The food was disappointing in comparison with previous visits .. black cod filet burnt on top and the courgette fritti were soggy.
It should be made clear in the reservation information that the garden shuts at precisely 10pm due to neighbour noise disturbance. If I had known in advance, I would have booked for 7h30. We were under pressure to order from the outset, had 10 minutes to eat dessert, and drink coffe, which was served first, and then felt like we were being pushed out .. not a great feeling when you have just spent £200 on a meal for two.

A lovely meal. Generally attentive staff. We were celebrating my partner's birthday. I had informed the restaurant in advance, but sadly they were not able to meet my prior request for an outdoor table or do anything to help us celebrate - not even a happy birthday (or a smile) from the door or waiting staff. It's a shame - I think perhaps the only place we've been to celebrate a special occasion where the staff didn't seem to care. I would visit again, as the food and venue are lovely, but not for a special occasion.

The meal was excellent but service really inconsistent badly timed just not attentive.
Long waits for simple thing like lime or sauce.
Too good a restaurant to have a bad waiter for table of 5.

Service was very slow and had to ask for things at least twice before they arrived. They took the bottle of wine away and left us with empty glasses for much of the evening.

We were very happy with our dinner and the service was very good. However, on the menu there were no mention of vegetarian dishes and it is always appreciated to have the small V to make the menu reading easier :)

The experience was pretty nice, the food and service were for the price, the only downside would be that they didn't give us a garden table.

We love this place. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and loved the ambiance and service from all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We sat in the garden - my favourite space - and we weren't too close to other tables. The cocktails were amazing and well priced. The food, as before, was faultless and all three courses were delicious. Thank you Ivy Chelsea Garden - and we look forward to coming again.

Excellent all round from corner table in the conservatory which we very much liked as being of a certain age we could hear each other to tasty food, flinty Chablis all served with attention and smiles .

Splendid entrance, leading to an attractive vibrant busy dining room.
Uncomfortable table which was a bit small for the food and drink.
It was theheavy legs of the table that trapped you.

My lemon sole was tasty but a bit on the small side.
My companions first courses of a form of pea soup was bland .
Their dessert was the chocolate bomb, which melts when the hot source is poured over it.
Very dramatic but so sweet you could only eat a spoonful.

The service was pleasant and attentive and the price was moderate.

Please improve the food and have a wonderful restaurant

My two guests had never been before and thought it was amazing.
Ihave been a number of times myself.
This time I had tempura prawns as a main course which is my favourite.
It was obviously cooked by a different chef than when I have had it before
It was not very good too much thick batter, not as light as tempura
batter should be.
I was not very happy with my lunch.
Sorry

We usually love the Ivy Chelsea Garden for its great service and food. Unfortunately this time the service was lacking as we were not even shown to our table and the food was mostly luke warm. Hopefully it improves next time.

We ate at the Ivy after spending the day at Wimbledon, which made it difficult to know the exact time we would arrive. The restaurant was very helpful in fitting us in as soon as possible after we arrived. They also changed our table to accommodate our somewhat older friends whose hearing is not as good as it was. The result was an excellent evening with very tasty food, good wine and friendly and helpful staff.

We were allocated a table at the back near the Gardens between other diners and requested to move to a better table .
The waiter was nice enough to facilitate our request
Next visit should request for table inside the Restaurant which will be much cooler

A bit of a ‘bun fight’ to get in the door as very busy, despite having booked a table but not The Ivy fault to be fair.
Food was faultless, absolutely delicious and good portions.
Can’t wait to go back and only down sides were the noise level a bit loud so not great for a quiet lunch and, the service was quite slow having to prompt the waiters to come.
All in all, loved it. Great place. See you again soon.
