Took a couple of pals with us on Friday morning and then went back again on Sat morning as they enjoyed it so much. Our son and his fiancé joined us also on Saturday.
We love it here and it never ceases to impress. Service and food quality are superb. Best poached eggs I’ve had in London. Also great marmalade.
Outside decor was amazing as it wS dressed up for Chelsea Flower Show. Amazing display

From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were treated like customers and no commodities! The service was excellent and quick, we had the most lovely meal and a large portion it was too. Also met some very nice fellow diners and had a nice talk with them. My husband's birthday was on this day so it made for a nice treat for him. Happy birthday, Richard.

The restaurant was very busy and vibrant as we went during Chelsea Flower Show week. We were early for our booking but front of house staff were very accommodating and let us take our seats straight away. However we had to wait a very long time for our drinks and the olives we had ordered to have with drinks before the meal came after our main meal. We ordered fish which was beautifully cooked. The veg however was undercooked and extremely difficult to cut as virtually raw. Puddings were lovely.

I booked the Ivy Chelsea for brunch with my friend. We found it very difficult to park on the kings road so I called the restaurant to let them know we were running slightly late and did they have any recommendations as to parking. We had arrived and were sat down by 11:30 where I was told we couldn’t have breakfast menu! My friend then Explained to the waiter we were 15 minutes late as we couldn’t park. I table was booked for brunch at 11:15..! He gave us the brunch menu but explained we had to order straight away..... the whole experience was rushed!! Within 5 minutes of ordering our food it was on the table. I asked to change my browns to granary but this couldn’t be done??
I have been to many of your restaurants all over but that was my worst experience....! We both felt we had to eat and go!! Really disappointing

Rather disappointing. We had really been looking forward to a meal at The Ivy, Chelsea Garden. Our evening was spoilt by the appalling level of service. We were seated at the booked time of 8.30pm. By 9.10pm we still did not have the wine we had ordered on arrival or, any bread. Finally, when I could get someone's attention, a different bottle of wine appeared at the table - as apparently, they'd 'run out' of the other bottle we ordered. They didn't even bother to bring the wine list for us to select something different. The twice requested bread, finally turned up mid starter, an hour after we sat down. ( Which, I wouldn't have minded if we'd actually had a drink for most of the said hour.) The starters of Steak Tartare and Scallops with Pea Puree and Shallots were both tasty, however half of the accompanying toast for the Steak Tartare was only toasted on one side. Chicken Milanese as a main was very tasty, as was my partner's main. Such a shame that service was so poor that it marred our enjoyment of the evening.

It was my mums 50th birthday and we had the most lovely evening. The waitress serving us was amazing and was so quick with all of our needs. She also organised a candle and happy birthday for my mum which was really special.

Whilst everything was excellent, we found the service a bit slow.We enjoyed being seated in the verandah area.
We celebrated our anniversary, perhaps you could do something small to make it special!?

Went there for dinner with a friend. Having been to most of the restaurants owned by Caprice Holdings I knew to expect a swanky restaurant with great food and service and I was not disappointed. Atmosphere was cosy but classy and I would always recommend asking to be seated in the eponymous garden if possible as it is lovely.

The 3rd time I have been here, always on the back of some event or other in Chelsea, so usually a late booking for me and my family. Late dining is clearly not a problem for the staff and service is always good, as is the ambience (it has become a Chelsea favourite I think) as is the food & wine on offer. A decent range of English and French cooking with a substantial wine list to match.

It's not exactly cheap but the quality means that its better value than the bill might suggest - in other words you will appreciate its ambience, its attention to detail, the unobtrusive service, the good cooking, fresh ingredients etc, etc. So I will continue to go and enjoy it!

Food was lovely . Very busy but fun. Unfortunately service let everything down. No one seem to care and plates were plonked down and waiting staff just walked off. We won’t be returning .

Shame that smoking is allowed in the whole of the outside area. The tables are close by and its Chelsea so the smokers don't seem to care if you're eating or not so you will get a mouthful of cigarette smoke with your meal if you're out there. We asked to be moved inside which was accommodated even on a busy flower show evening.
Tuna Carpaccio was great, wine is great value.

My Husband surprised me by taking me to lunch on our way to the RSH Chelsea Flower Show. This will be a annual thing for us now.
I loved the choice of vegetarian food, the garden seating was relaxed and cosy. Loved all of it.
Service great.

thank you

I'm clocking up the Ivy's now (been to three different ones!) and love the ambience in particular, the very efficient service and the food. Only gripe is the continued use of plastic straws. Change to paper straws asap please!

This is by far the best Ivy. Really friendly and efficient service, great ambience and good food.
We arrived early on a very busy day ( Chelsea Flower Show) and there was no problem at all in taking us to our table. Drinks orders were taken immediately, but the food was a little slow in coming, which we didn't mind too much. The waitress noticed and apologised and took some money of our bill.
Overall lives up to the Ivy name, unlike some of the others.

It’s a shame the service lets this beautiful venue down. First we waited 5 minutes for our table despite having booked (the restaurant was not full), then my water bottle was taken off me as they didn’t want it on display (ok, but wait to hear what happened later), my mothers order wasn’t taken correctly so she was left waiting with eggs and salmon before she had any toast, and finally upon leaving - having been told I could collect my water - I asked the front of house for it, telling her it was an Evian bottle. She presented me with 2 different ones (both open) asking me which was mine. I have no issue with it being put by one side for me but that it wasn’t labelled and I could have taken someone else’s by mistake put me off to the point that I told them to forget it. A shame, all these things come down to service. Everything else is lovely.

Brought my mum here for her 70th birthday
Had a lovely time - funny moment at top when the host came over to talk with us and commented how he was also close to his granmother as he gestured to my mum.
We all laughed and he was mortified when I pointed out this was actually my mother .
Regardless - good food and good service as always. Great value for money

If you want to sit in the wonderfully decorated area right before the garden, make sure you indicate it in your bookings. I've been two times and both times I was seated at the regular restaurant area which has a rather ordinary atmosphere
