Excellent food and service. A name you always rely on to deliver a very good meal.
Was style over substance plus not a happy expereince. Wife ordered a hamburger done well. Came out medium and chips were cold. Asked for mayo. Came when she had nearly finished what she was eating. No apology. They did remibe off bill however. Was ok but far superior places.
Have been many times, always good quality food.
This time round we had to wait 75 minutes for our main course, computer glitch they said.
Seems that the personell are all new compared to 4 months ago and are operating a bit chaotically.
We were kindly compensated for our exceptional wait, so will be back
Having dined at three Ivy outposts now, I continue to be delighted with the excellent quality and variety of eating. Highly recommended.
Nice food and the waiters were nice but not very attentive. The toilets were also not of a very good standard which was surprising for such a high quality restaurant.
Honestly a bit disappointed with the quality of the food !!!
Amazing brunch on Sunday. I had the Garden breakfast which was the best meal I’ve ever tasted.. It was also my 40th celebrations and made my day when they bought out a desert with a candle on. Thankyou The Ivy Kensington :)
Absolutely fantastic breakfast! Great service, great food and great atmosphere.
The breakfast was better than the steak meal the night before.
I have had better steak for a lot less money in places just as good.
Lively and smart without being formal. Service was mostly attentive and friendly. The food is tasty but feels a little standardized, for example the Bloody Mary tasted similar to a ready made one rather than freshly prepared. The eggs in our eggs Benedict were cold, probably from waiting too long before being brought to the table.
A lovely evening with friends. Nice atmosphere, great wine, delicious food. Would definitely recommend.
Very enjoyable dining experience, food and service very very good.
it was very busy and i felt the food was not as good as previous times.
Delicious food. Tables a bit cramped together and very noisy. Service pleasant but slow.
Sadly the service was very poor. The first time I have experienced that at an Ivy. We went especially early as we had guests who had just arrived off a long haul flight. It took near 4 hours for us to get through our meal and that was without a desert! The waitress was a lovely person but poor in the service which spoilt the experience
Lovely late lunch with a friend after visit to Kensington Palace. We sat in the outside area which was lovely - fresh and a little quieter than the main restaurant. Service was nicely paced and friendly. Will visit again.
Menu has a lot of options so good for families. Overall quality of food was very good. But back of the House was far superior to front of the house service which was atrocious. We never saw our waiter after we ordered and constantly had to ask for items through out the meal. Wait staff appears untrained and overwhelmed. While the quality of the food was good, I would save a trip to here until they figure service out.
Beautiful meal - with a great menu - as always.
Front of house service was fantastic, despite my mix up on booking time - they were able to help and accommodate with minimal fuss.
Table service was a little slow at times - but the restaurant was busy, and it didn't impact my overall experience.
My only small piece of negative feedback, was that my main course wasn't warm enough. Again, I think this was driven by the number of covers in the restaurant at the time. Even being a little cold, the flavour was still beautiful, and the quality of food was great.
The scallops with chorizo and butternut squash starter was phenomenal. Impeccably cooked & bursting with flavour - I can't recommend this dish highly enough. My new favourite!
The service was outstanding courteous efficient and friendly, the food was excellent, good value for money
We were a party of 7 and the waiter was very pushy! I asked for the early dinner menu at 5.45 (menu goes until 6.30) and he rolled his eyes at me. Felt very rushed the entire time and not all at taken care of. Food was also very average, not at all special.
Huge fan of the growing restaurant group and eager to try their Kensington venue. The food did not disappoint, it was fantastic. Unfortunately our whole experience from start to finish was very rushed and quite frantic. We were asked several times within the first 15mins whether we had decided on our choices. The meals came almost too quickly; unfortunately took away the enjoyment of my birthday meal and felt like it was ‘fast food’ as such. Loved the decor and the food was stunning. Just please, less with the rushing.
Been to most Ivy’s across the UK and most of the time it’s inveedible, however our waiter on Monday 8th in the garden was not great unfortunately, he didn’t understand or couldn’t hear us order plus he wouldn’t make any recommendations just said ‘no’ when we asked about drinks available. Our glasses weren’t cleared often so we were left with a lot of glasses on the table. Other than that the food was lovely but trying to talk over a leaf blower in the background was difficult. There were gardeners next to us and it wasn’t the most ambient.
Lovely restaurant with a pleasant buzz. The noise level was a bit high but we were by the window so we could just about hear our conversation. Food was delicious and very attentive and friendly staff.
The food was absolutely spectacular and the staff are so friendly .
Table right by the door when many other tables were available
Food is very average
Be careful they don’t lists all ingredients for the meal on the menu (causing me to have an allergic reaction- to avocado) they only list the ingredients if they feel there is enough of it within the meal. Staff were ok but just be careful
Cosy and nice place with excellent food. I love Ivy and the choice of food
Absolutely superb food and service. This was a delightful meal. The fish pie special was to die for!
Food was very good and friendly staff serving. Would definitely come back again and recommend the restaurant
Great food good and service. Good value for money. Buzzy vibe. Loved it.
Lovely restaurant, great staff and would definitely visit again.
Very accommodating as we had limited amount of time & service was perfect. Enjoyed the food as usual
What made the experience outstanding was the little birthday tart, my friend was very appreciative. Your chips are very good. Your staff are very attentive, in a good way.
Front tables too cold I want a better table next time
Went for a pre theatre meal with my mother and we were joined by my nephew who lives near London. We asked to move tables as it was a bit draughty near the window and the waitress arranged this with efficiency and no fuss. The atmosphere, food and cocktails were excellent and our waitress was absolutely lovely which made our experience even more enjoyable.
The restaurant had an old school glamour which appealed to all our age groups 78,51 and 19!
We would recommend The Ivy Brasserie very highly ,thank you for an enjoyable and memorable meal.
This was the second time I had been to this venue, both for special occasions meeting friends. All of us live outside London but all will revisit as a successful meeting place, however I preferred the outside terrace as you could at least hear what was said. When I visit again I would like to be given this option in the warmer months. The worst part of the whole expearience was trying to amend my last booking by phone, I gave up and booked another table online
Amazing food and service
Excellent cocktails. Cod was cooked perfectly but a little bland.
Trendy restaurant. Price/quality of food is an issue. Friendly personnel. Too noisy.
