Ivy Chelsea Garden
Ambience and the setting was lovely. But our food was very much “just ok.”
Fabulous night, fab food, fab everything !
Service outstanding too
Its just breath taking place and perfect food the atmosphere the welcoming its the best experience for me in dining in london its for all occasions after noon tea brunch dinner so romantic for date or anniversary or even family gathering you will going to enjoy the experience over all
Excellent food and service. Quite noisy and frenetic though
Lovely restaurant and fantastic food.
Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Ambiance was great .
Overall a very good lunch
Service and food noticeably worse
Have been to quite a few Ivys and they have never failed to please, but this one was a wonderful surprise - amazing decor, space and ambience. Familiar format, concept and menu. Service a bit inconsistent but they WERE busy - and it was a Tuesday night in July when other restaurants are struggling. Well worth a visit
Beautiful garden. Fantastic service. Great food.
Amazing set up and ambiance. Very british and has a lovely garden. Extensive menu and choices
Excellent food and a beautiful setting. We had the lobster to start and truffle arancini balls to start. They were incredible. The mains were vegetarian and very tasty. Great cocktails.
Everything was perfect, the ambiance was great, the waitress guessed our every need, and the food was fabulous. I highly recommend this place
Upon arrival it took over ten min to get our table ready. I had to chase for it twice. Door staff not attentive and one lady in particular giving attitude and not smiling at all.
I ordered eggs avocado and they came back hard boiled so had to send back and took ages to get them by which time the rest of guests had finished their breakfast.
Conservatory room was lacking service.
Incredible food and very pleasant atmosphere however repeatedly told by staff that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate numerous seating requests to be on the terrace which was disappointing. Can’t take it away from the food though...
My partner and I were very very excited to go to The Ivy in Chelsea, since so many people have told me how amazing it was. I love the scenery and ambiance of it, but unfortunately I was not to happy with the service. Our table unfortunately broke as we were being sat down. One of the leg bottoms broke off and the whole table started moving. We asked to be seated at another table, because it was extremely wonky and unpleasant, but no, instead there was just a cork screw stuck at the bottom and that seemed to solve the problem for a minute, but the table was very wonky and my partner an I always had to keep holding our drinks and try not touch the table, so that it doesn't move. I understand that sometimes the tables are al booked out and there might not be another table, but it would have been nice to just have a more pleasant experience, since we were so excited. Other then that, the food was delicious!
Such a lovely atmosphere and very pretty place. Food was delicious, we had steak, and the chocolate bomb for dessert was to die for! Wasn’t stuffy or pretentious a we thought it might have been.
Service could have been better, more engaging and eye contact with customer but wasn’t bad.
The Ivy Chelsea garden always my first choice ,
The fish and chips so nice the fish always so fresh and best sour dough bread
Excellent lunch to celebrate my daughters graduation, food and service excellent.
Wilma was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful
The food was disappointing in comparison with previous visits .. black cod filet burnt on top and the courgette fritti were soggy.
It should be made clear in the reservation information that the garden shuts at precisely 10pm due to neighbour noise disturbance. If I had known in advance, I would have booked for 7h30. We were under pressure to order from the outset, had 10 minutes to eat dessert, and drink coffe, which was served first, and then felt like we were being pushed out .. not a great feeling when you have just spent £200 on a meal for two.
The garden outside is outstanding and the venue amazing. However the food is average and the service medium. A lot about the name and the fuss with it but average overall.
A lovely meal. Generally attentive staff. We were celebrating my partner's birthday. I had informed the restaurant in advance, but sadly they were not able to meet my prior request for an outdoor table or do anything to help us celebrate - not even a happy birthday (or a smile) from the door or waiting staff. It's a shame - I think perhaps the only place we've been to celebrate a special occasion where the staff didn't seem to care. I would visit again, as the food and venue are lovely, but not for a special occasion.
Lovely ambience, amazing food and fabulous service!
Fab space...great location..very warm welcome...will definitely visit again
Food was pretty mediocre, but in a very pretty setting.
The meal was excellent but service really inconsistent badly timed just not attentive.
Long waits for simple thing like lime or sauce.
Too good a restaurant to have a bad waiter for table of 5.
Service was very slow and had to ask for things at least twice before they arrived. They took the bottle of wine away and left us with empty glasses for much of the evening.
Absolutely loved it, the Afternoon Tea and the Cocktails were amazing. I will come back.
Have been before for dinner but wanted to try lunch instead which didn’t disappoint. Service and food out of this world.
Everything was lovely!
We were very happy with our dinner and the service was very good. However, on the menu there were no mention of vegetarian dishes and it is always appreciated to have the small V to make the menu reading easier :)
Lovely location. Feels like holidaying in London!!
Worth a visit when the sun is out
Best breakfast place I’ve ever been in. Royal Eggs are just perfect!
Ambiance is amazing , food was tasty i highly recommend.
The experience was pretty nice, the food and service were for the price, the only downside would be that they didn't give us a garden table.
We love this place. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and loved the ambiance and service from all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We sat in the garden - my favourite space - and we weren't too close to other tables. The cocktails were amazing and well priced. The food, as before, was faultless and all three courses were delicious. Thank you Ivy Chelsea Garden - and we look forward to coming again.
Excellent food but service was slow. Very long wait for mains.
staff was so rude and no professional even the servers
Excellent all round from corner table in the conservatory which we very much liked as being of a certain age we could hear each other to tasty food, flinty Chablis all served with attention and smiles .
