This was a nice restaurant. Great atmosphere, yummy food and good prices. I will definitely be back!
We ate at Back Creek for their New Year’s Eve Prime Rib which was tasty. All of the food was just barely warmer than room temperature. I ordered the drink special and don’t believe that’s what I got. Someone at a different table ordered that drink as well and it was served completely different than the drink I got. I had been to Back Creek years ago just for apps that were good. I’d probably go back for them but probably not for a meal again.
Brunch was fantastic. Will be returning to try some of the other wonderful options
The gator gumbo and seafood bisque were delicious. The golf course is very hard to find, especially in the dark.
Another great burger night with the family. Great beers, great appetizers, phenomenal burgers. Topped off with excellent service. We’ll all be back.
Burger was wonderful. Hot and flavorful. Our server, Renee, was the best. We definitely be returning. Thank you Back Creek for bringing back burger night.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was fantastic as well.
The burger was EXCEPTIONAL! Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Congrats to the new chef. You have picked up and continued with the Monday night tradition of burger love. Now I can’t wait for Monday nights.
Had an awesome dinner with great friends! Our waiter was amazing! Can’t wait to return!
Kevin and Renee treated us like royalty 😊. The food was delicious and cocktails stirred not shaken 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Have recommended friends to join us!
I had the nashville hot chicken. Biscuits and gravy were very good, the chicken was a bit over done and there wasn't much nashville hot sauce, and it wasn't very spicy at all.
Renee’ was great- as always.
We are never disappointed when dining at back Creek. The manager ,bartender and Renee gave us excellent service. The food again was delicious, drinks were awesome And our overall experience was excellent . Thanks to Renee and manager for allowing us to stay a little longer and enjoy our 6@6 😊
Kevin makes the BEST drinks and we are never disappointed. The new menu is exciting and Renee is always a pleasure and very attentive.
Our waitress is the best.
Our meal was excellent tonight. Renee and Kevin took care of every need. The drinks were great and always on time, the meal was tasty, very appealing and delicious. My blackened salmon was cooked to perfection. The desert was also delicious. We are very blessed to be able to enjoy this type of dining during these times.
Food and service were great. Our server, Renee, was outstanding and capped off a fun round at the course.
Our waitress Renee was phenomenal!! Will be asking to sit in her section from now on. As always, Craig was top notch behind the bar - mixed drinks were excellent!!
We are very disappointed that bc is still running a limited menu. We have been dining club members for years and have loved our weekly dinner with the family. We even worked hard to continue to support bc through the pandemic. However, the limited menu and inconsistent food quality is why we are canceling our membership. It is with a sad heart because we love the staff but the cost vs quality is a major issue.
Pretty damn delicious! GlD they made a change with their chef. Quality, taste and value is amazing.
We had reservations for 3 on Saturday 8/15. Upon arrival we were ushered to a table very close to a large group of golfers(?) who were extremely noisy. We asked to be seated away from them, and were escorted to a table sitting directly over a large floor ac vent. It was freezing. The Cuban sandwich was so-so. The salmon salad got rave reviews while the chicken fajita salad was almost inedible it was so full of jalapeños. The noisy diners stayed for most of our dinner. The acoustics of the dining area are pretty rough - it felt like we were in a cafeteria with all the ambient noise. With 2 alcoholic drinks, we spent $77 for this, before the tip. I don’t think we will be back.
What an awful experience! We sat down at the time of our reservation and were told that we need to hurry and make an order because the kitchen was closing soon. We ordered nachos which were absolutely disgusting (shredded cheese thrown on top of some cold chips and never melted) and pretzels with cheese dip that was brought out in a plastic to go cup and looked like coagulated brown pudding and tasted just as bad. Everything was served on flimsy paper plates and we were given tiny plastic utensils to eat with. The server never once stopped by our table to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. There was a man behind the bar, who I am assuming with the manager, who kept taking his mask off while he was making the drinks and then pulled his mask down around his chin while he carried big serving platters of food around to the different people. If you are going to wear one and have signs all over The place that you are requiring masks and signs telling people to wear their mask correctly, then at least have the decency to wear your own and wear it correctly. Especially when you were handling other peoples food. My daughter’s Mac and cheese with brisket was a big hard blob on the plate with fatty pieces of brisket on top. The restaurant was extremely warm. Overall just a horrendous experience. I know that times are tough and it is difficult to deal with Covid but I have never been to a restaurant that has been more ill prepared and chaotic.
