Excellent service in beautiful setting. I loved the fact that despite the two hour guide time for our 7.30pm table, we were never rushed and only five hours later (12.30AM! when every other table was empty) did the maitre d ask discreetly if the last remaining coat ticket belonged to us. Service worthy of a members’ club.

It was a little too noisy. And the offer for meals was a little poor. No pasta, no lumb....
I prefer to recomend it for lunch. Thank you

A very cosy restaurant. The dining area and back garden are all very nicely and stylishly decorated. We were well looked after by those friendly staff. The lobster linguine was cooked and served to a very high standard. Really impressive experience.

This was my first trip to an Ivy restaurant and I am told that Chelsea Garden is a must. I was not disappointed. The food was excellent and the next time I attend, I will have only the main course, starter and mains were too much for me but we were not rushed and so took our time eating. Truly a lovely place. I actually booked online and was perhaps a little disappointed where we were seated. I tried to select a table on line but somehow could not do so. The next time I think I will telephone and request a Conservatory table, although they are popular, that is so because of the light and airy feel. Where we sat, I felt it a little dark. Service was so professional. At the beginning, a waiter came along and asked if we would like to order a drink (apart from the water served). We ordered a bottle of Prossecco and as there was an offer of two, one a Spanish Cava, we asked the waiter which was the most dry and she did not know but at least went to find out and came back with a good description of the wines in order to make our choice, again excellent.

We came for my son's birthday which I had mentioned at time of booking and also on the day via phone. He was greeted with a 'Happy birthday' on the door but this was then forgotten and no cake/candles was brought out which was really disappointing. It left a disappointed feeling and I'm not sure I will be hurrying back

It was a delicious afternoon tea and good value for money. However, it was a bit noisy and you have to add the price of the service on the top of the prices shown on the menu.

Rude hosting staff.. after asking on the reservation and on the phone confirmation call to be seated in the conservatory (it was a special occasion for us) lady at the reception said that while they had no tables free at the time of our reservation, we could wait. She promised to come get us when a table freed up, after waiting over half an hour and seeing people leave, went up again and they had forgotten us and were now unable to seat us in the area we wanted and were seated at a very crowded and noisy end. Food was okay, not super special and the tea only lukewarm, which added to the overall let down of what should have been the ultimate close of a romantic anniversary weekend in London.

Our waiter was not as polished, as usual; he was bordering on rude, in fact.
The scallops, ordered as an entree, were, firstly tiny, secondly served in a bowl, thirdly placed in a tomato based sauce; not as described on the menu/website.
The fillet mignon is every shrinking. For 30 pounds for a steak, it should really be more than 200 grams.

Overall, we had a really good time. The ambiance is incredible and everyone was very friendly. The food was very good. Sadly, our waiter disappeared and we sat for 30 minutes trying to get someone’s attention. It was not busy enough to warrant the lack of attention. I would recommend it to anyone without somewhere to be.

Lovely ambience, excellent service by all members of staff. We only had two hours to spend there as we had a train to catch, the staff made sure that our food came out on time and we managed to fit in a post dinner drink in the beautiful enclosed garden .

Beautiful setting, meal was ok, dessert lovely, staff were friendly and attentive, a little pricey. Even charged for little mustard sauce on the side, although not much ... appx £3. I think ketchup, mustard etc should be free with your meal. But overall it was a great experience.

We’re Americans in London! A lot better service in london rather than Italy. I feel like this place is only worth it if you’re sitting outside.
We’re from Texas so getting steak here doesn’t compare. But everything else does. The chocolate bombe dessert was great.

I had some friends over from the states , threee of us ordered the sea bass, it was the worst dish I have ever had, I have been to the ivy many many times and have never paid 24 pounds for something I couldn’t even eat, the creamed spinach was chopped spinach swilling around in a weak watery cream mess. The sea bass whole dish was inedible , it tasted terrible and none of us could eat it. When I told the manager she said we should have said before , but you start eating your meal and then find out . Whoever devised that dish should be shot, disgusting . The manager then gave us a bottle of wine on the house, my friend actually turned her back on it. As I spent nearly £30 pounds on a meal I couldn’t eat , times that by three, we weren’t offered other food
- nothing. We are all people who regularly eat out in nice restaurants, ivy kings road should be ashamed - does
Anyone taste these
Dishes. Appalling food, appalling service and have walked away very unhappy.

It’s very crowded in the lunch time. The reception ladies serviced the guest behind me Not sure was she couldn’t heard me or see me? The waitress are very helpful and friendly. But I won’t recommend to any Asian friends since the poor experience from reception.

Service is normally fantastic but the staff were not happy today and couldn’t manage even the smallest of smiles, never mind anything resembling good service. Fortunately the usual fantastic service from Ivy managers prevented us walking out but we would have preferred to leave on reflection. Not the greatest Ivy experience.

Food was very average. Sweet potatoe was nice.We only finished our starter, it was still on the table when they arrived with our mains. Asked for the bill and we didnt get to read over it when the waiter arrived with the card machine. Very pushy.Service charge of 11£ which was compulsary and in my opinion wasnt worth it.

Overall- very overrated. Nicest part was the glass of Rose in the courtyard at the end.

I’m really disappointed with my time here, I took my friend for her birthday.

For the price there really wasn’t very much or anything special.

The bread was hard and it was all just a bit basic.

No one asked if we would like more tea etc.

Really not happy with my experience here.

We were welcomed to the bar by one of the bar men who made the most excellent cocktails. Our table was a little late in being ready but the table service and recommendations made up for this. We had a wonderful meal and the setting was lovely in the conservatory.
