Today is Marvelous services specially from Sarah she changed my idea About IVY I hope the others do the same kind of service today is different
Really good flavours, relaxed atmosphere, will definitely return.
Two of the main courses were miniscule so we complained. They eventually bought another dish but the attitude in which this was done was not good. Will not be eating here again
The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is very good. We had a very happy celebration lunch.
Weekend lunch - very enjoyable. It started well with a warm welcome & being shown quickly to our table, the food was great and the drinks inventive. Really excellent service which made our visit quite special.
We received a very warm welcome upon entering the cafe and we seated right away and drinks order were taken promptly. The menu is generous, plenty to choose from. My children shared an adult main but we were offered a smaller portion for them if they preferred. We visited the Ivy Cafe before a theatre show and were in and out within an hour.
I made booking through open table and my booking is at 11pm and got confirmation by email. However when I arrived at 10:50pm they told me you have no booking and they are closed. I was very disappointed that It took me 15 minutes by taxi and at the end the manager tells me sorry you have no booking and we are closed...
Very good. Both food and service. To be recommended.
As ever, a friendly, buzzing atmosphere, good food and drink, well-priced, no pressure to eat or drink more (or less) than you want. Stylish and professional service. Most of menu available all day - love this place.
Lovely service, nice food, good choices, pleasant ambience
Always a pleasure, food delicious and staff attentive (not over bearing) and knowledgable .
Never have to worry about the experience, comfortable and relaxing.
Loved the food and ambience! Absolutely fantastic experience! Would recommend to a friend!
This is my favourite restaurant. The staff are welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful. Food, decor and ambience superb. That's all!
From the warm and friendly welcome to the fond farewells my partner and I enjoyed the whole occasion of our visit. Everything was excellent.
We enjoyed a fabulous post concert dinner.
Great location for us as within walking distance of Marylebone station.
Service was very attentive and friendly .
Comfort food served in a foodie way . We will return
Been here twice and it has always been just right. It does have the feel of the original Ivy without the preciousness.
Lovely cafe with very attentive and kind waiters. The food is really tasty with a wide range to choose from. I will definitely be coming back again!
Always exceptional food and impeccable service
Welcoming, attentive and personable service. Three ladies lunching were made to feel special - nothing too much trouble. Thank you!
Excellent all round.
Relaxing lunch. Good setting, service and tasty food.
Really friendly welcome from all the staff.
Excellent as always. Delicious food and friendly, helpful service.
Always reliably excellent tasty food, good service with buzzy atmosphere.
easy convenient tasty and nice environment what more can you want
The service was excellent and friendly. We both disliked the main course which was crab linguine and was not nice at all. However it was removed with any fuss and another dish quickly replaced it.
Lovely food and knowledgeable staff, would definitely recommend.
Slight trepidation about visiting a ‘chain’ restaurant but to be fair there was nothing ‘chain’ about the food or service - both were excellent.
Chose the Ivy Cafe Maryebone Lane for a family meal to celebrate my son's 1st class degree.I wanted somewhere which felt special but was still relaxed and not intimidating. I was delighted with how the evening went. We were there quite early= 6pm= as had to leave london later that evening.- but the dining room was pleasantly full and buzzing. Very pleased that the background music was low and unobtrusive (my son managed to detect Billie Holiday) which is as it should be, so people can talk. Cocktails were fab; some of our food choices were more successful than others- the pea soup was outstanding- the steak, egg & chips was really tasty, but the burger a bit dry & disappointing. The service was excellent throughout and staff coped very well with 2 of us who had nut allergies (quite a few of the starters include nuts). The ambience and decor were perfect for the occasion and I was delighted with my restaurant choice for this special meal. Thank you Ivy Cafe!
excellent meal and helpful staff we had a great evening
We ordered specials and were not offered sides, neither came with potatoes etc. My colleague ordered spinach which arrived quickly, I asked for bread which never arrived at all. I’ve eaten here before and was better but they seem to struggle when very busy
Lovely very relaxing good food and vibe
The food was imaginative and delicious - we especially loved the Truffle Arancini - and the waiters were charming and attentive, so we felt well looked after.
Attentive service and tasty cream tea! It is not the cheapest cafe in London, but certainly compares favourably in terms of price and portions! The cream was only 8.75 which included a small pot of tea, freshly cut strawberries, clotted cream, jam and three scones. It is certainly enough to share between two!
Good little spot for a working breakfast. Food very high standard as always with the Ivy collection; the only downside is the Marylebone brasserie is small, so the menu is much more limited than the other restaurants.
Great anniversary brunch. After 48 years pretty hard to reinvent the wheel in terms of celebrations a deux. Fitted the bill perfectly. Chef's tiny pastries were such fun.
Lovely, warm welcome and brilliant vegetarian breakfast. Charming, efficient service
Service was far too fast. Dishes arrived 5 minutes after ordering so no time to relax and enjoy the ambience
unfortunately quality declining - have eaten at this restaurant probably 4/5 time a year since opening - started excellent but that's all its got going for it is a good atmosphere.
bass dry and swimming in vinaigrette
dripping fries dry and tasteless - been left standing quite obviously
burger just passable
lamb shank - should be succulent - it was part tender though a dry and part sold and uneatable
chips - dry and quite nice
spinach - creamsed - very wet ! and cold as was the case last time
very dissapointing - wonder what you are goign to do about this review ?
Lovely service, great cocktails, delicious food. All round great!
There was no air conditioning on a +30 day disappointed
