The Greenhouse Ratings and Reviews
The Greenhouse really deserves its 2 Michelin Stars. We had one of our best meals ever and we would love to come back some day. The staff and the level of service simply cant't be better. The dishes were not only of unmatched taste but also a pleasure to the eye. We would like to recommend this restaurant highly.
I had a business dinner here this week and all of the highest standards were met. The ambiance is lovely and the food and service are terrific. The wine list is long and leans towards the expensive but if you look you can find some excellent, under £100 bottles. Prices are not cheap but probably what to expect at a restaurant of this calibre. I would highly recommend for a great business meal or a special occasion.
Arnaud 's creations with love never fail each single time. Wow, every time. Service was emasculate. Staffs are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, very friendly and welcoming. They remember your name and last conversations.
I recommend here for any occasions from every day Lunch to special occasions, from solo dishing to romantic dinning or group dinning in their private room.
Will go back again for next new menu.
We dine at The Greenhouse every year to celebrate my wifes birthday and each year it gets better..the service is outstanding and the food(we have the 6 course tasting menu)was superb. It is not cheap but, like everything in life, you get what you pay for and this was good value.I would recommend this restaurant for a complete evening out especially if you want to be spoilt.
Dined on a Friday evening to celebrate a 10 year anniversary. Service was very attentive and professional. Sommelier in particular was friendly and knowledgable and was very accommodating when I decided I did not like the taste of the first wine chosen and he quickly replaced with another.
Food is outstanding. We went for the 9 course Discovery Menu which is left up entirely to the chef and each course was a surprise. Apart from one fish course which was not to our taste, every other course was outstanding 10/10 - including for my husband who would not normally choose to eat crab, fois gras, for example. The signature Crab dish was a particular highlight as was the Chestnut desert.
At just under £400 for two of us including tip this restaurant is by no means cheap but for a really special occasion it is definitely worth saving up for. For me it is the joint best meal I've ever had and ranks above La Gavroce and is on a par with Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons. EXCELLENT!
what a great find! found this restaurant on the Michelin guide. the amuse bouche and petit four were delightful and the main dishes are very interesting in combination and taste. worth the 2 star and the price. to top it off, the staff were really quite amazing, would definitely go back the next time I m in London.
We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with lunch here, a first for us. The options of set lunch, a la carte and tasting menus were all available which gave a nice level of flexibility. Our selections from the 3 course a la carte (at £100) were supplemented by canapes, amuse bouche, a further amazing crab souffle course and the most wonderful petit fours with coffee. We were truly spoilt. Everything was just perfection - the calm serene setting, the food which was elegant and creative to the wonderfully creamy house champagne. Check out the wine list ahead it's worth a bit of planning! We spent a relaxing 3 hours over a really special lunch, service was excellent, could do no better. The discreet setting hidden away in Mayfair is unique, the only disappointment was to hear we could not sit outside in the garden for coffee, a shame when it's so inviting. The choice was perfect for a special occasion and I'd return in a moment.
Was really looking forward to this trip as had loved my first visit in March. This was a Birthday treat from my Daughter and it did not disappoint. The staff are very attentive without being overbearing. The food is amazing - flavours, unexpected surprises and presentation. The ambience and setting is very pleasant. I shall look for another excuse to return soon. Many thanks.
Was a truly memorable experience , as we arrived everything was spot on, all the details that you would expect from a 2 Michelin Star restaurant were there, and we felt very comfortable , we had lunch tasting menu, the creativity and combination of flavours were really nice , balance of flavours really make this experience a pleaseant to the palate. we chose wine pairing and indeed we didn’t regret it , our sommelier was very informative and kind with a wonderful selection, front of the house was really professional and yet relaxed wich makes us felt tranquil.
We are looking forward to come back!
