Ivy Cafe - Marylebone
Open seven days a week, The Ivy Café, Marylebone brings some of the familiarity of The Ivy brand to the ceaselessly chic Marylebone Lane, providing the perfect setting for any occasion.
A number of tables remain unreserved throughout the day allowing you to sample our range of café-style menus at your leisure from breakfast until late, whether you are a local resident, work close by or shopping in the area.
THE PROBLEM WAS JUST PRICE AT £70+ PLUS PER HEAD
UNSURE ABOUT THE COST OF THE 2 X BOTTLES OF WINE CONSUMED
PERFECTLY NICE, BEEN THERE BEFORE BUT JUST TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS
HOWEVER THE SERVICE WAS TOP RATE
A very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon with good drinks, food and atmosphere
I come to the Ivy Cafe Marylebone quite often with clients and colleagues and after bringing my parents here I am in no rush to come back.
We had brunch here for Father’s Day, we had to ask for cutlery and plates, we had to ask for butter when our bread came.
They left empty plates, glasses on the table while we ate so we had to push it all to the side and ask for it to be removed.
When my eggs arrived they were too hard so when they were brought back, they were cold so I left not actually eating. The manager didn’t come over to apologise and offer a feature of good Will. There was a waiter who looked half asleep or at least had 1 hell of a night the night before.
I’ve never been so disappointed as I am a regular there but unfortunately, the service for brunch was very disappointing and I will not be in a hurry to go back.
Concerning as they had a lot of staff.
Best ever visit. Service and food was brilliant. Thanks for making the evening so special.
Great vegetarian options.
I love the ivy restaurant but last two occasions I have been to the ivy cafe I have ordered the shepherds pie only for it to come out lukewarm !
First occasion both mine and my husband’s wasn’t hot enough and it was replaced
This time same problem
My friend ( birthday treat !) and I waited more than half an hour between starter and main and it came out lukewarm again. As we wanted to eat together and her main had arrived I accepted it
It was taken off my bill ,but I’d rather have enjoyed the pie hot
Come on ivy cafe get it together, it’s quite a basic requirement to have your food hot when it comes to the table
The restaurant was extremely noisy so I won’t be rushing back
Fantastic welcome and lovely interior, the staff were all friendly and the food was great. Highly recommended 👍
Incredible service!! We arrived at 8 am just when they had opened and welcomed us with open arms. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Very nice space to eat.
We couldn’t hear each other. Service was slow. We were just so impatient to get out of there
The welcome, food and service were great. A dear friend and I visited for dinner before heading up to see the Spice Girls at Wembley. It was perfect all around. Thank you
Great night out with friends!
Lovely meal every time. Great service and atmosphere
Lovely space! Would be great if it was a little bigger space so the noise level was peaked so much.
The Ivy Cafe always delivers good food, lovely decor and buzzy atmosphere. It’s a great place to meat for a light lunch when in town
Waiter was rude and inattentive.
Very loud you can’t hear yourselves talk over the noise.
Food was average and over priced.
Long wait for drinks (water).
Staff lingering on side of restaurant smoking and littering on pavement. Aloof service. Food overpriced and mediocre. I will not hurry back.
Very goid experience
Monkfish and Prawn curry portion size a little on the light side
We arrived early and were cheerfully accommodated at the amended the. We were a little unhappy with the original table and again this was sorted out with no fuss.
The service was excellent and we were made to feel valued. Our waitress was delightful and seemed to be always available yet not intrusive. Food good and reasonably priced
Food portions were very very small. Food good but expected more
Excellent in every regard.
Charming and welcoming venue but the acoustics are challenging.
We had a lovely cream tea. Delicious scones
The staff were lovely
Very good food
Very good service
Very good value
The only bad point I would mention is the noise
My second visit in recent weeks but very enjoyable. Food delicious. Restaurant was moderately busy but still a good atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Fast service. Great food
Food - excellent.
Service - second to none.
I just wish it wasn't so noisy.
Love going to the Marylebone Ivy cafe always good service and a pleasant atmosphere.
Delicious food, plus excellent and unobtrusive service.
Wonderful service and good food and great value. Charming place.
Nestled in a quaint neighborhood, just outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap of Oxford street, this place is a great place to dine after a day of shopping. The food and service is impeccable, with delicious cocktails. All for a great value considering the location. I do suggest setting a reservation, as it can get busy...it’s popular for a reason!
An excellent lunch with lovely gin selection. Staff were welcoming and attentive while the food was fabulous.
Very nice gig, this, but not cheap. Quietish to start with, but got busier as the evening wore on. Food very nicely cooked and well presented, but portions not large (I'm happy with this, btw). Nice ambience.
Great choice of delicious food and sensibly priced wine combined with friendly and professional service make this a great venue. Friends on a first visit enjoyed it. I will go back again and again.
The service was slow & it was very noisy.
However, the people who waited on us were very nice. They may have been having an off night.
it was packed and so the noise level was a bit high so i will go off peak as i do really enjoy the place and the food is of a high standard but my seabags was not up to the usual mind blowing wonder of other dishes i have enjoyed in the past but all good.
I had visited previously for afternoon tea and enjoyed the venue, so returned with my family for dinner. We were overcharged, were not offered water, and even had to request that our remaining wine be served; hence our poor service rating. The food was average at best. A disappointing experience overall and the low point of our weekend dining in London.
I always enjoy The Ivy. The food is superb, as is the service. The ambiance is a bit noisy, but I take that as indication of patrons thoroughly enjoying themselves. I always do.
Waiters are careless. It takes long time everytime we try to call them. Food is not good as before.
Great service as to be expected from the ivy, food was excellent and drinks were delicious
