Our food features traditional favorites as well as some interesting and great tasting contemporary dishes. Bar snacks and nibbles together with starters, mains, puddings and a children's menu ensures there is something for all tastes and occasions. From a scotch egg & a pint to a lovely 3 course celebration meal!
Had two lovely meals there in the last two weeks, such a shame they are having to close again due to Corvid
Overall our meal was very pleasant though there were a couple of things that could be better. I had belly of pork and the crackling was very soft with no crunch. Both our desserts had been heated through in a microwave I would think as they were very soft. My husband had bread and butter pudding and the crust on the top wasn’t crispy and my Bakewell tart was very soggy. But apart from that the meal was very good

We have been to the Honnington Buck for evening meals and Sunday lunch, the food is always excellent. I can not fault anything. The atmosphere, the look of the pub, staff and food are ten out of ten. The cost of the food and drink is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend The Honnington Buck.
Had a Sunday lunch but food could have been warmer, just 2 serving so nobody came to ask if all was ok. I would have asked for a bit more gravy.
My friends beef was uncuttable but the waitress took this off the bill. The chef said the other beef was fine.
The cranberry tart dessert was lovely
Really easy booking process. Good quality food, nice homely pub atmosphere. Very clean and careful with covid requirements. Comfy chairs and waitress was very efficient friendly and cheery. First visit here and would definitely go again. Highly recommend braised beef and steak.

It was the last night before Lockdown 2.0 so we were all so happy to be out! The atmosphere in the cosy restaurant was fab. Even though we were safely socially distanced it still felt warm, cosy and and not at all far away from each other.
The food was delicious, it arrived super quick and the portion sizes were perfect. I had the Katsu chicken starter and Pork Belly and I would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful night out Honningham Buck.
First visit in over 10 years. The Buck is excellent in all areas. Best scotch egg starter ever. Will not be 10 years before we go back. Will be a regular once COVID sorted
We had booked a table online & specifically selected not to be in the bar area. Upon arrival we were shown to our table which was in the bar. When asked if we could be seated in the area we had booked, the landlord was very dismissive. We had been here previously and enjoyed our meal. Very disappointed with our second visit and won’t be going again!!
The food and service were amazing, however I would have expected a 3 course meal to take more than an hour to be cooked, served and consumed.
We had just finished work and were tired, so it suited us, but had it been a Saturday evening, I would have been disappointed

We went for a Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious. Very good portion sizes and plenty of vegetables and gravy. Cooked to perfection.

Booked this as a meal on the way back from Holkham Hall. Easy to park and find. Great, friendly staff. Fresh tasting food. Had three courses and wine. Great selection. Couldn't fault it.

Beautiful bar/ restaurant. Was served by two lovely ladies who were very friendly. Food was delicious overall, just wished the chocolate fondant was normal size instead of tiny. Would definitely recommend and visit again
This was our second visit, meeting up with family for lunch. Just as good as the first time, food, service etc was brilliant. Made to feel welcome on arrival which always helps!

A great restaurant with a lovely buzz about it. Staff were very helpful ad friendly and all the usual Covid-19 procedures are in place. We opted to have the Sunday roast which was delicious and excellent value. Just wish here had been a bit more more meat and fewer vegetables.
Excellent food with great emphasis on the small details. Good selection of food to suit every taste. I particularly recommend the moules meriniere starter, almost the size of a main course and delicous.