All things considered with the covid 19, Back Creek Grille rates Great to us.
The Grill at Back Creek is consistently good and in these challenging times, VERY COVID COMPLIANT. The restaurant is very well run and we can't tell you how much we appreciate the opportunity to be able to have a SAFE place to enjoy a meal out. Thank you Back Creek for everything you are doing.
Many times we’ve done there and they rush us and tell us the kitchen is closing soon. Our reservations were at 7:30 we got there at 7:30 and they told us we needed to order right away if we wanted to get meals. This is about the 3rd time it’s happened. Great food, nice staff but of the kitchen closed at 8 on a Saturday night they need to tell people that. As a side note, this happened twice before COVID.
food and service were excellent! all adhered to Covid precautionary rules. the view of the golf course and the excellent cocktails made by Kevin and service by Renee made the evening great! The manager also took time to say hello and converse with us
Thank you all for a great experience
Potatoes with crabcake were really runny. Mixed vegetables were just OK. Used to having a salad and roll with meals. No dessert available except for ice cream. Pretty lame for the price we paid.
Given the current situation with COVID-19, we were very uncomfortable sitting inside for dinner with a young lady sitting at the bar (I believe she was employee who just finished her shift) totally oblivious to how loud she was talking and laughing (without a mask on). Our fault for not choosing to sit outside on a very humid evening, but none of the employees seemed to notice or care. We have been out to eat a few times since the restaurants opened back up, and this is the first time I actually felt uncomfortable. The plastic utensils were so flimsy I could hardly cut my fish with them. Food was pretty good and the music outstanding, but unfortunately, I could not wait to leave.
Always a great time at The Grill at Back Creek. Service is outstanding (thank you Cate), the atmosphere is lively and the food/beer selection is one of the best in town.
Back Creek is always consistent, always delicious. Service was top notch as well!
They were just getting open as the restrictions lifted in Delaware on dining inside. They were busy they were short staffed yet our service once young man got to our table was very good. Service was with paper plates and plastic cutlery which was barely sufficient to cut the food.I understand it was trying conditions for the Club dining room however this is a fair and honest report
Server did not remember drinks. Touched fruit with hands. Was not good.
Awesome service and everyone was adherents to safe precautions. Excellent food and drinks. Renee and Kevin are an asset to this establishment. We come here every Monday and sometimes a day or 2 more
Excellent as usual.
We made a reservation for 4. We all had a great time. The young lady playing the guitar and singing was outstanding. Our server was very nice and proficient. We were not rushed and enjoyed every minute of being back out for drinks, dinner, and music. Thank You!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you again soon!
Our server Shawn seemed more interested in discussing football with another customer then checking on his tables. After we finished eating, we waited for check for about 15 min before he came over with it. Stood at the bar and chatted with a customer that was not even his table, overall it was just very awkward for us. Food was very good though. Not sure if i will come back though.
Arrived early, no problem. Our server, Kevin, was excellent and glad to see the return of seated dining.
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We will be sure to let Kevin know what a great job he did! We look forward to serving you again in the near future!
Mike is a great server! Always a good time and the atmosphere were refreshing given this time we are in!
Always a great time...excellant service and food. The staff is exceptional!
Back Creek held a Mardi Gras party on Sunday, including a special menu for the day. Normally the Chef's interpretations are very well done but the large turnout appears to have overwhelmed the kitchen. Service was much slower than usual, despite the efforts of the wait staff to keep things moving. The Jambalaya special was a huge disappointment. Billed as: Chicken, shrimp, and andouille sausage all sauteed with garlic, oil, and Cajun seasonings served over Creole rice and topped with green onions. The dish was served over NOODLES, with no rice. And the seasonings tasted more Italian than Cajun. But having the special event on a Sunday Instead of just Friday and Saturday) was a great idea and was well-received by customers.
