About The Guinea
At the Guinea, we specialize in serving you the finest aged, grass fed English and Scotch beef. We are founder members of the Scotch beef Club whose president, Princess Anne is a passionate supporter. The Guinea also enjoys a huge following for steak pies. We have been National Steak pie champions no less than 3 times. We don’t ignore fish and seafood lover’s either and offer you a quality selection.
The Guinea is unique in that the restaurant and private dining room is housed with the walls of one of London’s oldest pubs established in 1423. This means that not only do we offer you a fine selection of wines, particularly Claret and Burgundy, we also serve Young’s award winning ales. Respected restaurant guides like Hardens, Zagat and the Good Food guide nearly always remark on our warm and friendly service. Acclaimed food critic Giles Coren also placed us in his list of top 50 favourite restaurants in the UK (The Times January 2014).

The Guinea Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic evening, great service and excellent food. The meal was delicious from beginning to the end. The meat was tender, flavoursome and cooked perfectly as per our specifications. The service was attentive and professional. Our questions were answered with confidence and suggestions were made in a helpful non pushy manner. We felt we were in very good hands. We enjoyed the evening tremendously . The ambience was lively and very welcoming. We would be delighted to recommend it to others.
We have visited The Guinea Grill a few times and every time we visit, the service, food and atmosphere is excellent. The steaks are the best we've ever tasted and the staff are so professional and down to earth and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Thank you again Guinea Grill, we will be back.
We had a nice, quiet dinner here. We sat in cramped quarters, hence the 4 stars for ambiance. They were very busy on a Saturday night, but our waiter took good care of us. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the tomato and red pepper soup if it is available!
