Terrible value for money. We do not mind paying for good food but the food served was inadequate and did not warrant the amount of money. Service poor.
Such a lovely restaurant with a lovely vibe. Staff are amazing and do their jobs excellently. Food is outstanding and the head chef Tom Booton is so charming and delightful. Would highly recommend for special occasions and luxury dates.
Disappointing menu, very limited choice. Not sure why it’s called the Savoy ‘Grill’ wouldn’t go back .
Wonderful lunch. We had the set menu and it was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough to help.
Not only was the standard of food and service excellent but once again your brilliant staff made the evening so enjoyable, particularly Lars. We were made to feel so welcome and the restaurant was very busy and buzz, but excellent servica and attention was maintained throughout the evening. The menu is a little limited, but the flavours and taste of each dish was fabulous. We were pleased that the restaurant now serves both halal and non halal meat. Indeed we look forward to our next visit to the Grill.
Amazing so impressed from the minute we were shown to our table and taken on our delicious food journey. The staff were so warm and friendly and a special thanks to Amy & Nardin both would be are a credit to any business. The food, portions presentation & taste are second to none, I would not have changed one thing. Credit to the chief who even attends each table at the start of the evening ... what a nice touch!
Fabulous lunch. Service and food top notch. My go to restaurant in London. Tom Booton should be very proud at what he has achieved
Amazing in every way. The whole experience surpassed our expectations. The food was of course the star of the show. Every member of staff was professional and attentive. The ambiance fit the restaurant
The set men
The service was excellent.
The menu was very good for that price
Desserts were fantastic.
Very good dinning experience
Great food and service.
Really enjoyed my 2nd visit to The Grill !
Lovely decor, service and food. I had 4 courses (beef tartare, veal sweet breads, ribeye beef and trifle for desert).
All were really enjoyable and will fill you up for sure. The chips were a side dish and came with gravy mayonnaise - the best chips ever!
For £75 for 4 courses I felt it was exceptional value for money 😀
We were expecting great things from the Dorchester grill however we were left disappointed by the set menu on offer on the Saturday evening we visited. I would Reccomend the savoy grill anytime over the Dorchester, we will not be returning.
With lockdown easing we have returned to our quarterly "boys" lunches and this was our first venue. A very attractive dining room with very helpful and friendly staff we enjoyed a superb meal. My friends' beef tartare and sweetbreads starters were very good, my squid bolognese was very small to the point that it was a little difficult to tell if it tasted delicious or not!! We were very impressed with the small but varied and very reasonably priced wine list - so refreshing to see this in a restaurant of this quality. We continued our "long" lunch on the rooftop in the sun with rather too much rose but had a wonderful day. We will be back
Excellent lovely staff
Service above and beyond
Excellent service and food. Great value for money.
Went for a Christmas treat. Beautifully decorated. Food fabulous.
Wonderful evening - attention to detail. Service was impeccable and food delicious.
We absolutely adore the Dorchester, one of our favourite places for Sunday lunch. The food is exquisite, the staff are friendly and exceptionally professional.
Great menu & enjoyable ambience. Staff very friendly / prompt service.
Excellent Sevice and delicious meals
Slightly disappointing table but perhaps we should have asked for a round table when we booked.
Food excellent but starters could have been more generous
Service top class and wine list fantastic if slightly overpriced
We had a fabulous late Sunday lunch.
We had cocktails in the bar. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
Lunch in the grill was great. Food was very nice. Good portions as was the wine.
We will be back.
I had come to the grill for my birthday. Really disappointed with the food as I had to get it changed at one point due to the fact I didn’t enjoy it and get a different sauce to which they had then given me. However, I was not happy at all with the food and really sad by it
Service was the best
Excellent innovative food from Tom the talented chef, who catered extremely well for my allergies.. Lovely welcome to the stunning restaurant and we were looked after throughout exceptionally well by Jennifer the manager. Service was personalised and highly professional. Definitely would recommend!
Lovely service and ambience. Staff were very attentive.
Dined with friends on Saturday evening. Our table was at 8pm it was very quiet when we arrived maybe two other tables going and the bar empty however the restaurant became more busy around 9.30pm. The bar is beautiful in itself with the decoration etc. We were seated quickly and started with cocktails, we received an amuse bouche which was good. The bread is to die for. We had an enjoyable evening the menu prices are ok three courses £60 and four courses £75 however the wines are expensive. Good for a special occasion!
A great dining experience. The food was delicious and very well presented.
Lovely lunch, excellent service, food was creative and beautifully plated by Tom Booton, the very young and talented chef and his team. Front of house was friendly with great service by Alessandro. I’ve recommended The Grill to several friends and we hope to come again soon. Oh...we also met Tom, all smiles and full of enthusiasm.
Great service at the restaurant. The food is good value and I was pretty full by my final course. Nice to have a fancy dinner once in a while.
First time ever and we will be back
A significant bill but a fabulous lunch and an exceptional experience
Great, Innovative menu in a timeless setting. And great value.
Great staff, food and service...the room is a little anodyne
What a change. Last time I ate here it was somewhat ‘stuffy’ and not very exiting.
Our lunch was well prepared, beautifully presented and tasted great.
The atmosphere was markedly more relaxed than before, which made it way more pleasant.
A small criticism.....whilst the ‘theatre’ of sitting at a dessert bar watching the final touches of the desserts being prepared was great, the actual desserts were not of the same quality as the rest of the meal. Not bad, but not as good
I always am fascinated with excellent service, friendly staff, superb ambience and delicious food.
As a regular costumer, every dining experience is different yet outstanding in every little detail.
I cant stop coming back.
