... and we will definitely book again on our next Legoland/Windsor outing!! Thank you.
The Greene Oak had made much effort to seat people outside. The menu was comprehensive and a fair price although the wines were on the expensive side. Food was tasty. More considertion should be given to serving food outside - plates should be very hot, food itself should be hot and the food should be covered when transported from kitchen to table. Service was good and amiable.
An excellent dining experience. Very well organised for outside dining
Charming location, and outdoor space, well prepared for Covid security. Attentive, friendly staff.
Delicious food. Good wine!
As someone who is virtually vegan, I would have liked more choice on the menu, especially for dessert.
But a lovely place that made us feel welcome, safe and special!
We love The Green Oake and can always rely on great food and value
As usual top marks go to The Greene Oak fo food, service and ambiance. Yesterday one of our friends/diners has a severe gluten allergy. The bstaff and kitchen were well prepared and very diligent with her food. We were very impressed with this as many places struggle. Even though it was a rainy afternoon, it was pleasant under the marquee, we felt warm and the sunny disposition of the staff lifted the greyness outside. Thank you so much.
Food was amazing and staff were amazing
Perfect setting, great food, great service.. highly recommended
The food service and staff make the avert very enjoyable
Great service and friendly welcome. Food was fab value and a lovely lunch for our anniversary. Plenty of undercover dining with comfy seats and heaters to ward off the chill
Lovely three course meal for two. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. Felt very safe from a covid perspective (hand sanitiser on the tables, staff in masks, social distancing in place.) We are vegan and even though the menu didn't specifically identify vegan options, there were several. It would be great if those items could be included on a specific vegan menu (makes it much easier for customers and staff, and makes you feel less awkward!).
After so long away from the Greene Oak, we were more than ecstatic to be back! Brilliant produce and plenty of varied dishes throughout the menu. We came for the deep fried pickles, but ended up with 3 courses. Best place in Windsor.
Went on a Sunday about 5.00pm for family meal with 4 year old Granddaughter.
We had a wonderful meal and the Kid's meal was beyond what we expected.
Service and level of attention made it an enjoyable meal.
Absolutely Superb! Great services, great food, great pub!
Thanks for a lovely afternoon and delicious food. Seating areas outside were fab!
Fabulous evening with excellent service. Very COVID secure without any fuss.
Really enjoyed our meals there, will be coming back
Delicious meal and friendly staff! Will be booking another table soon!
Large beer garden with undercover options and heaters. Felt very Covid safe. Staff were very busy but attentive. A gluten-free beer option would be appreciated in future - otherwise a decent selection of drinks. Prices are on the dear side, but the overall experience was very good.
We requested the horse box and appreciated the privacy that gave us for a special family reunion. The welcome and the service was very professional and couldn’t have been better. The food was delicious, hot and well presented.
We have been going to the Greene Oak for a number of years now and it never disappoints! For post-lockdown opening, they have arranged their beer garden in a really nice outside seating area with tables/sofas available both under a large marquee and also outside the marquee (should you wish to enjoy some sunshine on a nice day, like we did!).
The food was great, good portions and really tasty (I had Moules in garlic/white wine sauce, and by husband had a burger), and I should separately mention triple cooked chips which are the BEST. It was also a nice surprise to have live music going on - not too overwhelming, but good songs and just adding to the right ambience!
The only comment I have is its sad to see fish & chips permanently removed from the menu, because it used to be the best F&C in the area. Also maybe expanding on some light starters/bites might be nice!
We hope to be back soon again :)
Good food, good service and great setup in the current situation (COVID)
Amazing brunch, lovely bottomless drinks, fantastic food, very professional staff. We will be returning here.
Absolutely fabulous food with excellent service. We were a table of four and every course was really superb. The outside seating area was very comfortable under a canopy with air heaters if required.
Highly recommended AAA
Honestly one of the best meals we have had!! Greene oak has clearly put in a lot of effort to have a great dining experience outside whilst COVID is going on
Super helpful and friendly service, great ambiance and they have created a great covered outdoor space despite the chilly nights. Relaxed environment for a great meal with friends and family. Food was excellent overall
