Had a lovely breakfast, very professional and pleasant service, felt very safe with temperature checks, distancing. Food was stunning.
Great service, warm and convivial atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Staff were exceptional - cheerful and Covid conscious while keeping our experience a treat! Thank you
Popped in for lunch on Saturday.
Service great as always.
These guys know to have classic class - top service understated, very professional amazing food and great atmosphere.
Have the whole Covid process of to a “T” —- such that they have everything in case you forget.
Definitely one of the most amazing relaxing places I think across the ivy chain and defiantly in Marylebone.
Fantastic food and service, made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very attentive servers.
Great meal and fantastic welcome. Handling current situation brilliantly.
Lovely staff, great welcome. A bit expensive for what it offers, but OK, very good even!
Excellent as always..
Delicious meal, as always!
Staff should be advised to wear masks and social distance.
I prefer the Ivy Cafe model to the over-dressed main Ivy proposition and the Cafe in Marylebone Lane is first class.
We had a great meeting and the fish pie was so lovely!
A lovely relaxed lunch at an outside table in the sunshine. Food was great, we all enjoyed our choices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everywhere seemed clean and safe.
We decided that we deserved a treat, although someone said to my husband recently you don't need an excuse to go to the Ivy. We were made to feel welcome and were allocated a table with plenty of distance, which made us feel very comfortable. Our orders were taken promptly with queries about ingredients answered satisfactorily. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. The food as delicious. The General Manager came and spoke to us, which made us feel very special. We enjoyed our lunch, possibly a little too much. We will certainly be going back again soon.
The Ivy is a high-class brasserie. The operation is slick, and they implement all the Covid-safety measures efficiently and unobtrusively, as part of excellent service. The ambience is good, the menu is imaginative and the food beautifully presented. Where they fell down for me this time (and I haven't encountered this in other branches) was that both my starter and main dish were drowned in strong dressings which dominated what should have been delicate flavours. The point of tuna carpaccio is the delicate flavour and consistency of the fish, so why would you serve it swimming in vinegary wasabi? And the crispy duck salad was slathered in strong hoisin sauce, dominating the flavours and taking the edge off the crispiness. Chocolate bombe was very splendid.
Beautiful afternoon at Marylebone Ivy. We were accommodated so well by the staff and managed to get a lovely table outside. The food was impeccable, as usual.
Fabulous afternoon. Food was delicious - especially the courgette fries which were to die for and that’s not a phrase one usually associates with a courgette! However, it was the service which really stood out, in the middle of Covid they managed to find the balance between maintaining social distancing and making you feel comfortable and welcome. Would return in a heartbeat.
Love this Ivy. Relaxed atmosphere, warm and friendly service. Had salmon followed by your signature fish cakes. Must have is sourdough bread basket. Great value for money.
Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of oxford street
The staff at the Ivy Cafe Marylebone are superb - and they have everything under control in terms of COVID. From the moment you arrive you are treated as an old friend and looked after. The tables are well-spaced and the ambience is just perfect for lunch. Cocktails are well crafted - I had blood orange margarita which hit the spot perfectly. The jackfruit starter is amazing and I would very much recommend it. We were a table of four and had a lovely relaxed sunday lunch. Thank you to the team for making it such a lovely event. and one of us had a birthday and so there was a little cake with a candle brought to the table - lovely touch!
Excellent friendly service. Superb food brought quickly. Highly recommended
Lovely food, great place, highly recommend it.
Lovely friendly staff, so welcoming
We had a fantastic experience at The Ivy Cafe on Saturday. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to make our visit such a pleasure. One of our favourite places to eat when visiting London and in the perfect location. We'll be back soon!
The restaurant was very busy and service wasn’t up to usual standard. There were a lot of flies around our table including fruit flies which I have never noticed in the restaurant before. All three of us noticed the flies and it was distracting.
Temperature check and hand sanitiser upon entering was good although the narrow entrance does not allow social distancing. Our table was about 0.5m away from the next table and most waiting staff did not wear a mask. Service was friendly and prompt and given the late lunch timing, we were under no pressure to leave even after 3 hours. Menu was pretty standard across the chain. Duck starter was a delicious combination of flavours and textures although the duck was a bit too crispy. Eggs Royale was well executed although I found the muffins a bit thick as I was so full from the starter.
Overall a lovely place and will continue to visit the branches across the chain.
Great spot! We really enjoyed the food and service.
Had an Amazing breakfast to start my birthday morning. The gentlemen at the front is very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Service and food was great. Well definitely like to come again!
Perfect spot for breakfast before the day ahead on Saturday.
Amy, wonderful as always, and you couldn't ask for a more cheery welcoming from start to finish.
Not my first visit here or to a The Ivy restaurant. Consistently good service. Friendly and professional. Delicious food. Excellent value for money.
Relaxed but COVID secure reception. Good food and just right service for a relaxed catch up dinner
Such a pretty setting in a lovely location. Beautiful decor, super friendly and efficient staff.
The food was good - the creme brulée for dessert was one of the nicest I've had (including in France) and they took my friend's food allergy very seriously without making it an issue.
Will definitely go back.
There are about 6-8 tables outdoor, which most people prefer to sit nowadays.
Great food and service as expected from the IVY chain.
Perfect for family meeting in these different times
Enjoyed the food and service: due to social distancing the atmosphere is not quite as good as in the past.
Salmon well cook with great flavours and the chicken escalope served with asparagus topping was different but complimented the dish. Would return.
Wonderful atomsphere, staff and food. We love this restuarant
First time going to a Ivy Cafe, the service was great, food also. Very sweet of the waiters to bring out a cake and candle. I’d highly recommend going here.
