Always a wonderful time. Lovely food, great service and a very nice atmosphere.
Great food and ambiance, very friendly staff. Welcomed our birthday girl like a queen. Would 100% recommend!
Last minute booking, glad we did. Welcoming staff, nice food and great value. Highly recommended
Good food with excellent service, nice relaxed ambience and reasonable value
Made so welcome by front of house. Service was attentive and discreet. And the food was delicious.
Will definitely be going back
Muy bien restaurante, lleno de gente pero tan ruidoso que no se podía platicar.
We only wanted one course fish cakes excellent with salad and frites.
The Marlybone Cafe is always a wonderful experience. The staff are truly exceptional from chefs to waiters to rubbish removal.
For that reason, I go as often as when I am in the area.
Last 3 times the wines were warm and the service was poor.
Nice environment and food great. Service was good but had to ask couple of times for more wine from bottle we’d bought that was chilling in ice bucket away from table
I have been here many time service was slow which I have no problem with but it would have be nice every so often to check if we need more drinks was only offered drinks and water when we sat down.
We had a great lunch and were able to book on the day. Great food, amazing service- everything was perfect!
We have been very well looked after by Anna Marie and Veli and the female general manager despite Restaurant being unbelievably busy for a Tuesday night. Great atmosphere and good honest service from under pressure but genuine people. Thank you
It was overcrowded and I felt like we were just a number. Absolutely nothing special
Although I have visited a number of the Ivy restaurants, this was my first visit to the Ivy Cafe - Marylebone. I like very much the ambience and style of the Cafe. Service was great and the food excellent. We ate at just gone 6pm and the Cafe was fairly quiet, however it picked up considerably at about 7pm. I will be going back!
Great service and very attentive. Good food
Terrible table by a till where I was constantly knocked in the elbow by servers using the till to plug in orders. Waitress was over familiar and poor. Food great as ever.
Calm quiet atmosphere with no background music. We had a nice meal served by an efficient and attentive waitress. Enjoyed our pre-dinner cocktails. Food was good.
Great for a business meeting; was quiet the day we went. Have the cream tea and was lovely. Good value too.
Our first visit to an Ivy, and we had a good time. Only (and slight) criticism was that, friendly and cheerful as the service was, it wasn't quite as efficient as it tried to appear, and drinks were slow in arriving.
A lovely birthday celebration in a fabulous restaurant - great atmosphere and service. Also treated to a birthday profiterole 😊
Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Would recommend.
Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for a weekend breakfast with great service
The restaurant was not open and the team were all sitting outside as they couldn’t open the door.
Average food, the best were the desserts, wonderful apple pie
Excellent service and value for money we were celebrating a birthday and staff were so lovely
Staff could not do enough to make everything perfect for us.
As always at an Ivy Brasserie restaurant we couldn’t fault the service, food and ambiance. I haven’t been to the Marylebone restaurant before and was a bit disappointed that tables were so close together - more space between tables would be appreciated. Also, the noise levels were off the scale, but that seems to be the way things are these days with modern restaurants.
Was seated in the smallest table ever next to a wall and a table almost joined to us with young toddlers who’s guardians chose to consent full access to roam around restaurant whilst other diners ate. This relaxed parental attitude resulted in wife being kicked continually by the toddlers sliding on and off the bench seat and bumping into our table as they played. The guardians oblivious to this as they kept up with the latest on Instagram and glued to mobiles. Staff aware of chaos, but did nothing.
Food was terribly expensive and nothing spectacular, made all the worse by eating it in a rush to leave the restaurant. The first ever time I have asked for service to be removed from my end bill as a protest at the cost for what was an awful dining experience. Gut wrenching to pay close on £50 a head when considering what was ordered.
We started with a very poor Cheese soufflé that tasted like a terribly executed scrambled egg with cheese,…. This was never a soufflé texture! A prawn cocktail with more salad and dressing, than actual prawn. This was followed by a Main course of Lobster Linguine, again lobster pieces counted on one hand for a £29 dish selection, and a burger with cheese, bacon that was way inferior to other burgers I’ve had at less prestigious locations and at half the price. 1 Bottle of still water and 1 small bottle of lager.
Great atmosphere and decor.
Superb and attentive staff.
Very good food but service not up to the standard of previous visits, maybe just having a bad day or staff that did not seem to know what each other were doing, but will still return again.
The food was delicious but the service was a little rushed. Our mains came before we had eaten our starters so that was a bit awkward. The waiter also tapped his fingers on the table whilst I was ordering which is incredibly rude.
From being greeted at the door through our whole time at the Ivy, we had a tremendous experience this weekend. The food, service and setting was first class and I look forward to our next brunch visit.
The waitress was so attention - a lovely experience
Delightful ambience and excellent service. Look forward to returning.
Enjoyed the lunch very much and will come again. The noise level is extreme however with very loud customers to our right.
Just the best dining experience in London
My first time dining at the Ivy Cafe and from the moment the maitre d' greeted me and my partner, we were made to feel special and valued customers. The food was uniformly superb and came in generous portions. We had zucchini friti 'for the table' which were light and crispy and very moreish. For starters we had the truffled mushrooms and prawn cocktail which were both delicious. My minute steak main was prepared exactly as I ordered and my partner's grilled halloumi was very satisfying. The bottle of primitivo we had with our meal was decently priced and very nicely balanced. We would have ordered dessert but were pre-empted by some gratis profiteroles, offered to mark the anniversary we were celebrating - a lovely and classy touch. We did have a couple of cocktails to round off the evening - an espresso martini and a maple spiced manhattan - which were well-made and finished off our evening perfectly. A wonderful evening and we'll certainly be back!
Great restaurant, a real buss if a little noisy. Efficient, attentive staff. Good range of menu choices and nice sized portions, particularly the Creme Brulee 😉
Our waitress had no personality the staff seemed to rush you to leave. They were out of stock on two red wines by the glass and only offer 5. I would not recommend for dinner. It was also extremely hot in the Resteraunt. Overall big disappointment
